  • Nobody has never conquered Afghanistan. For the last 100 years, the british, the soviet, and now the american have tried. Never succeed.

  • ha mia is langweilig

  • This hurts us Americans too because it makes us look like even bigger assholes, ugh we are so screwed.

  • i want comment about gen john allen somebody want to victim from uj london alexender a military,..then african okpeva jovi ehy thy want get a personal thing's

  • The Soviets were there for a decade or two during the cold war and they had enough sense to withdraw and they were bankrupt at that time as well.

  • No country since Ancient Macedonia has been able to conquer that part of the world and hold on to it.

  • First of all, I don't hate Americans. I actually love Americans as it has contributed an incredible amount of technology to the world and acts as a model country in regards to its stances on racism, etc. However, you gotta consider that the Afghan people did not want you guys to invade their country. That's the point i'm trying to make. Great, you killed Bin Laden and minimized the Taliban but once your mission's over, then it's time to get the hell out.

  • Assume that US is a goat

Saudis holding the goats ear = pushing US to solve Palestine; 911

Tieing the goats rear legs = US invading Afghanistan

Tieing the goats front legs = US invading Iraq

Hanging the goat upside down to a tree = Prologing the wars for 10 years

Cutting the goats throat = controlling oil priice=$100/bl (Oil Sword)

Blood rushing from the goats throat = US economy faltering & loosing jobs

2001-2011 = lost decade to US; blood of big fat goat dripping!!

  • We are at war with Eurasia, we have always been at war with eurasia...

  • Forced nation-building is the 21st century's protectorate mentality.

Branding certain (Always third world) countries "failed" based on Western principes carries on the colonial mentality that certain peoples simply aren't ready, capable, of caring for their homeland.

Sometimes even saying "That's not a country". "Do you have a flag?"

    .

I am disgusted by all forms of religious rule but the reason the U.S invaded was retaliation after 9/11, then they had to bring in Nato etc to clean up the mess.

  • @dave19941000 dave you are an idiot. ive been to afganistan its a fucking war trust me. this "nation building" thing you say it is is pretty much bullshit. its a hell hole and they can have it. theres no reason for the US to be there.uk france germany wanna deal with it i dont give a fuck. we have been there over a decade ive gone 3 times personally its time for america to leave other people the fuck alone and deal with our own shit.

  • why not cenk for president?

  • Has anyone remembered why the US invaded Afghanistan? To liberate their country? To get rid of the Taliban? To kill Bin Laden? Bin Laden's dead, Taliban's power is minimized, and Afghan people definitely don't want you fucks in there. So please, do Afghanistan a favor and GTFO

  • @BlueberryFusion There are areas of Afghanistan which are still heavily contested territory between the government and the Taliban, if NATO just leaves the government forces would at best have a stalemate on their hands. NATO isn't just occupying Afghanistan, we are teaching their military and police force how to do their job, teaching the government how give services and everything else that is to be a state. Before the overthrow of the Taliban it was a failed state.

  • @BlueberryFusion US fucks? your their to moron

  • @bargunner18 Why do you think he live in US?

Also, please ask your english teacher, to give back your money. They've obviously been waisted...

  • @zergmeisterstarcraft i don't know why the fuck lives in the US......o wait he dosen't he lives in canda faggot. You must think your so cool,ITS FUCKING YOUTUBE NOBODY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT GRAMMAR QUITE TROLLING LIL' BITCH!!! Also you say i have bad grammar take a look at your comment ''Why do you think he live in US?'' your's dosen't even make sense. EPIC FUCKING FAIL ,get lost cunt

  • @bargunner18 What the fuck does that even mean? Speak English before you talk idiot. It's there and too you retard. This is why your country is fucked up. It's cause of uneducated fucks like you.

  • @BlueberryFusion DO NOT PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH MOTHERFUCKER! I clearly said ''YOUR their to moron'' meaning YOU are in ''the stan'' in addition to us. Are you that stupid you can't even read a simple sentence? You're the uneducated fuck. Get lost faggot.

  • @bargunner18 Do you not understand that doesn't make any fucking sense as I pointed that out to you? Wtf is "your their to moron?" I don't need to put words in an incomprehensible retard who not only doesn't know how to spell, but is also homophobic, probably cause you're secretly gay.

  • @BlueberryFusion God damn you are dumb. You really can understand my sentence? All it means is your country is in Afganistan to. You are one dumb motherfucker. And no i'm not gay i have a girlfriend. FAIL. How said that that is the only comeback you can come up with. What are you....12? GTFO

  • @bargunner18 I'm dumb? you're the one who can't differentiate between "there" and "their" you fuckin idiot. I finally understood your sentence after reading it 5 fuckin times. How bout you learn to spell before you talk shit you retard. And hey dipshit, I DO LIVE IN CANADA, so why don't you stfu and stop trolling me and other people who are fucking logical and go back to living in your fucking cave.

  • @bargunner18 You clearly don't understand that Canada's there for fuckin peacekeeping and your country's there to exploit others. So how bout you read the fucking news first before you speak

  • @BlueberryFusion news? what fucking news stations are you watching? The only reason were their is to waste the Taliban and Al-Queda,now that the top leaders are KIA i myself am questioning wtf were still doing their. Out of America's entire history i can only think of two wars were we MAYBE were their for exploitaion ,the Mexican war and the Spanish American war. Incase you have'nt noticed we ARE on the same side,so whats with all the hateing? btw what does make you hate americans so much?

  • @bargunner18 You forgot the Iraq war and Vietnam war which had nothing to do with the US. Like in the Vietnam war, it was a dispute between the North Vietnam and South Vietnam and yet the US joined in and participated in killing millions of civilians just like the the Korean war. That's not exploiting, that's sticking your nose in other people's business. The Iraq war, the whole point of the mission was to find nuclear weapons and after the war, they found NOTHING. So what's your justification?

  • @BlueberryFusion We killed millions of people? Do you have any idea how rediculious you sound, we were their to keep our allies democratic,it obviously worked in korea , b/c last time i checked South Korea was democratic. We were trying to do the same in Vietnam but our goverment fucked us over. If we had not intervened in Korea, both S and N Korea would be communist. Also i might add Canada was in both those conflicts, in Military roles, not peace keeping! Stop blaming everything on the US

  • @bargunner18 that's not the fucking point i'm trying to make. The point is the US should stop butting in other people's business. How bout you go to Korea and Vietnam and ask its citizens of what they think of Americans. Hint: They're not worshipping you guys for "saving them." The same would be said if you go to Afghanistan right now. Ever heard of the chemical warfare used in those wars? You know how many civilians were killed from that shit? The civilian losses were higher than the troop loss

  • @BlueberryFusion Ummm...im pretty sure the South Koreans are happy that their not living under Communism. Korea and vietnam were two diffrent wars so stop pretending their the same. What chemicals did we use in Korea? If you wanna blame Vietnam on someone, blame it on the French they started it and gave us the torch. Plus i said in my previous comment about the Canadians in combat in Vietnam, well it was a test......you failed by noting saying anything about it ,they did'nt see action in vietnam.

  • @bargunner18 god..fucking..damn it...you don't get it do you? I'm talking about the fucking civilian deaths. I could care fucking less if Canada wasn't in the Vietnam war. The fact is, the US used chemical warfare in the Vietnam war and killed millions of innocent people in BOTH the Vietnam and Korean wars. Whether the French started it or not does no mean shit. My point is the US should stop interfering with others. What the fuck is YOUR point?

  • @BlueberryFusion What control do i have over my goverment 40 years ago? DDT was not designed to kill civilians. But it did,to bad, stop putting Korea into this,we did'nt kill millions of Koreans. True couple thousand Vietnamese were effected by DDT. Also what is their to exploit in either of those countries? .......rice? Also we lost in Vietnam but look what happened, Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouge cronies instigated a holacaust killing MILLIONS of Vietnamese through out the 70's,is that the US

  • @BlueberryFusion 's fault to? This is a perfect example of what were were trying to make sure did'nt happen during Vietnam, obviously our goverment did not care after 75', pulling all the US troops out. Do you remember what happens next, Saigon falls the North takes over all of Vietnam and shit really hits the fan,you should be blaming the US that we were'nt their longer.

  • The ironic thing is that it would be better for Afghanistan, the liberal ones living there I mean, by staying longer because the current Afghan army isnt capable of winning against Taliban, but this whole debate isnt about whats best for Afghanistan...

Its the classic "Lets get out no matter what" stance.

Similar to Pro Qaddafi ,or pro Slobodan Milosevic people screaming about Nato in those conflicts, but no ones mention those wars when it comes to portraying Nato. Hypocrisy on both sides I say.

  • If I were American, I would not pay my taxes.

  • If we're going to be their indefinately why not just annex the fucking country

  • what a damn joke. i'm sure the taliban will chase them out by mid 2012

  • @KhyberBoy09 The Taliban was best equipped before the occupation, back when it was overthrown by rebels. Afghanistan isn't Iraq, in a for-profit war you win by making it unprofitable, in a nation building war you win by defecting to the government's side before you end up dead.

  • fucking A. Obama: we are getting out of Iraq yay! Fine print: We are never leaving afganistan. FLM =(

  • @mazgru Afganistan isn't a war, it's building a nation that was a failed state which had never been a state to start with. Although my country is leaving as we speak, I only support it because we, along with the US and UK, are the only ones doing any work over there, and it's time for France, Germany and the other allies to do their part of the work.

  • Fuck that general were getting out of there.

  • The U.S will still be in Afghanistan when I turn 33. That boggles my fucking mind.

  • @NihilistSlacker whats even weirder is they have been at war since 2001 when I was 19, now im 29, so I once too was boggled at this shit

  • The US does shit like this, but still wonders why a third of the world hates them.

  • Lithium.

  • hmmmm.

  • Fuck uuuuuuuuu we will leave when there's no one left to kill or when smother contry fucks up and we go kill them

  • Well the good news is Canada is getting out. More good news is you can't accuse the USA of being "cut and runners" anymore.

  • Thank you, and I hope the people at Lockheed will hear you too.

  • AMERICA.......fuck yeah?

  • Company sales in Arms (%) of shares in (2009)

    United States Lockheed Martin: 70%

    United Kingdom BAE Systems: 95%

    3United States Boeing: 48%

    United States Northrop Grumman: 77%

    United States General Dynamics: 78%

    United States Raytheon: 91%

Every company has had a significant increase in the Millions of dollars since 2007. Their profits are going up, up, up. The war is necessary for that to continue. Anyone still think they won't do everything in their power to keep the war going?

  • Comment removed

  • US eventually will leave Afghanistan... all empires fail sooner or later :)

  • The United States is desperate for natural resources. We are building military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan to control oil.We are also trying to instigate a war with Iran. Of course, this makes the military industrial complex happy as well. Sooner or later this will cause a world war.

  • The best thing for mankind would be for the American economy to completely collapse. It is the only way we'll (possibly) be rid of our monster government. The corruption is just not fixable by any other means.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty The problem isn't the government. It's the corporates. The government are nothing more than tools corporates use for their own personal gain. The government is powerless to stop corporates because America is a capitalist nation and the corps are just too powerful.

  • @JinotGaming i think most americans want out. the leadership not getting message. most of active military donations for paul. Paul has more than GOP rivals combined and more than Obama by decent margin. Paul is the guy with non-interventionism, get out of foreign wars, get rid of those bases. I think US troops have spoken - don't want these wars, they don't want interventionism, they reject the establishment GOP position on foreign policy. Most don't believe Obama now.

  • 2024?? THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO WILL SERVE THERE ARE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL!

  • Like when Paul says screw generals. we are getting out.

  • @JinotGaming You're so nice :P Still gotta count we have killed +1million civilians there.

  • Didn't McCain once said we will fight in Afghanistan in 100 years if we had to?

  • Imperialistic War is for GOD:

Gold in Libya for the Bankers

Oil in Iraq for the Oil companies

Drugs in Afghanistan for the CIA

  • Plus someone in Obama administration said this already that even after 2014 some troops will stay in Afghanistan to keep an eye on Pakistan.

  • Afghanistan is where armies go to die, even defense contractors.

  • Seriously, is anyone surprised by this? We are in Germany and Japan even after WW2 is over. We have military compounds all over the world for some stupid excuse that happened in the 1900's. We are going to stay in Iraq and Afghanistan. I knew this when we started those wars. We will also stay in Libya and Uganda. This is sad reality.

  • MCCAIN ONCE SAID WE CAN HAVE A 100 YEAR WAR IN AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ!

  • @TheAnonymouskent - I agree with you about people like that running the military (Brzezinski) but David Rockefeller runs Wall Street? Wall Street is run by tens of thousands of people. There's an unholy trinity of Big Business, Big Government and Big Banks/Federal Reserve running the country. It can't all be blamed on one of the three.

  • Shocking, did you think we were really going to pull out? Like Japan we will be in Afghanistan forever. Its called empire, look it up.

  • I'm starting to think Americans deserve their government. I think God's trying to say something to us.

  • The corporate fascist war on terrror is meant to last forever..........

  • @ConcealedTruism um how is someones family supposed to teach them physics or trigonometry? How is pops supposed to stop some giant fracking corporation from turning your drinking water flammable? TSA are you kidding what do you think keeps planes from crashing into each other at airports? Magic? You are an IDIOT.

  • @547falcons

TSA are not the air traffic controllers fools. They are the ones patting you down.

  • They just do anything to keep making their profits from the deaths from the Iraqi peoples.

  • Something i dont get about Ron Paul, he keeps talking about bringing troops home because its costing a lot of money for tax payers, yet he never (or rarely) mention how the war are benefiting the defence contractors. I think more americans will be mad if they realize how much money these contractors are making

  • @Zimba9810 Lol he talks about the military industrial complex all the time.

  • 9 generals dislike this

  • WASTE OF MONEY.

  • Every single debate that's been in the US media about getting out of the wars is a waste of time, as all other debates are, until the fundamental question's answered:

How do we get rid of the corruption in our govt?

  • What's in-between Afghanistan and Iraq?

  • @jpn010110 Iran

  • I don't get the strategy behind this. You have already killed this Osama guy, what is the point of staying anymore? It will only cost money and I don't think that democracy/human rights will ever exist in religious countries like Afghanistan.

It only provokes islamic attacks, which then will easily lead to a fascist take over in Europe or even the US and give rise to racism. I am afraid that in 2024 after some terror attacks people will demand to exterminate all muslims...

  • This is why I don't unquestionably "Support the troops".

They're a straw man hostage. A tool to protect the government's shitty stupid behavior.

Get them the hell out of there.

  • Since we will be staying indefinitely in Afghanistan, maybe we can make Afghanistan into the next state of the USA....

  • cenk looks like Robert Beltran

  • What they say: Out of Afghanistan in 2024.

But in reality: Out of Afghanistan in 3024.

  • @DannySmith300 the country won't last that long

  • @TheLCusi You're right, by then it would be called The United Dictatorship of Bushicainobamastan.

  • @DannySmith300 as in, the United states will be gone

i am gonna give it another 25 years if things keep up the way they have

  • @DannySmith300 3024 that's a really long time maybe thats why they want to get rid of abortion they need more canon fodder.

  • America never leaves a country unless kicked out.

  • Fuck John Allen. Your mission will fail, whether you waste bankrupt-US money for 5 or 20 years, there's too many third parties, you (and we Europe) don't have the resources to bring true democracy there. Get realistic.

  • Why would they pull out of Afghanistan? Tons of money in contracts and poppy.

  • @RoGDeantoir First,no one is stealing anything, and if the "you're" is referring to the U.S,then you're incorrect. Right now a $2.9B Copper mine project is underway-the largest development project in the country- and China is the lease holder for that mine. India has the largest number of interests trying to mine there. The US is investing in gold there at the moment. Security is the main problem for these operations and making things secure could make Afgh an economic powerhouse.

  • @valakin the Iranians lost control of their government or did we put the Shah in power?

  • Don't confuse "Stay" with "Keep Fighting". We have a presence in Germany, Italy, Britain, Spain, Korea, Japan, and more. Those folks are there "just in case," for lack of a better term. They haven't seen combat in many years, if ever. We may just add Afghanistan to that list. Maybe just a few hundred people will stay there, and they'll be completely safe. When's the last time you heard of a casualty in Korea?

  • Afghanistan is the Middle East's Okinawa.

  • These wars go on because the of the profits they make, nothing else. If the current war against wallstreet and Washington prevails on these economic and policy issues, the war against the military industrial complex is next. They WILL NOT get away with these wars for too much longer. Our government will change, whether by protest or force, this is the "end days" of the corporate/government connection in this nation. Progress will conquer.

  • This is true...Almost all the high ranking officers that served in Kuwait from 2003 - 2010 are now retired and work as a contractor now for all these companies that's still in Kuwait supporting the wars. SAIC, CSA, KBR, and countless others.

  • Afghanistan will become a U.S imperialist colony, and their racist arrogance will spread and feed nationalist sentiments and feelings of occupation in the Afghan population. The Taliban will enjoy this very much, support will broaden and the caskets sent home to the U.S will continue in a steady flow.

    .

The U.S wanting immunity from prosecution in Iraq is proof enough for the dealings and mentality of the imperialist filth.

They aren't anywhere to help the locals, just to kill and steal.

  • Comment removed

  • There's lots of rich murdering u.s. generals over there.

  • The U.S Empire should end their oppression and murderous occupation of Afghanistan just like any and all other countires suffering under the boot of fascist oppression before.

    .

If Afghanistan hasn't become a stable, democratic and progressing country by 2014 it's entirely the fault of the U.S Empire who just had to meddle and think they could win a swift military victory and then install a stable, friendly puppet regime.

    .

They never learned from the Vietnam War.

  • @underbjorn Ok here's the issue man. Anyone who is "resonably" educated does not want our military over there. We don't want troops in Iraq either. I don't know what country you are from, but please believe me, our ex-service members don't want their brothers and sisters in arms there.

The problem is, much like Iran, we have lost control of our government and the power to have them bend to the will of the American people. Mainly because they have brainwashed most Americans so well.

  • @valakin ---

Heh I am not against the military presence per se but the unilateral action of the U.S in the disinterest of the local population.

    .

Looking at UN mandated task forces, there's an inherent reconstruction agenda included, which might be flawed but still is there. There was no such thing in George Bush's mind who just wanted to punch somebody in retaliation for 9/11.

I agree though, like the Iranian govt is controlled by unelected clergy yours is by unelected corporate elites.

  • @underbjorn It's good that we agree. I don't have a "problem" with trying to "liberate" people if they are unable to do so. However, when looking at my own country, I think "who will liberate us?"

I wish the best for the people in the Middle East. I would wish they wouldn't willing kill me just because I'm an American, but the world is not nor will it ever be perfect.

Frankly, I believe that it is the UN's responsibility for Iraq and Afganastan for now, not ours.

  • @underbjorn wanna know why they wont money man

  • @underbjorn They are emptying the oil and gold there literally there are 3 TRILLION dollars of gold being taken out by US companies.

  • i hate it when the republicans redistribute wealth all the time. they are constantly trying to redistribute the wealth of the middle class to the military and to wall street. obama helped them steal my money and give it to the banks, bush helped them steal my money and give it to the defense contractors. i miss clinton, there is a guy we could trust, all he wanted was to screw the secretaries, at least he wasn't screwing me.

  • Ppl Elected obama & he failed them

    Clinton Failed them

    Bush Failed them

what makes Ron Paul Different? i'm serious ...they all show their real face after the election is done

  • @LieExtinguisher People want to believe that Ron will follow through on his promises. The problem is, and I say this as a Ron Paul supporter, we do not live in a Dictatorship. Americans "think" that the president has the power to go in and make a real chage. The fact is that we have allowed it to grow beyond that point. If the President or any other member wants to make a change, that change has to overcome the buying power of what it might going against. And in this case that's Wall St.

  • No story about us leaving Afghanistan by the end of the year!

No last time I checked Cenk only does stories about us staying longer.

Please Cenk try to be as objective as possible.

Don't just do stories that pain the government in an even worse light than it already is. Just because this general said so doesn't make it true.

He's not the one calling the shots

  • Green screen

  • Its time for General John Allen to retire, immediately!

  • The only reason the US Troops are in Afghanistan, is because of the opium plants.

  • Fuck Afghanistan. Get our shit and get out.

  • I KNEW IT, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • The Republicans are socialists.. they redistribute our wealth and transfer it to the war machine.

  • This war and Al Qaeda should have been done with in 2002. Iraq should have been done with in 2003. Period.

  • land of the greed, home of the paid

  • some middle easterner shows up and shoots military leaders would you care?

  • What are you guys? Cut and Runners? You started it, you clean it up.

  • Basically he says that US troops will stay in Afghanistan `till they fully extract the trillion dollars worth minerals in there and `till the opium plant ever becomes economically worthless.

  • I would like to go ahead a declare the winner on the war of terrorism. The winner is...... THE TERRORISTS. For keeping us in a long protracted battle draining all of our money and bankrupting the entire nation. Someone didn't read the Art of War by Sun Tsu you take the supplies you need from the enemy. Do not fight a prolonged war or your nation will crumble financially.

  • gtfo afghanistan

  • get out u pieces of shit. (no pun intended)

  • More lifes and resources destroyed, starting to think the human race is just fucked and doomed to failure.

  • and yet the debt keeps rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin' ...................

  • @TheAnonymouskent - "and who runs them"

CEOs, shareholders and board members. So again, WHY should we not blame corporations and bankers? No one made them bribe the government and made them get the government to give them taxpayer money.

  • the billions of $ spent in Afghanistan could have been used to pay off all STUDENT LOANS of the entire US. Socialism right? That's one reason the economy is suffering...those graduates find jobs but spend decades paying off those old debts.

  • General John Allen is a Joke

  • iraq, afghanistan, iran, those will be the first 3 countries of the American Empire..............then pakistan, then india, but they probably won't try to take china. but everything else, they will. Then we will go down as hard as the Roman Empire, because of the greedy generals and the puppet presidents. They will be our doom.

  • @CommanderMattShepard They got NO chance at India as india has MORE people than China now.

India = over one BILLION people and China is also over one BILLION people.

Both do LOTS of trading with the US.

I hope the USA goes down hard like the Roman empire. THe sooner the better!

We (the rest of the world) have had ENOUGH watching genocide, slavery and terrorism that the USA keeps producing and also DOING.

The USA is up there with hitler and stalin.

Third place as terrorism goes to the USA.

  • @Clanki really? you really think that? well thats nice. im an innocent american and you hope i starve to death due to the loss of currency, etc. just because of the crimes of america's leaders. fuck you.

  • @CommanderMattShepard Hey as long as you make sure the American leaders REMAIN in power its YOUR fault! Nobody who has voted is really innocent in this!

The civil war was faught to get RID of the british.

How about another one to get RID of the bankers and politicians?

I know you don't want to as you are NOT in the street PROTESTING and HELPING the people as 99.9% of American sit at home and ACCEPT how shitty they're country is turning.

Being passive is the same thing as being for it.

  • @Clanki i'm being passive? how the hell do you know? maybe I am. maybe you should be less JUDGEMENTAL.;

  • Comment removed

  • getting money for staying in a war for a long time? That doesn't make any sense.

  • @kmelfina well the governemtn doesn't make the weapons or tanks or ships that used in war, private corporations do and they are really expensive. They benefit from a never ending war because they keep making and selling their weapons to the government. Thats how they 'get money for staying in war for a long time'.

  • The tons of illicit heroin heading towards Iran, Pakistan, Russia, China, and Europe doesn't hurt U.S. hegemony either. Not to say prohibition is effective or just, but it's kinda like a toned down underground "Opium War" type operation.

  • @TheAnonymouskent I have to agree dude. People have simple minds and they only scout the surface of an issue. It's really sad.

  • Why haven't your wages gone up? Because part of that money goes into building guns and bombs to kill people over seas, and line the pockets of those companies that MAKE those weapons.

Shitty health care? Guess why. Schools falling apart? Guess why.

"Shit is fucked up and bullshit"? Guess why. =)

  • A true world war would help pick up the economy, but these long drawn out small wars are just draining what little money we have left.

  • No, there will NOT be troops past 2014. Fuck you! The People have spoken and you work for us!

  • Lockheed Martin has never maid me so disapointed I used love the military industry and once hoped to work in it but after the past 2 or 3 years after watching the young turks and viewing all of their Corrupt practices I am sick of them.

  • IT IS FUCKING OBVIOUS PEOPLE! The generals don't give a shit about defense, it's all about militarism. THE GENERALS WANT TO CASH IN! Would you give a fuck if you were about to get hundreds of MILLIONS after the fact?!! That is why we have all these wars for NO FUCKING REASON!!

  • wow…. full blown neocolonialism

well done USA… you have gotten successfully taken the role of your creators: you were a colony of Britain, now Afghanistan is your colony; so is Iraq

it's nice to see how the principle of self determination and all that mumbo jumbo over the past 60 years that was suppose to ensure the independence of nations strongly supported by the US was one big joke…..

  • there's a lot fo taliban ithere and in pakistan you have the head of the taliban and al queda and kasmir terrorists groups - pakistan is the center of terrorism. and afganistan is its play field. usa needs to stay in afghainstan else pakistan and china will mov ein and take it over.

  • @rostant999 They are trying to take out the Taliban government which the US placed there in the first place

  • Its an unbeliveble dirty game they play ....sad

Imagen if they occupy Afghanistan - they simply get shot.

Drugs & resources, people ...and guess where its going? Off COURSE to the 1%

  • You know what infuriates me the most, here in the US we have people with no health insurance, no jobs, losing their homes. Our infrastructure is crumbling and the middle class is now becoming the poor.

They keep telling us how broke we are and how we have no money for these things yet we keep spending BILLIONS every year in Afghanistan and Iraq.

  • @Xenite227 I've been feeling the same way for several months. I didn't vote (and volunteer) for Obama to get more of this interventionist bullshit. Looks like I'll have to vote third party this time.

  • @Xenite227 when they spend tax payers money on war, the war contractors get good business. When they spend tax money back home, the tax payers get benefit. This shows how much the government is corrupted.

  • lol, America you big dumb bastard! This is why i have and will never support anyone who is involved in wars of this nature. If you join and 'serve your country' then you clearly are to blind to see reality and you deserve to die or at least have you limbs ripped off. Supporting such charities as 'Help for Heros' is clearly a waste of fucking money. None of them are fighting for our freedom, just feeding the corporate greed. Burn in hell you cunts.

  • WAR = MONEY!

What don't people understand about this? When the Afghanistan war ends, another will start. After that, another. On and on until we're fucking extinct.

  • Afghanistan has huge lithium deposits.

  • The U.S. also discovered a huge amount of minerals in Afghanistan. Could this also be one of the reasons to stay there and protect a U.S. interest?

  • THIS IS A HUGE FRIGIN DEAL!!! Besides securing the natural gas pipeline through Afghanistan (which has been the economic interest in occupying that country long b4 9/11) the D.O.D already has plans to "manage" China, if need should arise. Afghanistan is an ideal location for F.O.B.'s that could support military campains anywhere in that hemesphere FOREVER. Don't take my word 4 it though....

  • Leave afganistan alone!

  • well ill come back and tell you if thats true when im 31

  • The U.S simply wants endless war. They wanted it when they manufactured the war against Korea, which was too hairy to indefinitely maintain, they wanted it when they manufactured the war in Vietnam, which was too hairy to indefinitely maintain, and now they want it in the middle-east, which might work, because no single country in the area will pose too much resistance to force a pull-out----so when they finish with one country, they just move onto the next.

    War = profit. Endless war=BIGprofit

  • There will be no Afghanistan left to be in 2024.

  • What's wrong with you? The war hurts your economy and is spreading hate and death
