Roha band was known for their superb performance in the histrory of ethiopian music. They played a major role in transferring Ethiopian music to a highter level.
Those guys in the back ground, they don't have life the only part of their body that is moving is their fingers, and that happens because they have to, god I don't know how they survived this industry with this stature.
from my observation they have manners and class. Nowadays it's different. I don't see how you have to move a lot to play this kind of music. As for the survival they themselves can answer that and the music they create by itself is alive!
Lets put it in perspective. That was the way things were done in Ethiopia back then. Look at kuku herself. She moves very little and her facial experession is dead.
Roha Band was the best Ethiopian band organized since modern music introduced to the country. Does anyone know where these guys are playing right now? I know they are not together anymore, but I am hoping they are still playing somewhere. I love Roha Band, not the vocalists; I love the talented musicians that play the instruments.
ahh but they are the only best band..most time they focus on the quality of there instrument drive not moving body

@danadugenet Because they let their music do the talking, unlike artists these days who are all flash and no substance.

To speak the truth, two days ago, out of nowhere, I remembered this song and tried to sing it; while at work. Such coolness. Edmae le'Heberetrit.
