  • totowinks seemed having bad experience in Hong Kong. I believe that there always good and bad things about any city in the world.

If they have wrong English signs, simply because they speak Chinese.

I have been Hong Kong more than 20 times in the past ten years, I had no problems with the people and the environment. Food and shoppings are awesome. The beaches are so closed to the city central. I love that I can walk to anywhere I want. Their trains are fast.

    I will definitely go back.

  • bulgaria sucks

why would u go around dissing a better place and then put u country of residence on ur channel? dont u guys know shame?

  • @totowinks I went to Bulgaria, it was very poor and undeveloped. Even the capital is like a town. It needs at least 50 years to catch up with Hong Kong.

  • Comment removed

  • @totowinks Rubbish! The airport is immaculate and signposting excellent. Beautiful city + about 70% national parks + beautiful islands, great cheap food. There is much more than just tourist hotspots. While dissing the Chinese for their English language, I assume that as you are in their country you spoke Cantonese or Mandarin? I have been many times and love it.

  • @totowinks We must live in a different world. The MTR is spotless and efficient, not smelly. Learn about the country before you whinge and you will realise that Police with white flashes on their uniform are proficient in English. I lost my passport and thanks to the police, within 2hrs I had new documents. I have always found baggage reclaim fast, but that depends on your airline. HK is quite noisy but definitely no riot. Treat the Chinese with respect and they will treat you the same.

  • On the way to the hotel, I noticed some poor hongkong chinese sleeping on the street corners. I wonder how many homeless people are living on the streets and mini parks. Should I say they are the filthy source of Flu H1N1 and Sars microbes. Might be not impossible.

  • @totowinks yes there're alot of them....

  • Inside the hotel lobby, the yucky dirty teeth greedy chinese people dont know how to greet visitors and are asking some money deposit before you can proceed to your room. Damn 5 star hotel with a non funtioning hot and cold shower and very small cheap soap made in chinas old factory that smells like a deodorant. We booked 4 bedrooms, the other rooms bathtub is full of undrained water and so my friend has to call the roomboy.

  • @totowinks

STOP INSULTING THE CHINESE! THEY MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST KIND OF PEOPLE, BUT THEY ARE DEFINITELY MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN YOU, THEY DO NOT INSULT BULGARIA, WHY MUST YOU INSULT CHINA?

  • @videoking041677 he must have went to hong kong like before I was born. that's a long time ago.

  • @totowinks You racist insulting moron. Perhaps if you learned to respect other cultures and got your head out of your arse, people would treat you better. You are obviously either stupid or a liar - probably both. I have always been treated with respect by the Chinese, possibly because I treat them for what they are, my equals. People like you embarrass me. HongKong/Kowloon/New territories have a vast spread of beauty and culture. Wake up and grow up, you really infuriate me.

  • Dumb chinese dogieboy coundnt speak english, so we have to do the action words. After the cleaning of hairy dirts covering the pipe line, the chinese boy asked some money tips. what a heck! So we gave him 10bucks and asked him where can we fuck chinese pussy, the boy smiled and ask 20bucks in an exchange for a telephone numbers.

  • @totowinks You unpleasant twat. You are not fit to tread the soil in HK. Crawl back into whatever cesspool you crawled out of.

  • We called the numbers and hired 5 chinese whores. Skinny legged and kinky eyes went in to our rooms for a massage and body sell out but they arent beautiful and not good in bed so we did not pay them and kicked them out of the room and we decided to went out for fun. On the dim lit so crowded streets, a lot of poor chinese vendors offered us sex toys and gadgets, and some herbs. We dont want to get one but the ugly chinese vendor was begging for us to buy.

  • We then tried to dine in a resto for food, but we coundnt find a delicious meal, all are in strange chinese noodles and no fork and spoon, the ugly chinese service gave us chopstiks with sticky yucky unremoved filling. We decided to go back to the hotel and hired a limo for a night drive, On the street we pulled over to a hongkong women standing by, waiting for some customers.

  • They agreed for a ride plus HK$ tip and then they show us the way to an abandoned construction site were we can do the cranky spanky thing. We went back to the hotel for a night rest but to our surprised that some of our important items were missing. We called the counter but they told us that they are not accountable for it. Sucks!

  • We decided to transfer to another hotel. In the morning we went to victoria peak, our driver asked for 8000HK$ for a trip and a tour. What a swindler! We went on to Ocean park and a lot of disgusting photographers are asking for money in exchange for photos.

  • Then the tour guide drove us to a jewellry shop passing kowloons old dilapidated walled buildings similar to slums with undergarments hanging around. Sucking chinese were fooling us to buy gold as a lucky charm. So persisting and irritating. Damn it ! forcing my credit card to swipe over lucky fortune. We went to an ugly harbour, hired a yacht for a simple cruise that cost HK$25 thousand. Oh what a trip! Hongkong not worthy to spent money. A city of low life blood suckers and money beggars!!

  • hong kong or london

no offence UK sucks, anything i mean anything is better than UK

UK is a slow awful country

  • Don't ever make fun of a homeless person in another country. Be honored that you are welcomed into a country. You speak as if you are too privileged. Why are you getting drunk in another country? You could easily get drunk anywhere, even at home.

  • there re several names for HK ppl:(formally) hongkongese, hongkonger,(unformally) hongese or honkese.

    and several names for HK:

(formally)Hong Kong, (unformally) SAR, Pearl of the Orient, Frog Island, Victoria...

and several descriptions for HK: south door of China, pearl of Chinese Dragon, golden-egg-laying goose, last bastion of unfettered capitalism, capital of chinese insulting words, capital of chinese mafia

  • Tokyo = city with nice people and environment.

  • People who make this video is going there to visit HK or just go there to judge? Some western people are so well educated for discrimination. I think they all graduated with a distinction. But what good does discrimination do to their lives? What a shame!

  • im so sad...was gonna go dis summer until Hong Kong Oasis went bust...arghhhhhhhh..now hav 2 pay for ticket TWICE da price!!!!!!!!!

  • but when i came back last year, may 2007, i have found nice hongkoneers in restaurants and ocean park. but, as usual, my encounters with some were, really, sorry. cant forget the lady sweeper one night. i was so tired with my friend from walking, sat down for a minute in a corner beside the sweeper, and suddenly she said "tsu tsu" to us as if she was making a dog run out from her!! oh gosh!!

  • when i first came to hongkong, that was 2002, native hongkong are SO RUDE!! they are not nice people. they treat tourist as if just an ordinary person. Gosh! such a racist, or shld i say really RUDE! now i will be back on april for my third visit, for business and pleasure. and i spent around US$3000 per visit!! by the way, im filipino!! and JAYDEE, YOU BELONG TO THOSE I MENTIONED RUDE! and RACIST!!

  • Yep, you mention the truth...Hong Kong people only admires those who came from rich countries...we even look down at our own folks from mainland China...and those from the developing worlds....just like the Americans and Japanese look down on Chinese...it's same kind of shit...

  • my mother is from the mainland, and now she has been living in hongkong for about 20 years, but she doesn't like mainlanders. they consider mainlanders always come to hk to get advantages, eg using the hospital facilities when giving a birth, n some women there like to destroy the relationship of couples.

i don't discriminate them, but sometimes their acts really makes me n others angry, like peeing in our disney land. but i know not all of them are like this. hope they can improve a bit

  • u work here right? u were not really visiting....

  • hi! i dont work there. i do business here in the philippines. a lot of my supplies comes form your hongkong manufacturers and shops. i was there last april.visit disneyland again, talked to my suppliers, ate in your restaurants and stayed in New Kings Hotel. your country is beautiful, compared to mine (Philippines),but i love my country, although life is hard, we still manage to smile and make our friendly gestures to many tourist.hope you can make a difference in your country's friendliness.

  • thanks for compliment to my city. i think the philippines is also very nice as she has beaches and all mother nature. u mentioned that hong kong ppl are rude and i am utterly agree with that. on the other hand, i thought u were helpers in hong kong family and some employers are VERY rude. Anyway, thanks

  • umm. u expect to be treated specially just cos your a tourist? fken retard, your lucky that people even treat you ordinarily, filthy island mfker

  • whats so special about this video anyways ?

  • I love Hong Kong alot, it's my birth place, but i'm not a chinese, i never wanna say, i don't really like Filipino and indonisains, they really made all of the bar's in Wan Chai to Hooker Bars... Never can Enjoy in the bars in Wan Chai anymore.

  • Ahh miss HK =( its been 3 years since i've ever been there and China ><"

  • I think u got it all wrong, it's not human camps or what ever that took away human right on the poster, but some sort of crazy religious study.. and those are not women who protest, they're probably phillipinos that hk ppl hire for housework.

  • HK THE BEST!!

  • is it true that all HKers hate all mainlanders just because they are poor? becuz u HK peeps always yelled for independence...

  • no, i dun think so.

fighting for independence doesn't mean hongkong hate mainlanders for being poor. we juz want a democratic system

  • the mall at the peak is different now.. just been renovated :)

and the pier in central has just been torn down.. many people were against it

and about the "human rights violation" thing, those are people of "fa lun gong", they claim that the followers/believers of "fa lun gong" were tortured by the chinese government. i personally don't believe in that, and many of my friends don't too.

glad that you like hong kong!!! :)

  • nice

  • HI!i'm an italian student and i like so much hong kong...maybe i'll spend 2008 here....i hope so!!!

  • Nice video...after seeing your video. I realized how much I missed HK. The last time I was there was like 9 yrs ago. I spend half my life in HK and the other half in the US. LOL You went for a boat ride that just lovely. But I have to say I love the ferry. Did you get to go to the Shopping center around the concer or that space mesume? Guess me and my wife would have to plan a trip. Thanks again for a great video.

  • HK is a great place to live after I came to America as as an exchange student! In HK, you can buy anything you want at any time. It's just efficient & convenient!! We should be proud of being a Hong Konger.

  • i love hong kong

  • nice video

  • nice viedo !! i'm from hong kong ...wondering what u like the most in hong kong

  • i like hongkong.

    wish i can stay thr....hehe

  • hahahaha The mister softee truck made me laugh for obvious reasons. I miss hong kong. The last time i was there was in grade 2 adn i'm in grade 9 now.

  • Dam where is the tunnel thingie, those are the all the paid housemaids from all around other parts of Asia.

  • That's in Central. Most of them are house maids from the Philippines. They congregate in Central every Sunday to hang out with their friends and stuff. The government was planning on providing a meeting place for them a while back, somewhere further away from the city center. But they refused cos the area's very central it's convenient for all the maids who work in different parts of HK to meet up with friends there. It is quite a sight and I think HK people r used to it now.

  • It had been a while since I left HK...lol, I didn't know the government tried to setup a desinated meeting area for them.

  • Yes, I think it must've been at least 10 - 15 years ago. Cos I think it was because the residents in Central then were complaining about the noise they made and the litter they left behind every week. I could understand the frustration if I lived in Central. But I have no idea what happened to the proposal in the end.

  • Just to lets you all know whoever sit in the Central area or any park area during weekend, those are the people from other country. Like Philippines, Malaysia or even Mainland China people...etc. And the Goverment never setup these place for them to block the area.

  • I never said the gov did setup places because they were blocking the area. I said it was 10-15 years ago, I remember some MPs were discussing the mater. NOT because of these maids nationalities. And 10, 15 years ago. Most of the housemaids that were employed in HK were mostly from the Philippines. Those who come from other countries have not been working in HK for as long as the ones who come from the Philippines.

  • And the Mainland Chinese might hang out in parks in Central. But I don't know if they mingle with the maids in Central on Sundays. I think the gatherings actually became quite exclusive. I'm sure there're people from all over the world who like to hang out in Central on Sundays, but it 's just irrelevant. Are you just being argumentative?

  • Hong Kong is much better than US... except the air XD

  • well i live in hk but i dun like it much. well that's a good place to go if you like to be in between closely erected factories and buildings. nth gd in hk actually

  • Don't know if you're from Hong Kong. But it's just so typical of HK people to slag off their own city cos a lot of them have never lived outside HK, and have no idea how lucky they actually are to live in such a city like HK that is efficient, modern and convenient. Everything works perfectly. It's like, you can pay for your lunch with your travel card! And you don't even have to pay for local calls.

  • There are simply too much buildings crowded together that you can't even see the sky. It's suffocating ~ !

  • Delays and inefficiency are something that we have to put up with in London on a daily basis. Sometimes you have to wait 45mins for a bus. Things are ridiculously expensive for no reason and u never get what u pay for. You hardly ever experience delays in Hong Kong. Tube comes every 2 -- 3 mins. So do the buses. You people just aren't very grateful to realise how great things are there.

  • And yes, it is a densely populated city but it's not full of factories unless you're in a factory area. Most factories moved up to Canton back in the early 90s, there're only a couple of small factory areas left in HK. If you don't like to be surrounded by buildings perhaps you should move to a posh countryside area by the sea. Then it'd be too expensive.

  • In the UK. Having a shower with a decent water pressure is considered luxury. Most people still wash in Bath tubs. If you want a good shower you have to install a water pump in order to shower comfortably or it just dribbles. Quality of living is pretty low compares to most European Countries and definitely compares to Hong Kong.

  • I know in HK, people can be a bit shallow and clueless about politics, cultures and art. But so are the majority of people in the rest of the world. And Most TV presenters can be as shallow and as stupid as fuck... the city is densely populated, yet Hong Kong is a great comfortable place to live. Where else in the world can you find restaurant open 24hours? And shops open til mid-night. It's a city of modern convenience!

  • There're great things about London with all the museums, clubs, markets and stuff. But certain thing are only fun when u r at a certain age. When you reach your 30s you just wanna live comfortably, you don't wanna just survive. That's what most people do in London. They are just trying to survive.

  • They're still struggling to figure out how to use the Oyster card (HK's Octopus card) U've been using it in HK for more than 10 years. You can use it as a debut card in restaurants, shop and everywhere! In London, U can travel on buses or on the tube with your topped up Oyster card but then u can't on the over-ground trains. You get fined because they don't have any consistency between different departments. It's fucking ridiculously!

  • wow, what a detailed comparison between hongkong n london. so, apart from hk n london, how many cities hv u lived in n are they also not as convenient as hk?

i think may be tokyo is better than hongkong... i hvn't been there but what impression tokyo gives me is modern, energetic, international, lots of creative stuff n the sources of well-known entertainment.

  • I wasn't saying HK was the best place on earth. Don't be argumentative! I was only responding to the comment above.

I have been to a few places.

I spent a couple of months in NYC and I go quite often, It's an amazing city, people r friendly, it's efficient & convenient. Public transport's not so perfect but Cabs r affordable, and people appreciate Art & culture.

I've never been to Tokyo, I can't comment on it. I'm sure it's one of the most modern and efficient cities.

  • Why are you even comparing Tokyo to HK if you haven't even been there?! How has Tokyo been dragged into this conversation??!! I was comparing London to HK because I've spent most of my time in these two places.

  • my comment above doens't have a word about u thinking hk is the best = =

    but thanks for your reply!

  • But I do NOT actually think HK is the best. In fact, there are so many things that I don't like about HK too.

  • Efficiency means pressure. I have been to Paris last year and seen people are so relaxed in their working hours like watching a slow motion movie, even in the airport customs. The atmosphere is so easing without any overwhelming tension which you would experience in Hong Kong lives. The only drawback was that I almost missed getting on the plane even though I arrived two hours at the airport before the take off, ha ha.

  • Thanks for this video! :) Havent been to Hong Kong for years and planning nowww... :)

  • ._.

kool .... but kinda too long
