sitting in the exact spot seeing once again a son graduate and wishing that I had the nerve to film the same piece! Congratulations to them both for making me feel such a proud father. (And yes, they both got Firsts!)
Thought the whole ceremony, especially the music under the direction of Professor Hancox MBE, was exceptional. Well done Christ Church University.

Im am so sick of hearing about the Canterbury Church. My english teacher is episcopalian and no one likes her. And she forced us to over analyze the Canturbury Tales book...
She was obviously trying to shove episcopalian stuff down our throats.
To bad some Islamic Extremist is probably going to bomb this church to rubble one day. Sucks for the English. Hundreds of years won't matter one bit.
No, a dumb thought it what you said about Episcopalians. Be careful what you say about "bombing churches" or maybe the FBI will come knocking on your door to ask you questions :-)
I've been told that this rumour has flown around at the start of many years. I suspect it's just a way to make the fees charged for guests more acceptable.
And there I was last week (Nov 27th 2009)

Too bad you don't listen to your teacher. It's a cathedral and it's worthy of all of the hype. Such a sight to behold.

Ah - I have vague recollections of this rumour fling around when I started in 1998, but that it never came to pass.
