  • @firerider917 true, but its a real shame ;_;

  • i know a mushroom and he's a fungi

  • i hated nuts and bolts so much it destoyed the Banjo Kazooie series completely it shud of been called Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Balls cuz it did sucked so much of them

  • I still question why Chunky's teeth are pink. Let's hope that's gum.

  • @kboy11100 It's his tongue, but the shadow covers it so it looks like pink teeth lol

  • @kboy11100

I thought it was his tongue, but now you mention it, it looks pretty weird O.o

  • I loved to climb all way up (or use the 5 switch) just to Jump down!

    OOAAAEUUGGHH!!! *splat*

  • The 0 dislikers are right.

  • @Yosher21 i think K.ROOL saw your comment... ouch! anyways i liked

  • @sim5191 must have been an kremling!

  • this, in my opinion, helped to mark that legendary era of gaming: the pinnicle. super metroid, ocarina of time, mario64, mariokart64, pokemon red and blue. the days in which sonic was still beloved and mortal kombat was the ultimate in videogame violence. imagination was at its best over ten years ago and im proud to say that i grew up in that era :)

  • @tarkdasmooth Im proud to have grown up in that era, and still remain playing those amazing games to this day! As well as the grandfather of them all.... DK64

  • this song i will always remember it no matter wat age i am

donkey kong 64 is a awesome game glad that my mother bought me this

    game 11yrs ago

  • i was looking for this one! i remember it!

  • This game was hardcore. It's way too much exploring for a single video game.

Every character had its own set of collectibles and it's own areas in every stage.

  • You know what sucks? The Stampers have left. Grrr

  • Nintendo made a bad move in letting the Wii be a marketting platform for everybody's crap that isn't even meant to be a game. Seems like 70%-80% of Wii games you see in stores now are either things that have no relation to the gaming industry whatsoever or utter crap like Ninjabread Man. Hopefully Nintendo can still turn that around.

  • this game was a lot of fun, but a little annoying with the bannans and shit.

  • advent.

  • Why is everybody hating on Microsoft? It's nit there fault that nintendo didn't want to hold the rights the rare anymore that's why Microsoft bought rare because rare sold 51% of there stock to them and nintendo sold the rest off. Besides don't blame Microsoft that that rare is making crappy games because Microsoft has nothing to do with it. Rare us still rar

  • no rare used to be so good, when they were still with nintendo, they were like brothers, When you spoke about nintendo you also meant rare

they should be together again, for our and DK's and Banjo Kazooie's sakes

  • @bringitonTV Banjo Kazooie's doing fine.. Donkey Kong was never as good... Not so much of a loss the way I look at it..

  • @monoblog

Doing fine? BK has had one game in the post-Rare&Nintendo world , and it is currently the most controversial entry. And at this point, alot of the Rare staff who used to be there during the N64 days are gone.

DK however has had a few games post-Rare that have been decent and then DKCR which highly praised basically.

  • @bringitonTV you got over 750 mil to buy rare back? i agree with you they should be back together, but microsoft paid good money for them and i dont think we can get em back.

  • @bringitonTV I actually thought they were the same company when I was a kid.

  • but worse, it's like microsoft stole Nintendo's girl. Microsoft is a bad guy, leave the gaming consoles to the japanese masters like Nintendo and Sony

  • Maybe because Microsoft stopped from Rare making conker the bad fur day sequel?

  • It just seems like the new video game companies are just greedy and only care about making money.

BUT, if they really wanted to make money, they should make games like these.

  • nintendo is the same way.

  • No, they are not. When is the last time you seen THIS in the store?

  • You are right, my friend. People maked games back than for Imagination, not for profit. That's what I would do

  • @Deader87: Umm, people have always made games for profit. The best games (in your opinion), however, have used imagination to capture you to create a memorable experience.

  • i played this game with my dad when i was little :D

  • cool i played this game with my mom :)

  • I heard that they arnt creating more donkey kong games because its not really famous or something. Thats not what I think.!

  • i bet in a decade the kids that r growing up nowadays w super mario galaxy, zelda: twilight princess, and brawl will be reminiscing over those games, just as we r today over the golden days of the n64. the N64 generation is now getting rdy 2 go 2 college in a few years. kinda sad...

  • everyone who had a n64 back then is almost an adult or has kids

  • Nintendo should re-instate Rare as Rarware once again and persue all the planned games before Microsoft canned them like the long awaited Conker sequal.

  • I know really. Rare was already planning a new banjo-kazooie game before they got sold to Microsoft. I fucking hate Microsoft.

  • I truly feel your pain bro.

  • Yeah they messed banjo-kazooie. The new one wasn't terrible but it's basically all about racing and driving vehicles. And you kill people with a freaking wrench.

  • I also hate what they did to Mumbo Jumbo my favorite character. How can they go from a witch doctor to a fucking mechanic? Thats so monotonous.

  • Definitely. I mean the fact that Mumbo could transform the duo into different thongs in the first game and pursue the impossible like bringing statues to life was awesome.

  • Definite agree.

    lol "thongs"

    But definitly its all redundant.

  • Hopfully, Nintendo can by Rare from Microsoft, I mean Nintendo has created soo many ledgendary titles espeically back then. You know I bet Nintendo would have made Banjo-Kazooi BETTER! O_O

  • agreed

  • Rare were the only ones who could have possibly made Banjo Kazooie as good as it is. I was heart broken at the news that Microsoft bought Rare. I'll never forgive Microsoft for doing such a thing since Rare was one of the greatest game developers of all time.

I mean, I don't see what their intentions were in buying them in the first place. Rare's developed two games; one being a crappy race spinoff, and the other being a port.

Although I do agree that Nintendo buying them would be better.

  • banjo threeie ? :P

  • I AM A FUN GU- *bricked*

  • This defines me at 11 years old! I got this game in 2001 from a pawn shop with the expansion pack for $45. I would play these old Rare games till 1 or 3 every Friday night. I love Fridays, the perfect gaming night after that long week of work. If tiered for N64 platformers, I'd say:

    BK>SM64>BT>DK64>CBFD

This doesn't mean a thing though. ALL those games are masterpieces.

  • Rare games are so awesome.....

  • *FACEPALM*

They can't do that, Microsoft (Used to be Nintendo.)owns Rare.Wich means that they could not even get ONE game on there. Its better off with Nintendo IMO. Rare and Nintendo was THE BEST combination for Rare. I mean, look at the new Rare. Its good but compared to the old one....IT JUST FREAKING SUCKS! I doubt Sony could make it better.

  • Yah, i know its not possible.. lol, Thumbs down for me :P

  • and banjo-kazooie doesn't deserve to be on a sony console... in fact it doesn't deserve to be on microsoft after nuts and bollocks :S

  • Yeah, ur right mate.. Anyways,, I love Nintendo 64 :P

  • Aww, come on, can't blame the guy for wanting Nintendo games on his console. (I'm talking about Donkey Kong, I know Banjo and Kazooie are Rare)

That said, DK64, BK, Goldeneye AND Perfect Dark for the Virtual Console anyone?

  • I want those games on Virtual Console too, as a sort of F you to Rare. Besides, in my opinion, since the games were made with the Nintendo liscense, Nintendo has the right to rerelease them.

  • I'm glad I managed to buy an old N64 with expansion pack and Perfect Dark... best fps ever... now i just need to find a fully functionable controller and DK64.

Then I can start praying for a Goldeneye, or who knows a Smash Bros (since Nintendo won't release it for the Virtual Console -_-)

  • They should at the very least, be able to put Donkey Kong 64 on the Virtual Console, becaust Donkey Kong and all related characters are owned by Nintendo. They were able to put Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3 on there, so they should be able to put Donkey Kong 64.

  • Thats not a bad idea. I wish they coould do that....=(

    Thankfully, I have the DK64 Cartridge and a N64. =)

But come on rare, its only fair (Hey, I ryhmed!)!

  • @daluigi205 *BITCH SLAP*

  • @daluigi205 Talk about nuts & bolts...now THAT game freaking sucked

  • this sounds like the unused fungus forest music in banjo-kazooie

  • ok, I'm pretty sure that you could help me with a problem.

obviously you have the music to the night theme from fungi forest so---

could tell me how to make it night?

all the walkthrough websites just say "turn it to night to do yadda yadda what ever and all the hoohaa that needs to be done. any help?

  • there is a cannon in the big main area pointing to the big middle treehouse thing. go in it and shoot the moon to make it night, shoot the sun to make it day again

  • sweet, thanks

  • yep

  • nice song 2

    relax in a tree house!!!!

  • Strange it almost always makes me feel sad & melancholic sometimes if you ask me. Just my opinion though

  • I think the night time version of fungi forest when I'm playing the game at night has a little bit of magic because I'm always like what am I feeling on my shoulder

  • This game should be on Wii VC

  • this song is southing and some time i play it before i go to sleep

  • ^_^

  • I love this song, but I can rarely listen to it, because it generally makes me feel so melancholic. I can only listen to it when I'm feeling truly negative & depressive

  • Really? I think it brightens the day up.

  • That's fine music can give u all different kinds of reactions. I only like to listen to it during times I feel really sentimental

  • ahhh brings back memory's

  • LOVE IT!

  • hook it up with the song? can i have it its rare huh?

  • wait until night time in this world--CREEPY!!!

  • if u dont know what fungus forest is then dont read this coment. its cool how on banjo kazooie they first put this level on here and this music sounds like its from b-k

  • pretty much all the music from DK64 sounds the same as B-K and B-T, thats Grant Kirkhope and Robin Beanland's awesomeness! ^_^

Imo, Grant Kirkhope and Robin Beanland are some of the best VG Musicians out there! Too bad Grant isn't working for Rare anymore :(

  • yeah that sucks

  • who is Grand Kirkhope working for now??

  • BigHugeGames (I think that's the name). He moved from London to Maryland.

I've been hearing pieces by Robin Beanland in the new banjo, and it sounds great! Just like the originals, so don't worry, the music will have the same charm to it :)

  • Wonderful song, best!

  • Im happy they didnt put this level on banjo kazooie, because I didn`t play that game.

But I did play donkey kong, and this was my favorite level!

  • I believe it was re-shaped into clankers cavern in that game. Oh, and it's definetly a game worth playing.

  • Feels BKish Mainly Because This Song Was Used In BK For Advents And in "Clanker's Cavern" You Get The Same Melody...So This Could Possibly be a sign of Fungus Forest Hiding Somewhere in BK!

  • yeah it was originally for BK, but they scrapped it and put it in DK64.

  • "Advent" sounds more like the original tune for the Stop N Swop theme. You know, back when SNS was between BK and DK64. Though, the icekey was the only thing used then.

  • :D this is nice music.

  • kinda off the subject, but i wish rare still made banjo kazooie games for nintendo. there not the same for 360.

  • so do i

  • It has that sort of sad, childish family-movie feel.

  • Man I love this level like a freaking fairy tale and I love the Baboon blast stage for DK song and the race between the hare and the oragatang.

  • Heh. This place always went on forever and freaked me out when I was a kid. Espically those giant tomatos. =p

  • the spider in that level is always fun to battle.

  • Very nice rendition of this great theme.

Can you upload the Fungi Forest mill theme? The one where you play as Tiny before you fight the spider.

  • This sounds almost exactlly like the magic round about song with about 1 or 2 notes off the end missing =S

  • Rare really did have their own style of music. And I love it!

  • any idea where you found this man?

  • I miss Rare, all my favorite games are thier's. Diddy Kong Racing DK 64 Banjo Kazooie and Tooie. Nintendo should have them make a new games...

  • Yeah...you can DEFINITELY tell the people who made the music for Banjo-Kazooie did the music for this, too.

  • It makes me all nostalgic.

  • I love this song!!! It's so peaceful and calm.

  • NIce!!

  • This song is awesome!

  • anyone know who composed the music in the series?

  • Grant Kirkhope.

He also composed the music for Banjo-kazooie and Tooie.

  • How did you get this!

  • Best Nostalgic Game: DONKEY KONG 64 and BANJO-KAZOOIE!

  • yes thank you for putting this on!

  • hey are you gonna post any donkey kong country 3 songs?

  • i'll be posting DKC3 songs soon.

  • i wonder, what ever followed Dk64?

I mean, there was DKC, DKC 2, DKC 3, DK64, and then what? o.o

  • Hopefully another DK platformer is still in the works for Wii!

  • i love all the songs you put on here!! thanks so much for them all!
