There is a sliight accent in your German. It doesn't show a UK accent. So I guess you speak it well enough to have no obvious accent but there is still one. I live in Canada for 5 years but am originally from Germany. I don't have an obvious German accent in my English but there is still one. Canadians mistake me sometimes for French, British, Quebecois, or something else :D

As far as I can tell, your pronunciation is quite good for an English-speaking person. (Far better than mine, I assure you.) You took a chance and it worked marvelously.
