  • Splatterhouse 2 was the one game that you really notice a difference in music speed when playing 50/60 hertz, anyone that thinks its too fast played 50 hertz.

  • Love this mysterious music.

  • I used to call it dick head, sort of looked like one.

  • most underrated game ever !

  • i seen ass face in the remake he looks bad ass pun intended lol

  • this shit is so cool

  • I remember this track the most from when you're escaping the island with Jeniffer on the boat and you've got the monster chasing you down. The JP cover of the game looks so much better then the one we got. It seems to fit the game better and it's not just a bad cartoon picture of Rick hitting monsters with a 2X4.

  • awesome, the best music of genesis ever!!!

  • Just the right mix of creepyness, cheesyness and action for a Splatterhouse boss. I want to slug it out with the undead every time I here this.

  • the music is cool

the bosses that have got this music are REALLY DIFFICULT!

So...just because of this music I never get angry!

  • This boss lol :

    Off ->  \ '\o |ô- /

  • Oh you did upload it. But this version is much faster than the one that actually plays in the game, kinda kills the melody.

  • As far as I know this is the only version... Unless GENS speeds it up for some reason.

  • I think it did, but I honestly still think it sounds good.

  • have the cart. this is the exact speed

  • @disastersquad2 yes it is, if you own a 60hz system ... i've played the 50hz version and it's true it makes a big and strange difference. I kinda prefer the slow version better but anyway, it's damn good wheter you listen to it on 50hz or 60hz.

  • Are you playing on 50 Hz or 60 Hz? IIRC, the European machines played the Genesis games at the slower 50 Hz rate, while the American machines played at 60 Hz, resulting in a faster pace of music, sound effects, animation and gameplay. Don't ask me why that is; I have no idea.

  • @GloopyG

You're most likely playing on PAL system, which runs in 50hz rather than in 60hz. This is why the music is slower in PAL region games.
