@khazal12 If you didnt notice half the time in his rear naked choke taylor had his chin down and mayhem couldnt get his arm properly in. and at other times mayhem positioning wasnt precise. Chokes are more technical than people think.

Obviously I understand that technique is key, but seriously he had his forearm underneath the chin (3:17) so with the proper squeeze it would've been a windpipe crush since it wasn't cutting off the carotid arteries but was over the front of the windpipe. 3:37 he adjusts and was over the carotids (which is why he went blue). Sometimes the technique is perfect, he just needs more squeeze.
