i remember i heard one of the game developers talking about it in a video, too bad they haven't emphasized this fact in the game itself.

I like how the Greaser music is superficially 50's rock and roll, but upon closer listening sounds more like 80s synthpop going for a faux retro 50s sound.

I.E. pretending to be from the 50s, like the Greasers themselves. Nice subtle touch.
