  • That would be really cool for a satyr costume!

  • These still for sale at Weta? I haven't seen them listed for a few months. Will they be back? Or are they discontinuing to make them? I hope not I really was hoping to get them.

  • My co-inventors in the states are looking into making their own versions. Their hope is to produce an assemble it yourself version for those DIY folks out there. If you would like to contact them, please write to reverselegs@gmail.com

  • @inventorgal are they still working on them?

  • @Dragoness2006 I believe that the company Area 51 in the UK is planning on getting them for sale very soon. They don't have anything on their site but if you contact via email, they may have more news.

  • @inventorgal They do have them on their site now. They are called digilegs.

Their base cost is 500 GBP + shipping.

  • How come I can't seem to find these any more on the Weta Website? Are they no longer doing them or they just trying to get more made, it has been a few months since I saw the stilts listed. You still with them Kim?

  • Weta has canceled the project because of lack of sales in a shaky economy.

  • they used these things for making the jurassic park films. though theirs were a little more elaborate.

  • @obscenesAINT

Not quite, ours are a bit different. We do not lock down the ankle like they did.

  • How long does it take to get used to walking on them? I want some!

  • It takes under an hour to get comfortable in them, some people pick it up immediatley.

  • these are amazing stilts. I have a DIY pair a friend and I made, but nothing as awesome as these...I know it's probably getting redundant, but I am curious about the cost of these. Or if you even sell them. I would be very interested in purchasing a pair...they would make my werewolf costume (project in progress) a step above and beyond. Please let me know.

  • Thyey have just become avaliable this week for $946 US through Weta in New Zealand.

  • What happened to the spring loaded hooves are they detachable or not going to be on the new design.I Still like them waiting patiently.

  • The hooves were only to hide the unusual looking foot. This video shows what the "core" version looks like with out the extra costume attachments.
