Doesn't work. 9 out of 10 Internet Filters can detect sites such as the one mentioned under the category of 'Remote Proxies.' The only reliable way to get past a filter is to create your own proxy server. Pinging websites using only CMD is also complete bullshit. Trust me guys, its not as easy as just going to a website to get past a filter.

Different filters have different weaknesses. In starbuck's case, they have a filter that bans a sites name and ip.

bypassing filters is similar for all os's. If it doesn't work for you then unfortunately your school has a good filter.

bablelfish is the only one that works on my computer, i have a filter called integrity online. bablelfish makes links into random characters, so i can't tell see what i want to click on. :(

that's integrity trying to "protect" you. Babelfish doesn't make links into random characters. My parents put integrity on my computer and I simply did system restore. You may be able to uninstall via control panel if they don't have the latest version. In my case I deleted the integrity registry files but that's kind of risky.

you would have to start a search of any word with integrity in it. I wouldn't suggest messing with it if you don't know how to do it. It's risky. (Try installing firefox or use system restore, integrity didn't work with firefox when we had it.)
