  • Since when surveillance cameras have SOUND?

  • I cannot even begin to imagine what would have happened if it rolled starboard. You catch a microburst that close to the ground and you are done, especially in a plane as "roll prone" as the DC-10/MD011. May they rest in peace...God himself couldn't have saved that plane. And, a remarkably clear day for NRT.

  • thats not something you wanna see when youre waiting in the terminal before youre flight...

  • @menthol5 I agree in part...the DeathCruiser-10 was just as prone to rollover after a wing strike like that. For example, UA232 in SUX, but this a/c was doomed from the minute that burst hit it...I think the reports said at 50'? The porpoising was due more to the downburst than any reaction to it. That one would be interesting in a simulator (no, NOT FSX!). NRT is infamous for its approaches...and this was a burst during a relatively clear day.

  • thank you for flying with brittish airways hope you enjoyed your flight

  • @JamminJamieFilms I really hope you realize this was no joke and that two people lost their LIVES. It was also FedEx not BA so no one was on but the pilots. This was a sad day not to be made fun of by stupid jokes.

  • @CaptainAdlai sorryyy

  • Poor people who didn't get their stuff. No just kidding, seriuosly. did the pilots die? too bad these tragedies still happen :(

  • Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect. By Captain A. G. Lamplugh

God bless all our Bothers that pass on to the great Beyond

  • @win288

    who the fuck is god

  • @Kra7as

hes like santa for old people

  • yup, that was horrible, the passengers from other flight must have been horrified to fly.

  • How about over control after the first bounce pushed the nose way up and flying pilot push controls to far forward causing the nose first impact then Left gear collapse?

  • I think the plane bounced, then banked left and the wing just snapped.

The landing gear didnt touch the ground, I think they lost control when the plane hit

  • put the crack pipe down.. you mean put the blunt down. lol

Anyways all I'm saying is there is a lot of stuff going on behind this worlds back.

  • I agree with you. But we will have to wait until the report comes out.

  • oh! thats even better. :)

  • 2009 the era of the plane crash!! How many fucking Air planes are going to crash and what is the government hiding??

I'll tell you what there hiding and that's everything... It's all a big cover.

I'm starting to think these are not accidents anymore.

  • put

    the

    crackpipe

    down

  • DC-10s required 3 crew members. Md-11s only require 2.

  • arent there more than 2 pilots for an MD11?

  • Tail didn't come off, though the left wing did detatch on the second impact, which is why the aircraft subsequently inverts. Cargo plane. Two onboard. Two Fatalities. Wind shear could have been a factor. As with most of the videos of this accident, this is not the full video. The most complete vids start about 10 seconds earlier than this one and end about 10 seconds later. Aircraft was an MD-11. Unless you are certified to fly that plane, your right to rat on the pilots is revoked.

  • Whats race have to do with a tragic plane accident.

  • Actually, they were American.

  • how many died

  • There were two pilots aboard.

  • i dont think the tail came off.... sorry my mistake.

  • It seems then the plane came to land very hard then the tail fell off , then it starts to flip and burst into flames.

  • R.I.P.

  • this was the second md 11 from fed x to crash up side down the first was in newark in 1997

  • What the heck is with all these plane crashes lately? Something is not right.

  • I know a lot of planes crashed lately. They must be doing something wrong with the planes.

  • yes, a month ago a 737 crashed into Hudson River.

  • I bet you meant A320...

  • yes, A320 sorry my mistake.

  • Yeah but they weren't caused by poor maintenance or some other change in policy. These two accidents were just caused by bad birds (the ones that got stuck in the engine, and the MD11)

  • You mean an A320 don't you?

  • yes, A320 sorry my mistake.

  • A320 not 737

  • That's one hard landing!!!

My condolences to the families of the two pilots who died in the crash.

  • wowowe its bad

  • WTF? Hard Landing?

  • Won't know till after the investigation, but seems like it could have been bad weather or wind shear, micro burst right at landing.

  • Hmm, windows at 0:48 which could make sense because they converted them from passenger jets, but I can't seem to see the third engine anywhere.

  • nevermind my conspiracy, I found a picture with fedex paint

  • I saw that too. This is the real footage,so it must be a conversion.

  • @Thewhitewookiee what do you mean? The pilot would declared an emergency if one of the engines was not working. The accident is due to PIO because of the reduced size of the horizontal stabilizer in MD-11s. You wind gusts and it is a deadly combination. Both pilots were killed.

  • @Thewhitewookiee yes you´re right, i read on a blog that the airplane was previously used by Delta Airlines with the N711DE tail number

  • @Thewhitewookiee sorry, my bad, the correct tail number of the Aircraft on the Delta Airlines times was N813DE

  • Damn that looked like a bad crash!

  • Did this happen today?

  • Yes it did.
