@PierreRv90 bueno, habría sido BASTANTE bkn seguir escuchando más discos thrash o heavy... y cuando digo bastante quiero decir ESPECTACULAR... no necesariamente hay q cambiarse de estilo para "no estancarse", se puede explorar dentro de un mismo estilo... cada disco explora nuevas fronteras musicales... se puede evolucionar tanto cambiando de estilo, como quedandose en el mismo y explorando.

@RodHammett95 Por supuesto que se puede, por eso llegaron al Groove, el problema es que las bandas de thrash muy dificilmente cambian o evolucionan, el problema con las bandas de metal es que le tienen miedo al cambio, por eso no salen de un Genero, quienes han dicho "¡a la mierda todo!" y han cambiado muchos les ha ido mal si, pero algunos lo han hecho magistralmente como Metallica,Therion o Pantera en mi opinion es mejor el cambio, aunque no demerito a quienes no cambian mucho como Megadeth.

si bien no me gustan mucho esos discos, valoro (y cmo dije, respeto y admiro) la valentia de hacer musica diferente sin preocuparse por lo que digan los demas. Saludos!

Hmmm... not really. It just wasn't distorted. To be honest, I'm a hardcore Metallica fan but I loved the production on the black album, including the bass. I don't like it when Metallica distort their bass to shit *cough*deathmagnetic*cough*

I found Death Magnetic was missing something, it just didn't sound "finished", and most of the Songs sounded quite similar.

I guessed it was missing Bass, or something to do with it, just like ...And Justice for All (1988); that lacked Bass, and all the Songs sounded similar aswell.

I think the bass levels were stupid, I really hated the production of Death Magnetic, it is a mess. You have a snare drum that's WAY too loud (Lars' fault) fuzzy guitars, horrible bass compression and worst of all the loudness war shit sound quality

@ToaJoe, I agree. I always joke that Justice was the best musically but the worst sonically whereas the black album had the best production but with the songs not quite as worthy.

In fairness to Metallica, the lack of bass on ...and Justice for All was to symbolize the passing of Cliff and that nobody could replace him (as well as making a point that a world without justice is like a band without a bass).
