  • Israel has no culture its stealing from the palestinian culture and mix with their orgin culture like POLAND, GERMANY, RUSSIA, UKRAINE and so on, they are gipsys they have nothing expect the hebrew language. LOL so sad people

  • @Wassouf10 ummm Weve lived in countries like Iraq,Iran, Yemen, and Morocco centuries before Islam. We have WAY more history in Iraq than Arabs do. Over 50 percent of Israels population is made up of Oriental Jews like me. Arabic, Farsi, and this type of music is as much part of our culture as it is anyones.

  • Does anyone know the song name?

  • what the fuck is to do with israeli?? LOL.. say jewish sephardim, andalucian jews, they can be named other things, nothing to do with being an israeli .. idiots!

  • @orientalarab Um, well its more or less an Israeli orchestra that is from israel, so how is it not israeli? Go back in your hole Ya Kelb.

  • @Rahamim12 ummmmmmm... hmmm.. more or less israel is a made up mix of different unrelated backgrounds aimed to steal the original Palestinian land inhabitant's culture.. so.. go back in your hole where ever your parents came from you israeli kelb.. or you will do anyways gladly or not in the upcoming years anyways.

  • Much, much better than the original (of al-Mazgualdi). Many thanks to our jewish friends for conserving the (beautiful) melody of the real moroccan music.

  • Hello

could anyone tell me pls what's the title of this song?

  • 3lash qat3uk ya warda u 3lash dabluk? (Why they picked you, o rose, why they withered you?).

Initially singed by al-Mazgualdi: beautiful voice but awful performance (non-moroccan).

It is the story of the young and beautiful girl who was given in marriage at at an very early age.

  • Bravo!

  • Ata Gadol!!

  • It is Arabic

They are singing in Arabic Moroccan dialect and the music is authentic Arabic-Andalusian music.

    Arabizing of Judea has begun!

  • Exactly. If Israelis are so determined in keeping Israel a Jewish only state, then maybe they should stop stealing the Arabic culture (other than all the other things they stole from the Arabs already). I'm sure the Jews have their own culture so maybe they should stick with that..

  • You are 100% wrong.

  • we never stoled any culture, we were there long before the arab conquista, we keep the oriental culture alive , while you are destroying it and giving it bad names

    7aram alaiki !

  • Let's clarify something first. Arabs and Jews came into exitence at the same time (both descendants from Abraham). What you probably meant is that Jews existed before the Muslims, and if thats what you meant then you are right. However, I never brought this subject up, you did. What I was trying to say is that this is our culture, this music is Arabic, not Israeli. Israeli music is completely different and I'm assuming you would know that. And why would we destroy our own culture?

  • It's a pinnacle of ignorance and impudence to suggest that music produced in the lands

that came under Arab occupation is "Arabic." It is to say that people who lived there

were savages until the noble Arabs arrived and graced them with their culture.

Much of what you call "Arab culture" is an amalgam borrowed (or *stolen* to use your terminology) from Mesopotamian, Byzantine, Persian, Indian, Jewish cultures.

  • I never said that people lived like savages until the Arabs came. Just like the person who commented before you, you're putting words in my mouth to start a new argument.

This is Arabic music because it is based on an Arabic Maqam (there are Turkish and Persian Maqams as well). The Maqam system was invented by the Persians, and is now adopted and preserved by the Arabs and Turks. Israeli culture has nothing to do with the Maqam system, and calling this music "Israeli" is appalling.

  • No one said that the music is Israeli, per se, though one could easily make that argument. It says that the orchestra is Israeli, which it is, and that the song is Moroccan, where a large number of Israeli Jews are from. You see, Israeli culture is shaped by the experience of Jews who had been exiled in all the corners of the world, and is far too multifaceted for a chauvunist simpleton like you to grasp or pin down.

  • Also, your use of language reveals you bigotry when you say that Arabs "adopted and preserved" the Persian music, but Israelis apparently "stole" it. Why didn't you say Arabs "stole and preserved"?

  • yes ..i'm with you.. this our music

  • No, music is universal. It should only bring about goodness, and not negative bickering like this.

  • u r right but i mean the characteristics

  • *keeping the oriental culture alive??

*What a bout killing the oriental People(Palestinians)???

*Funny ,take his culture and Kill him!!

  • There are a dilemna in israel society because half of the jews are originally coming from other arabic countries, morroco, Iraq, Yemen... Oriental jews are called Mizrahim. Arabic-Jews are also victim of ashkenzim racism! Concerning this song, This culture is common to all North african people Muslim and Jews!

  • i hope we all live in peace muslims and jews..

i hope we all enjoy our culture and heritage without blood..without seeing my brothers in palestine die everyday

  • I agree with you, Ohanina. The Arabic-Jews (Sephardi) have contributed for a great deal to the muslim-arabic culture, in fact their culture as well. I must say that with their migration to Israel, a big hiatus has arised in this culture -- a tremendous pity.

  • They are Moroccan jews! And they will always be Moroccan no matter what. Morocco is a state where Muslims and jews live together peacefully.

So the Moroccan culture of the Moroccan jews in Israel is shown.

  • I don't understand the last statement, I am sorry. Could you be so kind to elaborate on it?

  • This music hardly sounds Israeli to me. It sounds Arab...

  • The moroccan jews are the coolest jews.. ;)

  • completely agree!!!

Thinking of it ..No one ever would invite somebody from other religious views to a religious celebration .. now it's the mimouna and jewish community invites all others to celebrate!

  • masha allah, the moroccan jews are still singing moroccan songs in israel, very good of them.
