I think your point is valid, but it is important to recognize that not all kills are equal. Or "some kills are more equal than others". Yes, killing people is important, but you want to kill people in a way such that your teammates can move up. Hanging pack and picking people off at a distance isn't helping your team move the front line up much. The important aspect is to take control of subsequent areas until your entire team is near the objective. You do this well, but many killwhores dont...
