well done, really great video! How did the imaging work? That is, dicty is usually clear, why is it yellow here? and why does only the advancing front show color? Do you have any high quality videos of this search process?

Yellow is the natural colour of this slime mould (Physarum Polycephalum). Haven't worked with dicty yet...
