  • I agree-forget bailing out, fix the mortgages and the job situation.

Allowing people and the government to accrue even larger credit debts is insane. People must learn to drop the 'keep up with the Jonses' attitude and buckle down and invest/save.

Personally-I have next to no debt. I thank my parents for teaching me to live like that. I can't say the same for my kids-this new economy just looks grim. And not only them--other countries are beginning to suffer over this as well.

  • well said, thanks for the video,

  • You should have bought on the huge drop at the start of today's trading..I got 3 fabulous bargains but missed on 5 others because I couldn't get the buy trade through fast enough..Great time to make a quick buck Kucinnich and Paul are 2 nuts in a pod..By the way, your analysis is flawed

  • My analysis is flawed? What analysis is that, and how exactly? I'm glad you got in there to buy some stock as it was plummeting at historical levels, I'm also glad you realize that our founding fathers (who Ron Paul endlessly quotes) were just a bunch of nuts. Good for you, and just wait until tomorrow, I'm sure you will get even better bargains on those stocks you bought today!

  • Our founding fathers were a bunch of racist sexist drunks..I'm not sold on their wisdom at all..Judging from Paul's newsletters he may fall into one of those categories also

  • Our founding fathers were humanists who believed in freedom. They were not perfect, in fact they were quite flawed (by today's standards), but the document and the ideals they left us are quite worth admiring. Ron Paul only talks about the ideals of the constitution, so when you trash him, you trash those ideals. He is no racist, that is a smear that has been repeatedly disproven. They smeared MLK in his day, because he fought for the people, and some people still believe those smears.

  • I wouldn't say it has been disproven from the primary results..or do you just think he was rejected for his naive policies..I am curious, do you have a job, own a home, have a stock portfolio, have a child in college, have Grandchildren, participate in charitable organizations, have the ear of 3 Fortune 500 companies ? Because I can answer yes to all of these, that's how I understand how the real world works. Not by what some politician I worship tells me to think.Paul's newsletters smeared King

  • That's interesting that you are all of those things at 22, or maybe you are using someone else's account? Well, maybe you are a big shot, but I understand the world not because of what I am, but because of my own reading, research and thought process. I don't worship Ron Paul, I respect and admire his service to this country. If his newsletters smeared MLK, a man who Ron Paul has repeatedly claimed admiration for for over 20 years, then please show me where.

  • I'm retired. His newsletters, and you can sure as hell research them yourself, claim MLK was gay..I find it astounding you don't know what was published in his name..perhaps you need to do further research, because Paul sounds good on the surface

  • I see no reason to go looking for evidence of your baseless assertions, it's simply a waste of time. At any rate, it is not Ron Paul the man that interests me so much as the ideas that he tirelessly champions, all the while being ridiculed and slandered. Even if Ron Paul was a horrible, evil person, it would not invalidate the ideas that he talks about.

  • By the way, as I said before, Ron Paul is simply repeating the words of the founding fathers, if that's naive to you then fine. Oh, right, you think you're above the founding fathers, don't you? That's all I really need to know about you, I think.

  • Yes. I know he is repeating their words, just as you repeat his..That's not thinking on your own..I have zero respect for the founding fathers

  • I repeat Ron Paul's words (at times) because I agree with them, just as he repeats the words of the founding fathers because he agrees with the ideals of the enlightenment which they codified into law in our constitution. If you don't respect them that's certainly your choice, it makes no difference to me.

  • Choosing to agree with the founding fathers and freedom is thinking on your own.

  • Amen, brother. I wouldn't the words of anyone who has no respect for the founding fathers seriously, regardless of whether they were imperfect human beings, from a rather unenlightened time. We have to remember, they came from a period of ignorance, brutality, colonialism, religious fanaticism, and superstition. Compared to their contemporaries, they were amazingly forward thinking, and in fact, they were quite advanced compared to many people alive today.

  • MooRons is an immature, narcissistic, ignoramus. Probably spent most of his life being a bully. Conversing with him is ultimately a waste of time because he is irrational.

  • AIG was just trying to stimulate the economy!! You know, trickle down effect...to all the service industry employees.

  • As they said on SNL last night, if they didn't hire robot caterers, then they probably drank urine. That is the trickle down effect!

  • Keep tellin it man.
