I don't know why this isn't loud enough for you. It sounds good.  Straight pipes can only sound good on a diesel or a gas engine that makes a shit load of exhaust pressure.

should have just got an x pipe...an x pipe will make ANY mufflers louder and raspier, even if these were knock offs...im going to get bbk longtubes, bbk O/R x pipe and flowmaster 40's....going to be loud...i hope

I would think flowmater 40's would sound a little louder/more aggressive even with the stock mid-pipe, but I guess it could be the "knock off flows" as you say they are, whatever those are? I think it would sound a lot better with an after market mid-pipe, regardless of whether it is o/r or not. I have a black 04 Mach, and the catted Bassani x-pipe with magnaflow CB sounds pretty awesome, and is surprisingly louder than you'd think; and seems to have gotten louder over time, yet is quality tone.

nice car. I really like my SLP 2's. I get lots of compliments and they have a nice, deep tone to them. Everything else is stock. Everyone has their own preferences though so go with what you like.

All you need is an x-pipe its cheap and if you want to hear what it sounds like check out my vids. I like the BBK with my Flowmasters it sound awsome and is super loud dont get SLP you dont need it!!

if u want some loud sound get some. slp loudmouth mufflers thier are two types slp loudmouth 1 for super loud and slp loudmouth 2 for loud but not so loud it angers people next door to you. lol

thanks man. thats what i had planed on doing but things have changed and now im not aloud to. for right now my two options are to take the resonators off or leave them on and replace my 40's with strait pipes :/
