all those satellites and impactors are not needed to find out whether the Moon has water. Of course the Moon has water. Loads of it. Clouds have been seen, so there is also a decnt atmosphere. If NASA would simply point the Hubble scope or the Keyhole scope toward the Moon, they will be able to discover water. But to detonate a nuke near Clavius is simply stupid. If a nuke helps in finding water, then why not nuking the Sahara? Nuking water makes it radioactive. So why try find it?
