that's a very beautiful song...and it makes me sad for my friend who lives up there in Greene County and had to drive through that mess and got stuck at work and she was very scared...nice work GB
i dont know why this person name this great flood of 2008 i lost every thang that day my house my car my dog and everthing in between... yeah that was a great fuckin day i know lot ppl were in same as me what fuckin day we all never forget
You have to be in he middle of it to know how bad it was...and how scary it was..I was in he area of Candle light Villiage...i seen vehicles trying o cross over a flood and heir cars were just driven away by the swift currents of he river. by Nancy Rice
To the freaking retard below who seems to think that our military men and women kill innocent Iraqi civilians...fw569442...You have alot of nerve. Thank goodness someone like you is not standing with it 5 feet of me right now. Have you even been over there and seen what WE MEMBERS OF THE WORLDS GREATEST MILITARY have seen?? You might need to man the Fuck up and maybe travel over to Iraq or the Afghan and maybe do a 12 or 15 month tour of duty for yourself. Maybe then you appreciate the USA more
haha the cheese factory is fine. didnt flood on that side of town. (thank god for high train tracks!) and i bet u didnt know they dont make there own cheese anymore! they import it now... oh and by the way im that one post down there. im on my actually thingy
Yup. If you were to be able to see directly to your right in that first pic, you'd see Mirh's Lake. And My Cousin Beth Wolf owns the old farm house and farm right beside it
2:38 haha thats in my town of elnora! im dakota adams and im just stealing my little cousins account for the moment. water didnt get to our house but on the other side of the train tracks that split our town. i have one thing to say.... SAND BAGGING SUCKS!!!!
I was one of the National Guardsman deployed to Jasonville, Evansville, New Harmoney and East Mt. Carmel. So it was awesome to see some of the place I helped out at in this video.
We live on a hill, so the only problem we're having is getting around, there's roads closed in all directions. Small inconvinence compared to what alot of people are going through.
I live in jasonville and it wasnt as near as bad as some of these towns and other areas...thank god.

Great pictures! I live in Lyons. Didn't have any water damage...but all roads to everywhere were closed.
tesuva 3 years ago
My Grandpa used to have a cabin on the White River south of Lyons. I'd say they probably got wiped out, or at least badly damaged.
