My daughter was born with a coarctation of the aortic valve, stenosis of the aortic valve and stenosis of the mitral valve. She had the coarctation repair when she 11 months old ( now 11 years old) , she will have the mitral valve repair when she hits puberty. I am SOOO scared, she is the only child I have and will ever have due to fertility problems. For some reason I wasn't scared at all with her first repair, but I'm absolutely terrified now. How risky is this surgery,shes all I have.....

wow, never seen a working heart before in my life. i myself have VSD. really really small, but i love my heartbeat... wouldnt ever trade it for a normal heart
