@chevyislife Actually it has to do with the box is tuned way too high and the subs just make the tuning higher so it is bad at low frequencies... also it isn't just the trunk ratteling as the trunk itself has deadening, most of what you hear is the bumper vibrating. My back window flexes on the low lows and the doors flex on the low lows too (not from speakers since the back doors don't have speakers in them).

nice but the boss audio amp is shit i have one on a single digital designs 1515 1500 watt peak 500 rms and it is in 2 ohm and the amp delivers 2200 watt peak in 2 ohm and  over a 1000 rms and my sub sounds fucking underpowered :P

@xplod414 Capacitors are not good at all. look at the videos here on you tube for capacitors. and they will explainn a lot about what they are for and to what extent they will not work no more. for high wattage/power systems, capacitors wont work. they will require a HO Alternators and Powercells. for low wattage/power systems, you could use capacitor or you could still get a smaller powercell. my opinion the powercell will work better.

@shqzll I had a lot of luck with 12"s. The 15"s are nice to have but they are a in the ass to fit in the trunk (had to take half the trim out of the trunk to squeeze it in). I'm gonna be doing 18"s but keep in mind I'm removing my back seats for them. Good and efficient 10"s or 12"s should slam just remember it's extremely hard to find a good alternator for these cars so w ecant work with a ton of power.

@ryanjosephdarby Fosgate is good quality but is pretty expensive. The current gen DC Level 5 18"s are only about $600 a piece which is just a little cheaper than the RE MX 18"s. DCs are known to take a TON of power and hit EXTREMELY hard. The most expensive AudioQue 18" is still under $500 I think.
