First of all, you cant fit the Best in the Top 10. Too many Greats, Still Household names to this day. No other Team in NFL History can claim this many Greats from one team. 9 of then from the 70's teams alone (10 yr period) were Inducted in the Hall of Fame. Whats the Insane shit about Joe Green placing 6th??????? Voters must have been on heavy Drugs. Clearly hes #1 & always will be. Buy a Clue asswipes. LOL
youre a retard but im glad you like the steelers the list is 10. polamolu 9. ward 8. bettis 7. hamm 6. stallworth 5. swann 4. lambert 3.bradshaw 2. franco 1, mean joe greene. i didnt put rod woodson cause he went to the ravens and he wasnt a steeler throughout his career but if he had been with us throughout he would be 4 or 5
I agree on the names, but not on the places. Greene and Bradshaw are 1 and 2, in my opinion, and then Harris and Bettis. Then Lambert, Swann, Woodson, Polamalu and Ward. Last Stalwarth. But wait three or four more years and we all will be debating about Ben being in the top three, you'll see...
Who can even 'try' to make such a list? It is impossible if you're gonna be fair. A "Top-20" would be more plausible considering the awesome history of the Steelers. But we are all wrapped up with this 'system of 10' in our culture but forget about the "Top-10" Steelers of all time and be more practical with a "Top-20" list. {And even that would not cover all the Steelers that are in the Hall of Fame}
@SuperCrapper12 considering he was fast he was a walk on he fumbled to much but he would deffinately be in top 30 maybe 20. im a huge steelers fan if your wondering cuz im not hatig
Rule number one to making an all-time Steelers list: JOE GREEN IS ALWAYS #1!!! The other nine-teen spots are all up to debate. Yes, twenty spots, being as it's almost impossible to limit this subject to just ten spots.
Mean Joe Greene is without a doubt the best Steeler to ever suit. His impact on the game was far greater than the rest. Have to go with Franco #2, Bradshaw #3, Lambert #4, Blount #5, and the rest is up in the air.
@SteelersProduction36 Dude I'm sorry Jack Ham was one of the greatest Outside Linebackers of All Time&MEL BLOUNT IS DAMN SURE ON THIS LIST ALSO MEAN JOE IS TOP 3 AT WORST! I understand it's your personal opinion but you have no business making a list of this type
Terrible background music, good picks but in the wrong order. some more steelers would also be more deserving. joe green, polamalu was too low there, joe green to low... jerome bettis would be a great #1 though
@MattyCfromCT you cant really put any current steelers on a top ten list because they are too young to tell, he is really good but what if he gets injured and is done thts why I would have like instead of bettis and polamlu have like Ernie Stautner, L.c. greenwood or Mike webster.
and as much as i loved rod woodson growing up, you can't have him up there and leave off mel blount. the 5 yards rule is nicknamed the blount rule because he was the master of jamming receivers. my list would be in order 1-10: greene, bradshaw, lambert, harris, ham, blount, woodson, stallworth, bettis, polamalu. or something like that. making these lists is not easy and there will always be disagreements
i'm sorry. strongly disagree with this list. being that bettis is my favorite steeler in my lifetime i still have to say you were way too generous putting him at 1. he's not even the best running back in steeler history, let alone best steeler. franco was better. and joe greene at 6? sorry. joe greene is the greatest steeler ever. he was ridiculously dominant. i have over 150 steeler games on dvd from the 70's to present. greene would make 1 handed sacks after breaking through 2 blockers
hold up here who is the number 4 rusher of all time... bettis franco is amasing but he is not the best rusher ever i respect franco a lot but i just cant swith them
first off bettis is the number 5 rusher of all time. seconds, bettis play longer. franco has the higher yards per carry and the most rushing yards IN STEELERS HISTORY. franco also has a super bowl mvp and was a much better postseason performer
What about James Harrison
