  • And there I was last week (Nov 27th 2009)

sitting in the exact spot seeing once again a son graduate and wishing that I had the nerve to film the same piece! Congratulations to them both for making me feel such a proud father. (And yes, they both got Firsts!)

Thought the whole ceremony, especially the music under the direction of Professor Hancox MBE, was exceptional. Well done Christ Church University.

    Stockholm Dec. 2009

  • Too bad you don't listen to your teacher. It's a cathedral and it's worthy of all of the hype. Such a sight to behold.

  • And what are you? A filthy Roman Catholic PIG?

  • Wow, no I'm not Roman Catholic. However, a lot of netherland people are. Good knowledge.

PIG? Apparently, 1.1 Billion people are pigs to you. That's a dumb thought :)

  • No, a dumb thought it what you said about Episcopalians. Be careful what you say about "bombing churches" or maybe the FBI will come knocking on your door to ask you questions :-)

  • @summerinthecity09 Don't b mean. There's enough hatred in the world, we don't need anymore.

  • WTF?!?! we didin't sing the national anthem today and we're UKC - we're a proper uni! PLUS you got better robes than us! what's going on!??!

  • I agree with whatever you say But ours is better!

  • i love the friendly rivalry between our unis, it's great :)

  • i jack off to this video

  • thats funny!

  • lol!

  • then again this isnt UKC graduation is it ?

  • No- Canterbury Christchurch University as in title!

CCU recieved full university status a couple of years ago.

  • i think im probably one of the last years to have graduated at the cathedral :P

these vids bring back memories though -

    reprazent UKC 95-98 :P

  • When did they stop graduations in the cathedral? I graduated there in 2001 & 2002.

  • we were told that our batch was the last, probably BS :P

  • Ah - I have vague recollections of this rumour fling around when I started in 1998, but that it never came to pass.

  • guess they kept the tradition then ;)

  • I've been told that this rumour has flown around at the start of many years. I suspect it's just a way to make the fees charged for guests more acceptable.

  • Do you know where the students graduate now? I am hoping to go there in September to start my 4 year course in BA Primary Education

  • christchurch or ukc ?

  • Christ Church Uni

  • i see, thing is i originally thought it was a ukc graduation, so i shouldnt even be commmenting on this post - confusion :P
