Whether he means alcohal or some thing sufistic but the thing is he is really drunk. Why do people beleive like many other that there is some hidden meaning and very few understand it. Here the context is very clear and he talks about alcohal. The peots are really misguided people in many places. They usually talks about the things which they never do. Take Faiz, he talks about socialism but never condemoned Military action against the Balochs rather he supported altrajudicial killing of Balochs

@mrguljan83 a couple of reasons people presume it to have something of a deeper meaning, first of all this guy is a Qawwal, so even though he is singing a ghazal people think he isn't just singing about alcohol. The other reason is a real one, the poet who originally wrote this (I forget the name) did have a deeper meaning.
