tibbetts2345 you're right about that. Fast boats do bring in the crowds. I'm quite impressed with Starlight Express hitting 58.5 As for the Pleasure that's why I go to the drags . The speed. And the Pleasure certainly has that. Almost gaurantee nobody will beat him next year. Thanks for posting.

look at the boat then tell me why its a lobster boat...does it not look like a lobster boat? just because it doesnt have a hauler doesnt classify it as not a lobster boat. it would take no time to put a hauler in the boat and then we can classify it in "your" meaning of a lobster boat if that would make everyone who is crying about it happy.

All I know is that boat is cool. I was at the finish line at this race in my boat and that was cool. It sounds mean, and is mean. My first boat I loved to watch was " Christopher " Mr Beals, I miss your boat at the races. One bad thing this year in Rockland was seeing the guy next to me put a bolt through his hand. He was watching the races and he was jumping off the roof of his boat and he pushed a bolt into his hand. OUCH.

i guess the underdogs engine woes continue(blower troubles) . that stinks, i was really hoping to her go this year.there's always next race season i guess. maybe the thunderbolt boys can get things together for a run or two. win,lose or draw just race her somewhere....

@FVSplitSECOND yeah dave i i wanted to see her go this year too but like you said there is next year. it sucks that nay of them have to have trouble i would love to go to every race and see every boat there to run. and i don't think you will see THUNDERCHICKEN no matter what LOL but you never know!!

is it just my observation or has the gas powered competion vanished since this 68.1 mph run? just so all you lobsterboat race fans know, i have been video taping these races since 1980.72 mph for the voop? 64mph for the camel 2? not that i am aware off.(that doesn't mean it these things didn't happen BUT i will gladly debate these claims with anyone who wants to).

Its called a lobster boat cause it looks like one LOL....you put a diff motor in that thing and shit you need to haul traps then he could use it for lobstering but thats ok it still doesn't changed the fact that the FOOLISH PLEASURE is still the worlds fastest lobster boat 68.1 MPH!!!!! The only reason its rec lobster boat is because of one of the classes this year were worlds fastest rec lobster boat it still a lobster boat either way you look at it just not a working lobster boat tard nuts!!

lol who cares if we havent hauled a trap out of this boat? its a mold off are other race boat the Lorna R. and we have hauled traps out of that one and plan on racing with it again next year. so you can cry to whoever you want to but your the one lookin like the loser because 90% of the people who actually watch the races love us coming to their towns. the other 10% like you just wish you was us. well have fun dreamin to be anything but the loser you are. dont waste space by commenting back.

@bigrig587 NO SHIT LOL how long did it take you to figure that one out....its made to race not work..... thats why this year at some races there is a worlds fastest rec lobster boat and the worlds fastest working lobster boat and the fastest working lobster boat is the STARLIGHT at 58.5 MPH. And boats like the FOOLISH PLEASURE bring the people to the races so go cry else where!!

Very Cool, I live out in Colorado but grew up in Maine. My cousins are Matt and Dayna Alley from Harrington, and they took me by to see your boat on Beals Island when I was back there visiting in April 2010, you were not around that day. Next time I am there, sure would like to get a ride on that boat. VERY COOL!!! Give me a shout sometime, Matt and Dayna can give you my info, just tell them there cousin from Colorado.
