@AndrewRaimonSavage ... or, maybe, if we follow exactly some basic ideas some called Human Rights (to go beyond any concepts that could divide mankind) this idea of being first or last in line would be so irrelevant if could be forgotten and simple Justice could arise ...
Thank you... erm, I suppose it's a compliment. I'm not sure.
Can you imagine, after 1 - ONE - year, after an earthquake that lasted 23 days - and today they are even under a flood - the people that try to come in there, are asked to remain ... OUT there.
Help doesn't come properly
Patients are still dying without the proper care, medic...
They can't study ! They are poor, have nothing, but can't work, even with the best of will how can you build anything, reconstruct, without material ?
Thank you... well 3 months later, what has changed ? I didn't mention
"Article 23
...shall allow the free passage of all consignments of medical and hospital stores and objects necessary for religious worship (...) even if the latter is its adversary. It shall likewise permit the free passage of all consignments of essential foodstuffs, clothing and tonics intended for children under fifteen, expectant mothers and maternity cases."
There should be bulldozers breaking the barriers ! Blue helmets, International forces coming and doing their work ! And what have we ? Zilch, nothing ! And then what ?
You know what ? it's crazy. Some images are so old you could hurl your head on a wall. It's always the same old pain. They come do their clic-clac kodak and then leave. But people from Gaza even if they should leave for medical treatement or else, are like in prison. And what's happening every day in West Bank is not Right too.
If the whole or part of the population of an occupied territory is inadequately supplied, the Occupying Power shall agree to relief schemes on behalf of the said population, and shall facilitate them by all the means at its disposal.
(...)
...of the provision of consignments of foodstuffs, medical supplies and clothing.
All Contracting Parties shall permit the free passage of these consignments and shall guarantee their protection. "
Daily food rations for internees shall be sufficient in quantity, quality and variety to keep internees in a good state of health and prevent the development of nutritional deficiencies. Account shall also be taken of the customary diet of the internees.
Internees shall also be given the means by which they can prepare for themselves any additional food in their possession.
Sufficient drinking water shall be supplied to internees. The use of tobacco shall be permitted.
Internees who work shall receive additional rations in proportion to the kind of labour which they perform.
Expectant and nursing mothers and children under fifteen years of age shall be given additional food, in proportion to their physiological needs" (Gen. Conv.4)
-
I mean, it's for "internees" even not for simple civilians ! People from Gaza are accorded less rights than prisonners !
Pal' people are living under an oppression and terror which is a melting pot of every violence possible these last centuries. It's an everyday terror.
They need and deserve all the support they can have because it has always fascinated me how pacific and not agressive these people are in their immense majority. Historical Palestine was a mixed place, and you can still find beautiful minds there. But the problem is that strangely, peaceful people or leaders tend to be killed, like we just saw.
The problem..."Rabin won the Nobel Peace Prize together with Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat. He was assassinated by right-wing Israeli radical Yigal Amir, who was opposed to Rabin's signing of the Oslo Accords."
There are those who will not stand for a Peace.
Two countries?
If Israle would just recognize the Palestinian's rights to life and property, there would be not problem.
Hello gjsterp, thank you for having rated this video, but... it's not at all my idea. I don't want anybody to die.
I would love that the pressure is so great, Israel has to do what Olmert, and a lot of others before him said : dismantle the colonies ... Or If they prefer, stay under juridiction of Palestinians.
In 2000, 2001, Haaretz had tried to make a big brainstorming among its readers stating this basic fact : saying more or less, well guys, if we want peace, we must give up colonies.
At that time the problem was to link Gaza to West Bank... when I think of this !!
A system like switzerland, or Ottoman empire, with people living together ? I don't want anybody to die. The most important thing NOW is to PROTECT the Palestinian people. We, fool Europe, STates, United Nations, always mouth great open to punish, state, organize other people's life must open their f. eyes, ear, mouth ! I'm more enraged against UE, US and UN than against Israel who is just their spoiled creation.
You dream of one country for all ? One country where the main idea would not be religion, origins, ethnies, but citizenship ?
Ha !! ;) Hum ...Ha... :(
Oh sorry, I'm a little bit desperate as we don't seem to live in a world where these ideas are recognized.
And so for my part, I think that before talking of this kind of stuff, which only happens to encourage the paranoia which kills Palestinians, because of which Palestinian people Die, people should talk about 2 States to begin with. No ?
The second point, more important, is that no ideas can go up when other people's rights are not protected.
Israel, die ? And the Israelis, don't you think they'll die for their country ?
So the main point is to understand (some people just begin to realize the problem) that there is more than one level in this discussion.
I mean, we have the State of Israel. Recognized, even from hamas. Problem is the Occupation by IOF of the little portion of land reserved for Palestinian people.
The problem is the settlements, the spitful way these colonies are established, just to crush a bit more every hope Palestinian people may have to live normaly. Like human beings. They even can't go to school without being checked like Aliens.
Since 1967 (res 242) they were left with a tiny portion of land, more little than 1947which was reserved for Pal' people to create a State.
They're like indians in Reserves on crumbles of land between settlements and walls. Multiple PrisonS. Unfair.
Thank you bixby2000 for this great upload. Wow! It gives me goose bumps and my eyes fill with tears just thinking about all the human rights violations that have occurred. We must unite and make a stand for peace! There is no way to defend these crimes against humanity, regardless of who commits them. Thanks for a much needed, well put together message of truth.
This week, some may call "a week of "Truce", before wondering why some cannot stand this injustice :
The IOF (Israeli Occupation Forces) conducted 40 incursions in West Bank, arrested 54 Civilians, ordered evacuation and demolition of 129 houses in West Bank. 26 Palestinians, including 6 children were injured in West Bank & Gaza. At the same time, soil was confiscated, and families had to demolish their homes in Jerusalem.
And this is only a tiny part of the weeky report 5-11 March 2009
The strangest thing is that this video talking about the Geneva Conventions IV existing to protect civilians under Occupation which are being violated every day is totally absurd in itself ...
the main problem being the Occupation of West Bank, the strangling of Gaza, the ethnic cleansing of Jerusalem, which represent a violation of common International Right in itself ...
I mean, the Occupation of West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem is illegal. And WE should stand up to say THIS to begin with.
But... as WE, International Community remain awfully silent ... at LEAST there sould be these Conventions to protect these people under israeli and ... International Ubu and Kafka way to see things ! Everything is totally crazy and mixed up.
In fact the only "law" that works is the one that 's condemning people who stand up.
But, I just saw this.. And, have to say- to Palestinians, it MUST seem that there IS nobody out here, on their side. The horror they still undergo? My country seems to not care, at ALL>
I find myself embarassed to BE American, considering that we are STILL providing money, munitions, and whatever else they want-- TO Piss-Real, the TERRORISTS of the MId-East. It is Sickening.
Am posting on my channel, as nothing has changed, only more dead/injured.
Someday. One day very soon the first will know what it feels like to be the last in line.

Palestine has my best wishes.
I have been writing my reps, but it does not seem to do much good.
The leaders are not listening to us.
As is common.
There are Jews protesting here for Palestine.
Still no action.
