  • what's that noise I can hear in the background?

  • We had a tornado in Midland one time and I was parked in a vacant factory parking lot with another mans wife doing some stuff when the storm tore out some trees across from where we were parked!

  • To view the "chase" of the London, ON tornado June 2008, Google search "2 of 6 Tornado London"

  • How could you drive while holding a camra in a storm?

  • id just like to say im extreamly sorry to all the people who live in goderich i live in kincardine but i was on vacation and i met a guy there from goderich but words cant describe how devestating this is

  • Devastating, I can't even imagine being IN this. I'm from Petrolia, ON, and we had a tornado touch down in Brigden (10 min from us). I wanted to post on this video, as I'm working to produce a doc on Goderich/the tornado/its effects on the community. Would anyone know who shot the video that was on the CBC? He was right in the heart of that storm, and it'd be incredible to interview him (and others) for this documentary. Please let me know (skyvid@hotmail.com), many thanks, please take care.

  • i was screaming and saying wwere gunna die!!

  • god Iive close to this place I was outside that day and I felt the wind

  • Crazy....from where she was its one road to get back into town...she was driving right at the storm....at the top of the hill its maybe 1 km to the square had she been able to drive down that road....such a shame

  • Ya chrisjames1962 you try holding a dang camera while driving thru a tornado, navigating roads around debris, and dealing with other drivers who forget the rules of the road, in a crisis.

  • I doubt she would have hit anyone but it is awfully hard to control a car in 250 km/hr winds on slick rain soaked roads while dodging tree limbs and flying debris. She was endangering her life when she was safe where she was. I was less than 200m away from the point the storm came ashore and I made sure I was safe. My point is, would this have been so "cool" if a tree had come through the windshield and injured or killed her. Many cars in the area she was driving into were write-offs.

  • LOL mother nature hatin on what sounds to be a stoned woman's car @ 0:27

  • She obviously saw the storm come ashore from where she was and yet she is driving INTO an F3 tornado! Just check out the amount of damage - it is increasing as she drives. Also as she is heading toward the grain elevator the storm in right there in front of her. Who drives a car, with one hand, into an F3 tornado. Dumb. Very dumb! By the way - it is against the law in Ontario to operate a car while operating a hand held device.

  • @MrOpus1642 shut up you buzzkill peice of shit, this is some of the best footage anyone caught, like they give a shit about that dumb law while they are recording some of the most intence history they might ever see, do you think they are going to hit a pedestrian in a tornado?

  • @MrOpus1642 It's also ilegal to jay walk. Get over it.

  • At the God thumper u r insane did u ever think almighty god started it the devil sits and laffs at u people yer all nuts how about i'm so happy the girl videoing survived

  • Im glad i dont live in southern ontario. We only had a little bit of rain now it stoped :)

  • Whatever happen to good old time decency - in disasters people would call on God or something, now they swear - so many people's last words who die in accidents is a 4 letter world-Canadain standards have fallen off a cliff

  • what a nice day to be at the beach

  • Nice view of the seat next to her.

  • Next time you should just set the camera on the dash and keep your attention on the road before you end up hitting fleeing people! Great footage though(except for the inside shots of your front seat!

  • wow she kept her cool alot better than I would have.

  • @chrisjames1962 i think she was driving and filming at the same time lol

  • friends red truck at 0:39

  • Do you wonder how accidents happen? She was driving in a tornado video taping the storm... it is a miracle that not more than 1 person died when you pull off stupidity like this!!

  • @jiats2010 too bad a hail stone didn't hit you in the head. calm yourself down mother hen.

  • Comment removed

  • @chrisjames1962 I don't care what anyone says... holding a camera with one hand and the steering wheel with the other isn't rocket science -.-'

  • @vrambo roll a f3 tornado into that senerio !!!! jack ass!!!

  • @chrisjames1962

Why don't you try driving a storm with a tornado taking place and recording at the same time?

  • @chrisjames1962 it might be a little hard to hold a camera still when you're driving through a tornado storm

  • @chrisjames1962 =lost art

  • @chrisjames1962 the person is driving through a huge storm while dodging debris on the road while holding a camera, what do you expect?

  • dude shes fuckin driving

  • @chrisjames1962

Shes driving? Its kind of hard, you have to drive, and try to hold the camera in place?

  • It must have been frustrating to be stuck behind people that just stop in the middle of the road... as if they had forgotten that there was a tornado going on.

  • @YouGotsTheRabies haha i agree..

  • FORRRRE!

  • Where exactly is Goderich?

  • @BeautyFetish It's near Stratford-Kitchener-Waterloo area.

  • @BeautyFetish Close to London too.

  • To see the tornado/storm coming in from Lake Huron, search YouTube member "myrrhamira" ... it's the best footage of the storm that I've seen so far

  • @rob22924 try searching for "Storm at Rotary Cove Beach"

  • car is getting pelted..

  • this is probably some of the more intense footage ive seen though! wowza crazy

  • largest tornado ontario has seen in a decade and nobody got it on film, boo.

  • The worst part of that video is knowing that at around the 1:20 mark is when the mine was taking a direct hit that killed a man.

  • was there any warnings, I didn't know there was warning until i heard you guys were hit.

  • @louiseo0905 Enviro Canada only gave 6 minutes notice.

  • Is that hail hitting your car?
