Perhaps QuantumSuit Bodyarmor was fixed in an update. It's broken in this video, and it was broken when I was playing in 1.15.

QuantumSuit Bodyarmor sucks. It does nothing. It's completely bugged out and doesn't work at all.

@thejoshwolfe you need to charge it... it's called get off your lazy a and go mine some lapis and make some circuits and craft that crystal and charge it up and make some iridium plates and advanced alloy and make some armor and CHARGE IT WITH ENERGY

@Sno4opy in old versions you had to have Audiomod for all the sounds to work. with IC2 1.15 they have started putting the sounds straight in the mod so that you won't need Audiomod, but they haven't done all the sounds yet so you still need Audiomod for now

What's protecting you from fall damage isn't the body armor, it's the shoes. I do believe the bodysuit is currently bugged in IC 1.15

@FlipDemPancakes dm armor is straightforward; same as other armors just use dark matter and Nano suit is just a really strong armor made from energy crystals and that can be recharged. Similar to a quantumsuit without the special abilities.

@FlipDemPancakes Nano Suit has the same protection as quantum suit, I believe, but no special abilities. Dark Matter suit from EE is basically an invincibility suit that works all the time and lasts for ages. I usually just skip straight to the quantum suit.
