  • this country is gettin better, bet most of u left it oredy!

  • Looking forward to going and seeing what this area is like, also other areas outside of the big towns.

  • Home sweet home. There is no place like home whether dirty or sparkling I still love and miss my country Zambia. Moreover every place has clean and dirty places. i thought I would never see any trash in the US, but hey, go to new york you will wonder where you are, you will think you are at soweto market.

  • yall must of been in kanyama

  • Ok!!! am sure almost every country in this world has a place that looks like this. Yes we do need to clean up but the whole city of Lusaka does not look like this.

  • Will lusaka ever modernize and clean up

    God help us

  • It didn't show the shady glades of the Limpopo where my dad used to drink tea with Harry Nkumbula.

  • looks like my city in Sim City

  • thebfmemapplace-dot-com

  • looks like mexico.

  • This video makes zambia look like a fourth world nation. I know things are bad in Zambia but please show some nice places coz some of us have had enough, everyone is showing the bad places (World Vision, UNICEF,ETC), I atleast want some sense of pride. I dont mean to hate but Zimbabwe is goin through a rough time but they still have a beautiful city, let us also show ours OK.

  • so true

  • theloser5005 comment is a disgrace. If your country is "dirty", be proud of it. I am disgusted that you find World Vision/Unicef BAD when they do their work. You are the kind that buys a $150 car to pimp up like a benz just to look rich and sophisticated. And what is a third/fourth would country to you? If you lose pride based on country rating, ratings you have done nothing to improve, i pity you! By the way, which master do you wanna impress? the rating one? theloser indeed!

  • Zambia used to be a decent country, lets face it, after the copper crisis in the 70's, its changed so much.

  • .. if he would have gone to Kanyama or Garden Compounds for example, he would've seen people paddling in sewage water, trash everywhere millions of flies on meat and fish sold at the open markets, much more poverty than shown on this vid. Fact is, the only "nice" places are where you would find tourists and the few of Zedian rich go for shopping or go to enjoy themselves. The rest of the citizen has to struggle to live a decent life! People are not lazy, its the system which is BAD.

  • You know what Zedchick you have just said it the way it homie.

    i feel you!!!

  • Great that people comment. I think the very most challenging place where I visited was Lukulu. There are people living with nothing. And still living

  • If you dont have things to do please get your ass down and get better videos. Zambia has better places than the worst ones that re being shown to scout for funds from Donors.

  • I agree, I am Zimbabwean and have been to Lusaka a few times in the past 15yrs and every time I go there, there are improvements. There is a lot of investment from South Africa and Lusaka is getting better every time. So please show all of Lusaka not just the dirt and poverty1

  • Thank you for your comments. What you see is about 4 yrs old. Could someone update the scene ? Actually I personally did not shoot this to show something bad I just shoot something on my way home with my new camera. Maybe i should remove this.

  • Well if you have a chance maybe you or a friend can shoot some other parts of Lusaka, so you can show the good and bad, so don't remove this clip. I know how it is when you get a new camera, you just shoot anything, so don't worry too much siltis1. I have family in Lusaka.

  • No, you shouldn't remove this if you don't want to. This portrait of Lusaka is a valuable one regardless of the city's condition.

  • Greetings from Trujillo , Peru , South America.

  • I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but that is not Mukambi Road. It si Lumumba road that runs roughly north to south on the western edge of the Lusaka city centre. The portion of Lumumba Road the video shows is between Kafue roundabout and City market and runs parallel to Freedom Way

  • not the best vid but home is home...i miss Zed.

  • Just look at the state of the place! Why do those poor people have to walk through such garbage.

  • Its the same in every society. The poor dont live in healthy environments. I was surprised to see trash on the streets like that in the US too.

  • aww, miss zed.. not the best bit to show tho.
