  • to see the racism of ron paul, watch "the compassion of dr ron paul"

  • @tao123chi being required by the military to treat black service members at a massive airfield during the vietnam war doesn't really count towards compassion nor does trying to pretend you're responsible for CHAMPUS

it should probably tell you something about your candidate when they're taking credit for things they had no control over and were dictated a federal healthcare bill that as passed in 1966

  • @tao123chi fyi "newport" is is arkansas. they did such a good job of hiding the fact that it was being done through the military until they had him mention how they called the "newport police department"

of course ron paul would have been court marshaled if he had refused to treat that guy's wife....

  • Pure unadulterated crap

Nothing but fabricated lies. Video claims Ron Paul wrote these newsletters when there is zero evidence to support this. Statements fromn said newsletters taken out of context.

These newsletters have been around for over 20 years and each and every time Ron Paul has run for public office they are brought up to try and discredit him. It didn't work then and it sure as hell isn't working now. People are not falling for this nonsense.

  • The head of the NAACP has come out in support of Paul stating that he is NO Racist.

To have the positions and beliefs that Ron has about civil liberties and freedom there is simply no way you could be racist. The fact that you people think he is only proves that you have no mind and are incapable of thinking for yourselves.

It's time to turn off your Televisions, & Stop listening to those filling your heads with propaganda and the same old party lines.

  • Look at studies, blacks do commit more "crimes" blacks are generally less likely to be libertarian, blacks on average run faster, more than 50% of black americans can't swim, if facts are racist then oppinions are evil.

  • Romney/Rubio 2012.

I appreciate the false choice of GOP/Democrats, which simply continue the destructive monetary and foreign policies. However, Ron Paul's conspirationist, anti-American and anti-semitic tendencies just overwhelm the good.

As for my choice of Mitt Romney: Mitt is the man America calls upon when things need fixing, from the Olympics to companies, and he has a proven track-record of success.

Mitt fixes problems, we got 'em!

As for Rubio: Florida, young, Tea Partier & hispanic.

  • @USA4July1776 If you think Mitt is going to change anything you are in for a rude awakening. Mitt is bought and paid for by the same people who have been run this country into the ground. The same people who supported Old Man Bush, Clinton, Young Bush, Obama, etc. Will be there supporting Mitt if he becomes President.

Of course that will never happen because he simply doesn't have the support to beat Obama but none of that matters anyways. TPTB will still have their puppet

  • @USA4July1776 People like you are the reason why I keep myself armed and ready to roll.

  • @OurOxygen "People like me"? You mean pro-Second Amendment conservative patriots who happen to be officers in the US Army?

  • @USA4July1776 Not your service as an officer or your pro second amendment stance but your pro Romney and pro status quo.

  • I just reported on this myself...I also am opposed to Paul and make video exposing him.

    /watch?v=Tr4yOHr37Vs

  • Looking at the older comments I have something to say, sense it is his video and YouTube gives him the right to disable the rating he has the right to do so. By attacking his right in a way your becoming a hypocrite.

  • So I go and try to look up these quotes and I cant find them, the issues of the item on the date given have nothing to do with Paul on the few I found. This is random bull that has no factual base.

  • OK, this is just a series of quotes with some creepy background music? It seems silly for it to be a video instead of a much more accessible webpage.

  • you do know that it was debunked in 2008 that Ron Paul did not write these letters?

  • Go Ron Paul!! Ron Paul is antithetical to racism (if you actually study what he believes in and who his inspirations were) only ignorant people try to use ad hominem attacks to paint this man as anything but a genius and principled man, he has said the same thing for 30 years "typical American I'm smart because I exist I do not need to read books" as a American let me tell you I needed to read books (all of which wont show up as required reading in our scholastic system)

  • I share a lot of people's disgust over the racist newsletters. But, being biracial & having dealt with racism from "both sides," I learned to spot a bigot when I hear & see one. Paul isn't a bigot. As for the arguments about what racists support him: So What? There are people of polar opposite views & beliefs all supporting him for the same reason. Paul isn't perfect, but I believe him to be a decent & honest human being. That's more than I can say about any other GOP candidate.

  • Thumbs down

  • 0:55 Paul is saying that the criminal justice system is ineffective because it makes one ASSUME that 95% of black males are semi-criminal or entirely criminal. He's actually defending black males in this comment, this is obvious.

  • This is false information, so... FUCK YOU!

  • Sorry mate, your wrong. The NAACP President confirmed it.

  • it's easy to spot a shit video because they disable ratings

  • @TheRedPiIl - It's easy to spot an ignoramus when they comment on ratings instead of substantive matters.

  • @Vote3rdParty what's the matter, couldn't your frail ego handle all the dislikes?

  • @TheRedPiIl , Exactly...

  • @TheRedPiIl lol very true, censorship is the beginning of bullshit. comments pending approvcal are another sign of a censoring bullshitter!

  • @boxermaf - Not allowing ratings isn't censorship Paultard. Censorship would be deleting your comments. You can write in your comment that you don't like the video. :) No censorship here. But I do like watching you Paultards squirm.

  • Wrong Paul is still running as a Right Winger, Just remember that you fucking PaulDrones!

  • Obama is ashamed of his white grandmother and mother. Obama is a racist. So where's the problem? Obama got elected in spite of that. The unruly, violent. loud-mouthed "Left" is not bothered by black racism. The majority, enhanced by ACORN, New Black Panthers, etc. voted for CHANGE. YOU GOT IT!

  • @Hammered001 - So if a black person is ashamed of their black parents for any reason they not hate their own race? Wow. What flawed logic. A word of advice, turn off FOX News. Your corporate masters are really damaging your critical thinking skills. ACORN doesn't even exist anymore. What's really racist is that you changed the subject from Ron Paul admitting to being racist to the first black person that comes to mind that you hate and to a group that helps poor black people. Troll...

  • @Vote3rdParty I don't need your advice. I don't watch mainstream news. You may disagree if you want, but sounds like denial of irrefutable facts, to me. My "corporate masters" are yours as well. like it or not. For the most part, I despise ALL politicians regardless of race, sex, sexual preference, or political party affiliation. That means I'm no racist. Is it possible that YOUR anger and hate have obscured your ability to see the truth? I never called you any childish names.

  • @Hammered001 - You're not fooling anyone. The fact you brought up ACORN proves your just another FOX Newsite living in his own world. If you're not racist why are you attacking a group that helps poor black people and ignoring the global corporations which are screwing the entire world? Why are you changing the subject away from Paul's racism to Barack Obama's racism which doesn't exist?

  • @Vote3rdParty Blah, blah, blah! Would you believe I have better things to do than converse with you? I thought you were blocked. Now, please just stay away from me. You are so intuitive. Therefore you should understand I can't be converted. Why waste time and energy? You have an abundance of weaklings ready and willing to join you. They long for your attention and vision. I shall ignore all further contacts from you until we should meet PERSONALLY.

  • @Hammered001 - Then stop talking. It's that easy is you don't wish to talk to me. Remember, ACORN is hiding in your closet, and the Black Panthers are underneath your bed! The corporations are the only ones that can save you! LOL...

  • I didn't see a confession of having written the letters in question, you are a liar.

That's why the ratings for this video have been disabled...

  • @klscott5 - I'm sorry you are illiterate. Maybe attend an English course and watch the video later?

  • @Vote3rdParty , Prove it, allow ratings.

  • @klscott5 - Explain how ratings proves anything, ignoramus?

  • @Vote3rdParty , Allowing ratings would explain how alone you are in your opinions. Has Paul confessed to writing or even authorizing the letters? You probably think we should have invaded Iraq, Afgan, Lybia, without provocation too. Do you always use insults as a tool for debate? It doesn't matter though, they're as dull as you are...

  • @klscott5 - All that would explain is that you have failed logic. Nobody gives a shit about Ron Paul expect his supporters, so mostly Paul supporters click on my videos. It doesn't matter whether or not the criticism of Paul is substantive or not, they will dislike the video. Here's a challenge. Link one video to me that criticizes Ron Paul that doesn't hasn't had it's ratings cluster-fucked by crazy cultists. You criticize ratings because you can't attack the video.

  • @Vote3rdParty . Are you dickslicksit? EXCEPT. I can criticize your spelling. Even I've found spell-check.

  • Go back 30 years and read articles where Ron Paul praises Martin Luther King for his peaceful demonstrations and how Ron Paul has always been a big fan of Gandhi. One thing about Ron Paul is that he says whats on his mind and hasn't been coached in speaking sound bites like all the other slick politicians. He tells the truth and doesn't care if you agree with him or not.

  • @magentawave - He is a Paulitician. He calls MLK a "communist philanthropist" and calls MLK holiday "hate whitey day" in his 90's newsletters after he left the Republican Party because Reagan compromised with Democrats. The very newsletters he admits to writing in this video. Paul is truthful 90% of time. He lies a lot about the founding fathers, religion, race, and homosexuality.

  • @Vote3rdParty - If he hadn't been consistent with what he's been saying publicly and the way he's been voting for 30 years (unlike all other politicians on the right and left) then I might believe what you are saying Those newsletters were written by someone else and when he discovered what was being written under his name he fired them.

It was the wreckless military spending that caused Ron Paul to leave the republicrat party under Reagan and run as a Libertarian.

  • @magentawave - No, he left the Republican Party because Reagan increased taxes 11 times and tripled the deficit.

Please post your source that Paul fired the "ghost writer." Paul has stated publicly as of 2001 that he didn't know who wrote them. In 1996 he admitted to writing them on several occasions and nearly lost his campaign. Why would Paul admit to writing them if he did not write them?

  • @Vote3rdParty - Well that is what I meant by "wreckless military spending" which required raising taxes and the tripling of the deficit, all of which was/is anathema to a Libertarian like Ron Paul.

I don't have a source for him firing the ghost writer but have seen numerous sources (mostly videos) of him praising MLK for his peaceful demonstrations going back many years. I've seen and read too much stuff he has said that conflicts with what was written which is why I don't believe he is racist

  • @Vote3rdParty - RP is a staunch Libertarian and the Libertarian philosophy is basically you can do whatever you choose as long as you don't harm another. Under Libertarianism you don't segregate people nor do you give them special treatment.

  • I don't see how that is at all technically racist.

  • @brodi81 - Racists can't see racism.

  • @Vote3rdParty - So you're calling brodi81 a racist for only saying that he didn't see how the video was racist? Or did the guy say something previous to that for you to say that about him/her? I don't see the video as being the least bit racist and I don't give a rats ass what color anyone is. I only care about, as MLK said, "the content of their character."

  • @magentawave - So saying black men are swift after stealing women's women's purses isn't racist? Don't all robbers run fast after stealing purses? LOL! Falsely stating that 95% of blacks are criminal in D.C. isn't racist? Looks like you're also a racist yourself if you can't see that those are BLATANT racist stereotypes.

  • @Vote3rdParty - Those things are racist but I'm willing to believe RP because:

    a) His many statements dealing with equal rights before those were written.

    b) No one if my life has worked so tirelessly to protect our liberty like RP.

    c) Doctors that deliver babies work insane schedules so its entirely possible he let someone write on his behalf and didn't know what was being written.

    d) He's the only one advocating radical change and because of that the establishment is focused on destroying him

  • @magentawave - The founding fathers put life and liberty into the constitution while they enslaves and and tortured blacks. Hitler said he was for peace while starting WWII. You're saying it's not possible that Ron Paul is racist because of his political rhetoric? Paul admitted to writing the newsletters. What more can one want? Ron Paul is not for radical change he is against campaign finance reform, the main reason for corruption in Washington. He is also running as a Republican.

  • besides, regardless of what he thinks, his political stance is that states should decide their own laws. he's not going to become president and then start discriminating against gays or blacks, he's going to focus on abolishing the fed, ending war, reviving the constitution, ending the drug war, and letting the states make their own laws. he's the best candidate we've seen since jfk.

for once it's actually worth voting, and you want to stop it because of ghost writers and out of context quotes.

  • you're taking all this out of context. ron paul wants what's best for black people, and what's best is not to baby ANY race with special treatment - black history month, BET, mandated hiring preferences, set-asides for government contracts, gerrymandered voting districts, black bureaucracies, black curricula in schools, hate crime laws, etc. equal treatment means everyone's equal.

if you just stick to quoting one sentence, phrase, or even one word at a time, you're always oversimplifying.

  • @thejustineaster - Nothing is taken out of context and you know it. Those laws promote equal treatment not special treatment. I would support the same policies if it was white people FORCED into poverty a black or latino majority. And you're complaining about BET? Unreal! Most channels can be classifies as white entertainment television. You always know someone is a bigot when they refer to equal rights as "special treatment."

  • @Vote3rdParty see youtube video: "RON PAUL FORCEFULLY RESPONDS TO RACIST RUMORS."

no, those aren't his words, and yes, they are out of context.

    this isn't rocket science, man.

  • @thejustineaster - OMG! That's definitive proof! How did you find that?! A POLITICIAN denying he is racist? NO fucking WAY? Can't be! LOL...

When you find some actual proof he didn't write them let me know. If not, stop wasting my time and taking up my comment section.

Also, please add context to the quotes you say are taken out of context. There are much more racism in the newsletters than is covered in this video.

    watch?v=t4P87p-Arcw

  • Seems to me that we have a case of what is TRUE is not always politically correct or easy to hear, and as such it is has simply become too easy to cry out "RACISM!" as a defense. Sorry, but there is nothing racist against this. Does Paul say "I hate niggers, I hate people with black skin!" No? No. Then he is not racist, he simply is not very sensitive or politically correct. Boo hoo.

  • @Jaenus80 - No he doesn't say he hates blacks people, just makes up fake statistics, uses stereotypes, and calls blacks "animals" and "racial terrorists" - what Ron Paul supporters would call "the truth."

And the saddest part is that you don't see stereotyping or making up lies about blacks as racist. You want me to get into what Paul said about gays?

  • @ vote3rdparty: You don't even pay attention to your own video! He took that statistic from the Study produced by "the National Center on Incarceration and Alternatives, a criminal justice think tank based in Virginia." --- In other words, they aren't his words, but rather of those in the think tank. He was merely quoting from their conclusions.

  • @MTPatriot1 - "the National Center on Incarceration and Alternatives, a criminal justice think tank based in Virginia"

I looked up this "think tank." Couldn't find anything that wasn't related to Ron Paul's racist and homophobic newsletters. Is the fact he is citing BOGUS statistics proof that he's not a racist to you? What about his comment that blacks males are "fleet-footed" after stealing purses. He also called blacks "animals."

  • and the fastest man in the world is Black!! that's not racist.. that's just a fact

  • i smell a douche and his name is vote3rdparty!!!

  • @trollaccnt - You weren't debating, you were TROLLING. Big difference. Next time you decide to comment on someone's videos try actually responding to content of that video instead of "attacking the messenger."

  • @vote3rdparty Where are the thumbs!? Or is this just a trollfest by your own rules.

  • @thejoolien - Do you even know what a troll is? You are trolling as we speak because you are not addressing the content of the video.

  • ☑ First they ignore you (Pre-2007).

☑ Then they laugh at you (2007-2008).

☑ Then they fight you (2008-2011).

    ☐ Then you win.

Join the R3volution, Ron Paul 2012.

  • @Kanzer7 - "Then they laugh at you (2007-2008)"

    Actually we're all still laughing.

  • Ron Paul knows how fast black men are because he ran track with several while going to school. Ron Paul is a track STAR. Black people have strong legs that allow for swiftness. Does this make anyone who points it out, RACIST?

  • @thejoolien - You're purposely ignoring the part where Paul says blacks are "fleet footed" after stealing women's purses. If you can't see the racism in that, then you are racist as well. What about the part of the newsletter where Ron Paul calls blacks racial terrorists? Is that not racist either by Paulite logic?

  • @Vote3rdParty Sounds to me like something taken out of cntext. Possbly refering to the crime rate of blacks. Blacks have a larger crime rate that is relative to their poverty rate. Is it racist to tlk about poverty? Pointing out tht only 5% of blacks have a political opinion is not racist, its fact. Even if he was somehow prejudice of blacks, he doesn't believe the Federal government has any place in enforcing a drug war. This means NO MORE POLICE OPPRESSION if your state agrees.

  • @thejoolien - So if I make up statistics saying that 95% of blacks are criminal without providing any evidence that's not racist? Wow, Paul supporters are just as racist as Paul is. You can't see blatant racism when it's right in front of you. How about when Ron Paul calls blacks "animals"? Can you provide context for that?

  • @thejoolien - So if I make up statistics saying that 95% of blacks are criminal without providing any evidence that's not racist? Wow, Paul supporters are just as racist as Paul is. You can't see blatant racism when it's right in front of you. How about when Ron Paul calls blacks "animals"? Can you provide context for that?

  • @Vote3rdParty This election isn't ABOUT RACISM get over yourself. YOU are the troll because you didn't even READ the newsletter these quotes were taken from. So Yes, I'm a troll because i refuse to acknowledge your propaganda. And Yes, you are also a troll which makes this a trollfest by your own rules. Ron Paul's policies will only help blacks get OUT of poverty and OUT of jail! Try debating that and we can turn this into something respectable. Use your brain, not your feeling of inadequacy.

  • @thejoolien - A troll is someone that changes the subject. Again, look up what a troll is. I have read the newsletters in their entirety. It only gets worse as you read on. You haven't pointed out how anything that I've said is propaganda. Try using some facts or statistics in your next argument. Maybe some Paul quotes in their entirety, if you really believe that his bigotry is not racist.

  • @thejoolien Yep, you're a racist.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - So since the state only rules over a portion of America, and not the entire world, it's not a monopoly? A single business could be the only business employing nearly an entire community, especially in very rural areas and third world countries. I view that as a monopoly.

  • Oh yeah and Obama should be the end of black paranoia. The race issue should be obsolete but interesting how some don't want to stop using the victim angle. Once you are no longer a victim what you do repesents you not what you say. What a concept telling the tuth ! The geneal public seems to fear honesty !!

  • @trustinstinct - Race is not obsolete. The KKK, still exists, not only the actually group but in form of the Tea Party. Stormfront, NeoConfederates,Neo-Nazis, and far-right extremist militia groups still exist. We have James Poplowski a fan of Alex Jones and Stormfront, who ambushed and killed 3 police officers and believed a "race war" coming.

  • What a lie! Ron Paul is a great man and you are stooping low. Trying to play the racist card because he is being honest and Obama is working for Wall Street. Wake up this has nothing to do with race, evill people are misleading you. Obama was a step in the right direction whch has been a massive disappointment. Take it one step further and vote for Paul. Obama would !

  • @trustinstinct - What's a lie? The FACT Paul admitted to writing blatantly homophobic and racist newsletters? Nope, that's 100% true. He admitted to writing them in 1996. Find me ONE quote where Ron Paul denies writing the newsletters in 1996.

  • The thing about black criminals has been misinterpreted.

Isn't it obvious that he's saying the federal government TREATS 95% of blacks like criminals?

Or are you just a fucking bitch?

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - He didn't say "treats," you just pulled that straight from your cornhole. That's purely an assumption that has no factual basis.

"These aren't my figures," Dr. Paul said Tuesday. "That is the assumption you can gather from" the report." -Dallas Morning News, May 22, 1996

Looks like your the bitch.... bitch. Do you have an explanation for these quotes?

    /watch?v=1XuLZoUfVpA

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress

Paul said "Given the inefficiencies of what DC laughingly calls the criminal justice system, I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."

The first segment of that sentence intends to point out that DC's vision of the criminal justice system is a joke. It would appear obvious that he thinks the government has too stringent a definition of crime, which would mean that law enforcement is too harsh on

  • blacks.

I never said that Paul used the word "treats", that's why I didn't put it in quotes. It's an undeniable fact that blacks commit violent crime out of proportion to their numbers, and the federal government's broad definition of what constitutes crime exacerbates this problem. I think this was what Paul intended to say, although he probably didn't do it as tactfully as he hoped.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - Please post a quote where Paul insinuates that the government "treats 95% of blacks like criminals." "Free" market socioeconomic policy is what causes crime out of proportion among the black population. We don't have a policy in this country that you have a RIGHT to a job, healthcare, and to education. Not to mention racist white people have the monopoly over most of the "private property," and don't hire minorities.

  • @Vote3rdParty

    You wish.

We don’t have a policy in this country that you have the right to a job, healthcare, and education because those things are all limited in supply. In the absence of actual economic growth, each of those can only become widespread by either decreasing their quality or by rationing.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - Those who have health insurance already pay for each other's health care. That's what insurance does. Single-payer will be cheaper because it eliminates the profit and the high executive costs, encourages preventative care, and better allow us to directly bargain for fair costs of drugs, eliminating the middle man. If everyone had a job economic activity would be much higher because the middle class spends their money as opposed to sitting on it.

  • @Vote3rdParty

Obamacare prefers insured people over uninsured people. While Michelle Obama worked at the University of Chicago hospital, the uninsured literally had to give up their hospital beds for insured people.

Single-payer might be cheaper, but certainly not because it does not eliminate profit. There is always a profit incentive in government-managed enterprises, because taxpayers never want their money tied to companies that are going under.

  • I support single-payer, but I support it only when everyone involved consents to it, and especially when it is localized.

“If everyone had a job economic activity would be much higher...” But you also oppose people earning less than the minimum wage. So that means you want everyone to have a job, but if they pick a shitty job, you want to take that away from them.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - How is having a job as a right, taking away a job? That's the exact opposite of what I'm arguing.

If you want to have a private sector bureaucrat between you and your doctor and higher cost of health insurance that's your right. But single-payer should be something every single person has access to.

  • @Vote3rdParty

You can put a man to work digging a hole and refilling it over and over, and he'll earn a wage, but nothing is being accomplished. You can replace a machine with a man who does the same job, but there's no guarantee that the man will do the job better than the machine.

There is no right to have a job if jobs aren't available. If you want to use the law to create jobs when they aren't available, it will cost money, and it will drain the wealth of the rest of the economy.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress

If you want to create jobs in a stagnant economy, you have to lower standards of safety, decrease health benefits, decrease pay, decrease working conditions, decrease negotiation rights, et cetera.

When there is scarcity of resources and / or a stagnant economy, you can't increase the number of employed people without diminishing the quality of the benefits related to those jobs.

Republicans and Democrats just have different things they'd like to see sacrificed first.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - The government can create jobs and start it's own businesses. Fuck the unaccountable private sector. Creating jobs has never hurt an economy in the history of this planet. Spending can hurt the economy, if it's the forms of tax cuts and "national defense". Reagan learned that his first term. That's why governed as a pro-tax "socialist" in his second.

  • I agree that the unaccountable private sector should fuck itself, but I feel that it’s the government that makes the private sector unaccountable. Under social and economic freedom, private enterprise is accountable to consumers. Government grants monopoly power to private enterprises, because the government is the originator of monopoly power, as evidenced by the fact that we can’t choose to pledge loyalty to another government in an area in which the monopolistic government already operates.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - Businesses are accountable to consumers, but not to workers. That's why unions are key. Ideally, the unions would run the whole business, and eliminate the private sector bureaucrat between the workers and the market. And the private sector isn't unaccountable because of gov, it's the reserve. Follow the money, our elected officials are bought. Campaign finance reform, which Ron Paul opposes, would have solved this catastrophe. Citizens United doesn't help either.

  • Ideally, under a government based on consent, there would be enough economic and social freedom where people would legally and morally be able to stop businesses from opening near them, or else charge them (“taxes”) for the right to conduct business near them.

  • I’ve had to distance myself from Reagan a bit in the last week, because there was better growth under Carter than under Reagan, and also Reagan let Bush Sr. play him like a chump. Maybe some of that was Reagan’s fault, I don’t know. I feel like Bush Sr. was the asshole, because Reagan was after all a Goldwater supporter for a good while.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - Reagan is a mythological figure in the Republican Party. He would probably be kicked out of the Party today, because he believed in compromising with democrats. You should look up Christopher Hitchen's criticism of Reagan. He pretty much sums up his presidency.

  • I agree that creating jobs doesn’t hurt economies, but I’d point out that it does tend to hurt the quality of other jobs in the given society if and when that job creation is done through laws like the minimum wage and health insurance mandates for private businesses.

BTW, sorry for calling you a bitch. I tend to do that from time to time, and I never expected this to be a civil conversation. You appear to have some clue as to what you're talking about.

But we got off topic. Racism?

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress - It won't hurt the quality of jobs if regulate and make laws. I can't defend insurance mandates on businesses because I'm for single payer, but it's better than the wage slaves having to pay.

  • @JoeKopsick4Congress -Those who have health insurance already pay for each other's health care.

  • Where 's the link you say there is to back up these racist slurs ? Is is the rason.com blog ? I want to see an article in a newspaper or hear it out of his own mouth - if he really admitted to being a racist and saying those things, I find it totally out of character from what he says from all I have heard. I'm not doubting you but I need more proof .

  • @doogleandalix - Even if I had a video, by Paultard logic it could be a clone. Video is not proof of anything! lol... You Paulbots will say anything to defend "the one." You seriously want me to find the actual newspaper and send it by mail? You're a whackjob. If the direct passages that were "made up" Paul would have filed a lawsuit by now for slander, and would have won. This article has been up for years. Paul admitted to writing the newsletters. END OF STORY. Move on with your life.

  • @Vote3rdPartyA video with him talking - denying or admitting , is more proof that just words written down on a blog or your say-so. I did check and in videos on here he does deny knowledge of who wrote the articles in the newsletter and denies that those are his sentiments. I'm not saying that totally absolves him because he should have been aware of what was in newsletters with his name on it - but I don;t consider that proof he wrote it . Maybe I am naive but I don't see him as a racist .

  • @doogleandalix - So you expect a POLITICIAN who wants to be elected president to say "yes, I wrote those newsletters calling blacks animals?" Not going to happen. But I didn't make this video to convince Ron Paul cultists, just everyday people. Truth is, Paul campaigned on the fact he wrote the newsletters. Every interview he gave, he admitted to writing them. You don't have any proof otherwise. Show me ONE article from 1996 where Paul denies writing them. Doesn't exist. :)

    Fail...

  • @Vote3rdParty Well, since this is the first I heard of it from your video , I have no proof at all . Obviously, neither does he that he did not write them . Are you saying he campaigned for Congress on the basis that he did write those newsletters ? I'll have to see if I can fink a link to any article /interview where he admits writing them. There is a video on here where he denies writing them in an interview with Wolf Blitzer .

  • @doogleandalix - Did you not even watch this video? Did you not read the ENTIRE Reason article linked from this very video? I thought you had read it earlier, but clearly didn't do so. Paul admits to several newspapers that he wrote the racist newsletters.

That video is from 2008, when he was running for president. No presidential candidate today would EVER admit to being racist. Find me a video/article from the 90's where he denies writing them.

  • Great video and you did a good job debating the Ron Paul supporters who were trolling your page. The name of his newsletter was the "Ron Paul Political Report" how could he claim that he did not know where the writings came from?? He obviously thinks people are stupid, therefore his supporters are either not very smart or are just as racist as he is. Someone who has such antipathy towards an entire group of people just because of the actions of a few has serious psychological issues.

  • I've had to break it to my friends that you convinced me of Ron's racism. But what I said to them is that they shouldn't be surprised. He's an old man from a southern state. Hell, I live in Canada and there are a ton of racists around here.

Why can't people stop deifying Ron Paul and see that he has good and bad points? There's no need for them to claim he's a perfect candidate in order to justify supporting him.

Talk about a movement that has become fanatical.

  • @PurpleHoneyBear - You should watch the video that is a response to this video "Ron Paul: The Deep Dark Details" if you haven't already. It examines Paul with a microscope.

The whole right-libertarian movement is a fascist movement in my opinion. They don't know it is, and are for the most part well-intended, but they use revolutionary sounding rhetoric to promote ideals that serve the plutocracy. Ron Paul held the first Tea Party protest, and apparently the corporations liked the message.

  • @gettheredone - So your claim is that the newspapers made up Ron Paul's responses, yet Ron Paul has never stated this himself or filed a lawsuit for slander? This would have been a huge controversy. Get Ron Paul to say that himself, that all the Texas newspapers slandered him and I will believe you. As of now, all you have is conspiracy theories, and I have actual statements from Paul and his spokesman. You have no evidence to back your claims.

  • @gettheredone - I can't help you if you don't know how to read. Maybe try actually watching this video and reading the statements of Ron Paul himself and his spokesperson? You've already indicated you've visited my source bellow the video, so you have the proof already. Literally every time he was asked about the newsletters while running for congress in '96 he admitted to writing them. He even says more racist statements while being interviewed on the newsletters!

  • @gettheredone - "prominent members in the black community have stood beside his character."

"Members"? That's one individual from the NAACP. And In this very video Paul takes a shot at the NAACP. Looks like Paul doesn't respect the NAACP as much as Nelson Linder respects him.

  • @gettheredone - He did not take moral responsibility, quite the contrary. He said the media was taking HIS writings, yes, HIS writings out of context. Re-watch the very video you are commenting on. He even says racist statements in his defense. That only about 5% of blacks have "sensible political positions." That's hardly taking responsibility. He has denied writing them since 2001 when he found it politically expedient to do so.

  • @gettheredone - Yes, you are missing a lot. More newsletters were found in 2001, and that's when Paul changed his story to "it was a ghost writer" because his racist writings were too hard to defend politically. In '96 only a few had been found, so those were the ones that were discussed.

  • Paul here is using false information to attack Blacks. The Washington Post reported that 1000 people were arrested but did not indicate their race. The riot, like most sports riots was multi-racial, including Blacks, white and Latinos, yet Paul used the incident to demonize Blacks. The Washington Post also reported that two officers suffered minor gunshot wounds and that 95 were injured in total, but the way Paul phrased it, it would seem most of the 95 officers injured were shot.

  • When activists suggested naming a city after Martin Luther King Paul suggested other names such as “Welfaria,” “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” “Dirtburg,” and “Lazyopolis.”

  • @gettheredone - He also claimed there was an "epidemic" of young black women purposely "needlin" white women to infect them with AIDS. He also said AIDS should be renamed GRIDS, the "Gay Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome". Research shows there is no such "needlin" epidemic. If there was, please post your source. Please also post your statistics that show blacks are "animals" as Paul says, LOL! Not going to find any factual basis for that racist comment! Nothing Paul said has a factual basis.

  • @gettheredone - I just want to get this straight. You think Paul's false comment that "95% of blacks" are "criminals" and "animals", intellectualism? I guess one person's intellectual is another man's idiot, even though most have Paul's comments in the political report have no factual basis.

  • Seems like one COMMENT might be taken out of context, but not THAT many...

Paul seems to be a RACIST to me... If the Shoe fits Ron...

I wonder WHY the ratings have been disabled for this video? The PAUL bearers couldn't bear to see the TRUTH of what people REALLY thought of their candidate?

  • The NSA-government-paid-Federal-Reserve-oligarchy-plutocracy trolls are apparently alive and well. Your pathetic attempts to smear a great man will fail. Whatever petty bs you get for selling out your progeny's future is nothing. You are a lying dunce. You obviously disabled the ratings because there aren't enough trolls and fools to to stem the tide of awakening, lovers-of-humanity, Ron Paul Appreciators. Ron Paul, like Thomas Jefferson, will live forever in the hearts of Freedom lovers.

  • @carolinequarrier - Thank you for that! I didn't know someone could post so many judgements and labels in a single paragraph. But it's very telling from a psychological standpoint.

Paul only loves freedom for rich white straight christian males. He embraces the economic policies of the 17 & early 1800's for a reason! Care to address Ron Paul's admission to writing the newsletters, which is what this video is about. Ratings are irrelevant, but nice attempt to avoid addressing the actual video.

  • @Vote3rdParty Ron Paul wants freedom and liberty for all. Quit spreading your propaganda and open your eyes to the truth...

  • @ABadHorsie - Please do not comment unless you are addressing the video. No one wants to hear your whining. The only propaganda here is from RP.

    /watch?v=7ITovCRQ3kA

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • @Ikeula75 - No prob man. Spread the word!

  • @RationalBullets I saw your comments on TheAntiAuthoritarian's channel as well. Attack the video when you can't attack the message. Thanks for showing that you are 1) a complete moron for not reading Paul's admissions in this very video, and 2) are a racist for not being able to comprehend just how bigoted your own views are. Paul also calls blacks "animals" and "racial terrorists" in the newsletters. Is that racist enough for you?

  • @Vote3rdParty He didn't admit to shit. Just because you write "here he admits to writing this" next to a quote of his, doesn't mean that the quote is an admission of anything. And thanks for race baiting, but that's to be expected when your a fat, stupid dishonest lazy socialist whose most difficult life task has been writing a term paper for a sociology course at community college. A waste of two minutes.

  • @DERPliberalDERP - It's Paul that was race-baiting in his racist newsletters. I'm just pointing out his race baiting. Did you not even watch the very video you are commenting on? It's Paul's very own statements admitting to writing the newsletters. You clearly have deep psychological problems since you spew hate in every comment. No wonder you believe everything the sheeple herders say.

  • @Vote3rdParty Why would all of this have been disclosed in 1996, and not prior to? It just isn't realistic. He's denied having anything to do with it, just drop it already.

And either way, I'd rather have a racist president than a president who condones the slaughter of upwards of a million innocent civilians in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

  • @mrmailmandudebro - It was all disclosed. Democrat Lefty Morris made it a major part of his 1996 campaign. Ron Paul ran on the fact the he wrote the newsletters. And in a place like Texas, it probably helped Paul. Then conveniently, in 2001 Paul changed his story "it was a ghostwriter." Perhaps because of his presidential ambitions? It's amazing how many of Paul's sheep don't know anything about the "the one."

No one said vote Obama... but none of the Republicans are acceptable either.

  • @Vote3rdParty Evidence/links or it didn't happen. I've done a search to no avail.

  • @mrmailmandudebro - It's right under the video.

  • anyone know what this song is? =D

  • @NOHANDBILLS - "Odd Paws" by Bibio from "Vignetting The Compost." The whole album is just as fantastic. Great for smokin' weed and road trips.

  • My bad about the death penatly thing. That newsletter in particular is the only I know of with his name, but he published his own writings in other newsletters and he wasn't even the majority owner of the newsletter. The article about DC according to RP's ppl was probly written by Lew Rockwell but was anonymous. Ron Paul was a congressman and medical dr., during this newsletter, he wasn't providing oversight to this newsletter nor did he have the time. Guilt by association leaves us all guilty.
