i dont mean this in a bad way...seriously ...i dont.....but you all need to lose weight otherwise your jumping practises will go to waste as the weight pulls u down and limits your maximum height which would otherwise be higher if u were lighter. peace
string...er...rubberband let's say, that will allow you to spin about the required 2 circles and land...land with control and that's how you can improve on that~ :)
Just to say, don't worry, most people have the habit of doing this, when running into doing a spin kick, don't stop before doing the kick. I'm serious, it just kills the momentum that you've built up and you have to work harder to get the kick. start running up and when you're about to spin for the kick, picture it this way..you're progressing ground level and then going up diagonally when you jump and kick...once you spin to kick, make sure it's above the shoulder and quickly straighten like a
Thank you. I noticed I still have trouble keeping my back straight when jumping. Are there any exercises or stretches I can do to improve that area of weakness?
Lie flat on your back and have someone push your straight leg towards you, with the goal being able to touch the floor by your ears with your toe. This the the best way to stretch for front kicks, as it stretches only the leg w/ no back-bending (so you'll be less likely to lurch forward when you kick).
And when you're doing the "skipping" before the jump, don't come off the ground too much..only be high enough to move your feet. The purpose of the "skip" (besides aesthetics) is to build speed.
Comparing this drill practice to the previous drills, I've noticed that I've made a tiny bit improvement. However watching the sister and brother made me angry because their attitude and behavior in class really irratates me. They always look and act lack of energy and have been starved for ages. I love the days that they don't show up. hohoho~~~ =P

Gotta be tough to do all that on a slippery hardwood floor but you do what you gotta do with what you got.

try to lean back a bit when doing the flying frontkick, makes it easier to keep your non-kicking leg chambered.
and take a look at bsg1Xak07jI
don't worry about one week without training, you practised enough to keep your level over more than such a short break :-)
