Why are they torturing him in the first place? The main reason for torture is to gather information. But getting information through torture is unreliable, because the person would say anything to get out of it.

If you know the person has no information, there is no purpose to the torture.

honestly he probably cudnt. it depends on how the elctricity is set up. if it's high volts and low amps then it would be extremely painful, and he'd b able to scream. but if the amperage is high enough to do significant damage then he wudnt b able to scream at all, he'd just sit there and twitch as the juice was turned on and off. cept he'd slip unconcious after the fist time. so it was prolly set up the first way i mentioned, meaning that he cud scream. its kinda like an electric fence.
