In this second movement of the Sonata on a theme by Bartok the composer construct a kind of "adagio" which is extremely beautiful and powerful. The central section, building the sonorities to a powerful "climax" (where we hear the notes corresponding to the name of Bach) it is masterpiece of music, powefull and lyric at the same time. The best adagio of the whole piano music ever written in Brazil in all times.
