  • What motor have you used? Where can i get one from? Could you provide a link? Im building a go-kart as well. Its got 2x 1000W, 36V motors. Not sure if it would be strong enough. My older go-kart ran from 2x 250W motors and that could go 12mph and pull a small car.

  • very nice..i watched all your videos and im making a electric go kart.. i have a motor, batteries and the frame but im confused on what electrical parts i need. you have a fuse and a contactor along with a controller, it that right? what do you need them for? how do i know how to wire everything to the controller etc?

  • nice, im turning my go kart into a dune buggy

  • Thanks. I may switch to lifepo4 38120 cells. have a few comming to test with. rated at 3.2v nominal and 12ah each......but for now i wanted to go cheap and used 4 walmart batteries 105 ah 12v. I can return these anytime for exchange if I have any issues so thats a plus.
