This commercial is stupid. Why is the ES, a midsized luxury car, being compare to entry-level luxury cars like the BMW 3 series Merc C class and Audi A4? And why did they leave out the G37? Oh yea that's right because if they added the G in the mix they'd have no claim. What's even more had it been compared to its true rivals, 5 series E class A6, then this commercial would be completely irrelevant. Bad advertising
@92camryle i agree with u.....we have a hater on her markn1937 cant take it because alot of people like toyota/lexus cars......sorry i am a american that buys toyotas because i know i will be happy and that my car will out lasts american, etc
@markn1937....shut the fuck up im not a traitor because i like japanese cars lexus/toyota has been one of the best cars we ever own and very reliable......dont be mad because i like cars that are made well and lasts longer than american crap
@samehjapan Don't have to and don't want to. Merc and BMW combined outsold Lexus by 25,000 cars IN JAPAN last year. And they've done that in spite of Japanese protectionism.
the questions should of been. which one is only available with fwd? which one is an over priced camry? which one is driven on avg buy ppl over the age of 65?
Lexus fans do yourself a favor, buy a used one owner Lexus LS and save your money. Chances are your old anyways, so use your money for more vacations!!!
Buying a used Lexus makes sense(if your looking for a luxury appliance), buying a new Lexus is pure stupidity(buying a new car usually is, including the German rivals). People always justify Lexus value with features and lower starting price but they forget just how much of the car is brought over from a sub 25k Toyota, and at that point its obvious why its cheaper. The only Lexus that I've ever really liked is the LFA(its a quality car through and through), problem is it costs 400k...
@m19921992 Lexus does use the same platforms as their Toyota counterparts, but it stops their. Suspension, sound padding, interiors, gadgets, engines, and basically everything else in the car is compeltely Lexus.
@92CamryLE I'll give you that, however using a Toyota platform saves about 25-35% of production costs. Meaning that even though the Lexus is a few grand cheap than a German rival, the only reason its even that close in price is because Lexus can get away with it because Lexus buyers general don't know or care that they do that. So in reality the Lexus should have a significant price advantage, otherwise Lexus is technically overpriced.
@m19921992 For example, take a $40k BMW and a $37k Lexus. BMW might make $2k on that car and Lexus would make $7k on their car. That means the price difference should be closer to 25% instead of 10%. I'll admit, it makes them more money, but the product isn't as good.
@92CamryLE And Lexus does use more than just the platform. They borrow Engines, switches/knobs/buttons, pedals, transmissions, brakes, A/C, airbags and safety equipment, occasionally even dashboards, consoles and door panels. And lower end models might even borrow more.
The German Rivals are better end of story. I got to this video because I was looking at the new GS (which might be good) but honestly Lexus falls short almost all the time and the comments on these videos really show that your typical Lexus buyer doesn't pay attention to detail. Honestly who could actually say the Lexus IS is better than a 3 Series?(nobody ought to be that thick)
Lexus is the most reliable, refined, price-feature ratio out of all these. Audi, BMW, Mercedes are known for not being reliable and there option list is just ridiculous. The Lexus comes with the features as standard with all the quality you will ever need, with great customer service and a car that will give a quality ride.
Not jiggly and uncomfortable like the German rivals
@UFCextra keep on haten with ur comments we all know what fucking car will outlast in the end in terms of quality, reliablity, and resale value....yes a lexus and if u cant take that fact shove your stupid comments up your ass
DarkAltiar.......very true and all the haters knows it thats why they cant face it So they put up stupid fuckin negative comments.....come on haters keep on hatin toyota ,lexus will still be the most reliable number one automakers in the world
uh not really, they are built on two completely different models, Lexus primarily focuses on luxury where as Benz focuses on more sport aspects, no one buys a lexus in place of a mercedes because you can't compare the two like that, yes its cheaper, but it gives differently than mercedes, you can compare like acura and lexus, or bmw and merecedes, but no one buys a lexus just cuz they want something like a benz
Just trying to get my name out there. I post videos everyday containing news about cars. I post everything from Ford's new fusion to the first crash of a production LFA. Check it out if you're interested.
Wow, in just twenty years Lexus has made a huge reputation for itself.
@92CamryLE YEAH A BAD ONE! THESE AUTOS ARE DEATHTRAPS AND THE MANUFACTURER STILL PANDERS THEIR JUNK TO UNSUSPECTING AMERICANS LIKE YOURSELF SO SORRY FOR YOU
@markn1937 Why did you bother to scroll through pages of comments on a Lexus ad? Anyways, their reputation is actually one of the best in the business. Toyota is #1 in car brand perception with Lexus at 9th place.
@92CamryLE SO THAT IS WHY GM IS #1IN WORLD SALES? BUY AMERICAN OR BE A TRAITOR TO AMERICA JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN BAMBOOZLE CONSUMER REPORT TO GIVE THEM GOOD REVIEWS DOESN'T MAKE THEM GOOD CARS ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY HAVE SOOOO MANY RECALLS ONE HAS TO WONDER ABOUT ALL THE PROBLEMS THAT ARE HIDDEN ie RUSTED FRAMES AND SPARE TIRES THAT FALL OUT AND STICKY GAS PETALS AND FLOOR MATS THE MOVE SHOULD I GO ON? KEEP THE MONEY HERE IN AMERICA SO IT CAN HELP AMERICANS
@markn1937 Hey buddy, why don't you lift your finger from the shift key, or completely remove caps lock from your keyboard. It's not making you look mature in any way shape or form. GM i number one in sales, they are a great company, they are huge in China and America, two of the biggest markets. Also, Toyota is still recovering from the bullshit recalls, and the natural disasters in Japan. I expect 2012 to be very different. The recalls were about one faulty system. One system they happen
@92CamryLE those are the recalls that were made public what about the truck recall for rotted frames that was never made public? who knows what else they are hiding ps If you believe what any publication says perhaps you need to go back to school those japs are connieving dieceitfull bastards you should be ashamed to own any thing from asia
@markn1937 Actually, it was pretty public. So what, Toyota used some shitty steel? They made a mistake, it's over and done with. You have to believe some type of facts right? I think out of the tens of reputable auto reviewers and news coverage, I think some just might be telling the truth. The only one I'm skeptical of is Motortrend. And, your border line racist generalizations aren't making you look any more mature. But, thanks for heeding the tip about the capitalizing.
@markn1937 Well for one thing. Ford was on top of the recall list this year, followed by Toyota and Honda. GM and Chrysler avoided recalls though, which is good. Recalls, don't effect the general performance of the vehicle in statistics and press because those recalls don't effect them when they are brand new, and they don't effect all of the cars produced. 1 million Toyota's may be recalled for rusty frames. But that's because they can't specify which trucks are defects.
@92CamryLE LETS GO BACK TO 2007 AND LOOK! AT THE TOTALS. REGARDLESS OF RECALLS THE DOMESTIC PRODUCT KEEPS THE MONEY HERE IN AMERICA, I PREFER TO SUPPORT MY NEIGHBOR APPARENTLY TOYOTA OWNERS DO NOT FEEL THE SAME TOO BAD FOR THEM DRIVING SUBSTANDARD CARS AND HATED BY TRUE AMERICANS
@thegreenster224 STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES GOOD LUCK YOU MIGHT WANT TO SUBSCRIBE TO AAA AND HAVE A GOOD BODY SHOP. TRUE AMERICANS WILL LEAVE YOU A MESSAGE IN YOUR PAINT
@markn1937 to implement on many of their vehicles. Guess what? They sell a lot of vehicles which means a lot of recalls, no? NASA and NHTSA could not find anything wrong with the system regardless. And it's not just Consumer Reports that holds them high, Intellichoice, KBB, Edmunds, and the entire country as a whole. I guess they must pay citizens to write good reviews about them right? They must pay all of the auto news/reviewers too right? Toyota has had a serious problem with rust, everyone
@92CamryLE one would wonder if there were sooo many recalls why would these publications give them good ratings????? MONEY! ps most inteligent people hate asian cars. go back to your sales desk and figure out how you might be able to step up to selling good american cars instead!
@markn1937 According to you: Majority of American citizens are not intelligent because majority of citizens have Toyoa/Honda marked very well in perception. (they think well of those companies.) According to Consumer Reports who surveyed adults via phone call. I guess they just ignored anybody who said American cars were good right? Where are you getting your statistic? Tell me. Enlighten me. I'd like to think of my teachers as smart people right? Well, two of them will never drive American.
@92CamryLE personal experiance! used to think like you then I owned one let me tell you never again, 3 alternators, rotted core support and rocker panels at 5 years plus what I consider excessive repairs. Just pointing out as consumer reports gave this car good ratings. More importantly, regardless of quality, I prefer to help american companys employing americans, this means all the way from the top jot just the assembly line workers . quit sending money crapan! we need it here!
@markn1937 Why would you replace the alternator three times within 5 years? That is under warranty. And you've only owned 1? My immediate family has owned 7, and my extended family has dozens more. All of them have been more than reliable, BUT, why would you believe me? I'm just trying to support myself, and for all you know, I could be lying which is what I think of you. Which is why, you should use reputable facts and statistics. You do realize that somebody has to make the cars,
@92CamryLE NO 3 YEARS OR 36000 MILES OBVIOUSLY STUPIDITY RUNS IN YOUR FAMILY TOO.SO SORRY FOR YOU NO CURE FOR STUPIDITY YET, PERHAPS A HAMMER TO THE HEAD SEVERAL TIMES?
@markn1937 Actually, most warranties are 60 Month, 60,000 miles. Hybrids even have 8 Year/100,000 mile warranty. Dealer's sometimes extend these warranties as well. - Toyota Website <~~~ Hey, look at that, do you know what it is? It's a source, something you obviously have no experience with.
@markn1937 If you really care about the economy that badly, why don't you stop driving? You know how much dependency we have on foreign oil? You could do your part by not using it. Y'know since you keep preaching it.
@92CamryLE why don't you stop tring to justify stupidity! ps I leave messages in the paint of all toyotas I can. door dents or just plain smash the fender...everbody loves it!
@92CamryLE especially when they try to make people believe that helping a foreign economy is the thing to do. they rounded people like you up in world war two too bad your parents were allowed to mate
@markn1937 build the plant, support the plant with electricty and plumbing, stock its vending machines, manage the facility and maintain it? You do realize, somebody built the facilities, and the facilities that make the parts for the cars? You do realize somebody is paid to transport these items to the plants? You do realize somebody is paid to bring these cars to dealers? You do realize that people own and operate these dealers, and work at selling these cars? Guess who these people are?
@markn1937 The profit goes to Toyota, who spends it on R&D for cars to be made in America. They use that money to open new factories here, to do all the things I listed. And actually, plenty of Toyota's new vehicles are being designed in California. Fremont, I believe. I don't think you realize how ridiculous you sound. What's so special about Subaru that makes gay people like them? How are they marketed specifically to gays? I think all cars are marketed towards gays, most of us have TV's.
@92CamryLE for the last time as I have stated over and over the profit goes to crapan! you see the corporate offices are in crapan. the people who design the cars are in crapan, the engineers when they are not stealing ideas are in guess what crapan and you promote americans to send money to their economy? why would you do that? do you not like america? perhaps you should move there! me I believe in america and will continue to defend her!
@92CamryLE FIRST OF ALL I'M NOT THE ONE WHO POSTED ON THE INTERNET ABOUT SUBARUS JUST REPEATING WHAT I READ. SECOND, HERE IS A CONCEPT EVEN YOUR PEA BRAINED LEXUS LOVING MIND CAN UNDERSTAND, MAYBE. YOU BUY A TOYOTA/LEXUS THE PROFIT GOES TO CRAPAN, THEN GETS PAID TO AN EMPLOYEE, HE SPENDS IT IN THE LOCAL SUSHI SHOP, THE SHOP OWNER PAYS HIS EMPLOYEES WHO SPENDS THAT MONEY ON SOMETHING, AND SO ON HENCE THE PROBLEM WITH THE TRADE DEFICIT. THIS WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM IF THEY SUPPORTED OUR ECONOMY.
@markn1937 Your arguments are ridiculous. Sure, some of the profits go to Toyota headquarters. But they pay taxes in America. They employ American workers. At the end of the day, I care more about the American factory worker who makes cars at a Nissan factory in Tennessee then the filthy rich Ford executive who gets money from Fords built in Mexico.
@92CamryLE so the profit stays here and helps the college graduates earn a living here? YOU KNOW THE ONES WHO HAVE SHOWN THRU EDUCATION THAT THEY CAN DESIGN PRODUCTS AND KEEP THE MONEY HERE IN AMERICA TRY AGAIN ITO, NO INTELLIGENT AMERICAN WILL BELIEVE THAT LOAD OF CRAP
@markn1937 AMERICANS. So, while I bought a Toyota made here with 80% American parts (Tundra) Many others own a Silverado, possibly built in Mexico with 61% American parts. Or, bought an F 150 with 60% American parts. Even the Dodge Ram reg cab is made in Mexico with 70% American parts. You could also look at cars like the Edge and Flex that are made in Canada. Ok? It isn't just Consumer Reports that rates Japan as #1 in quality, it's many other news posts as well. Besides, Consumer Reports gets
@markn1937 most of its data from us, the consumers. I didn't realize only gays drive Japanese cars? If that was true, how are my parents my parents? What exactly am I looking up? If Americans are so stupid, why are they building cars? Maybe that's why we are buying Japanese cars... And Toyota sells cars because they have a rep for being reliable, fuel efficient, high quality, and comfortable. That's why they sell cars. Majority of people don't even realize how "American" they are.
@markn1937 And 70% of my faculty parking lot is filled with Subaru, Honda and Toyota vehicles. (A lot of Subarus) I honestly, don't know what you mean by your last statement, but the Japanese sell A LOT of cars, so I dont know what you're getting at. Americans make good cars, they price them well, they are appealing and most importantly they have history. Something the Japanese are developing which is only bringing them success.
@92CamryLE SO 70% OF THE PEOPLE YOU WORK WITH ARE HOMOSEXUALS?LOOK IT UP! YOU MUST LIVE IN CALIFORNICATION! PS THEY SELL A LOT OF CARS BECAUSE AMERICANS ARE TOO STUPID TO REALIZE THE RAMIFICATIONS OF THEIR PURCHASE, AND THEN YOU HAVE TOYOTA TRING TO BAMBOOZLE AMERICANS INTO BELIEVING TOYOTA IS AN AMERICAN CAR COMPANY, IT'S NOT! THE PROFIT GOES BACK TO CRAPAN! A SOCIALIST COUNTRY THAT SELLS CARS HERE FOR LESS THAN IT COST THEM TO MANUFACTURE JUST TO KEEP THEIR PEOPLE WORKING
@markn1937 Please, tell me where you're getting your facts. I'd love to know. And, is there something wrong with being gay? Actually, if you go back to 2007, domestics were worse. That's near the end of their worst period of manufacturing awful cars, when they realized that they need to turn around. That's when they finally started making cars in America again. And I think your shift key is stuck again. If you love American cars so much, why don't you watch any videos of them, all I see is Lexus
@92CamryLE yes it's deviant behavior! being normalized in our culture. to bad AIDS failed to stop this deviant behavior you need to stop listening to the people who continue to undermine our country by sending money to foreign countries when people here need jobs you need to support your neighbor! PS the facts are all around you all you have to do is open your closed mind
@markn1937 has their recall at some point. Remember Honda's airbag systems? Or GM's 6.7 million recall on engine mounts? How about Ford's two massive recalls of 7.9 Million, and 6.5 million for steering columns that would ignite, or the tires that they deflated? All automakers make mistakes, massive mistakes. But, that doesn't mean they are a bad company. Toyota's only matters because it was the most recent.
@92CamryLE 15 million....that's the number of autos recalled by toyota! quit tring to defend a purely bad auto company and have some pride in your countrys industry. ps if you want to know what stupid looks like stand in front of a mirror
@UFCextra me wrong, but the prices for the same features that lexus gives as standard were ridiculous. And when i had to get it repaired quite a few times, it cost a fortune. Lexus has very reliable cars that have a smooth ride and great interior. Thats why I switched and haven't regretted a thing.
If anything, this commercial makes me consider an audi, bmw or mercedes, before i considered some joke lexus..this commercial is so rediculously stupid
People who bash Lexus, obviously has nevered owned one. The ES may not be the sportiest car but sure is a very smooth and luxurious ride. The interior is amazing and includes features stamdard that BMW you would have to pay extra. Just cause its German, doesn't make it good.
@drishi a Lexus are for old boring people. Clearly you never drove a BMW that is stiff. Infiniti has a more on the stiff ride because its a sports car. Never been there with anything huh? G37x is the same category as a ES. It has 328 HP which ES has wayyy less. All wheel drive which ES doesnt have. The only two most important things that a car should have. Then u say they never been there with anything. Clearly Lexus is cheap because it wont put AWD because it is more money than FWD.
I think the Lexus ES is one of the sleekest luxury cars out there. Its not a sports sedan like the A4, C class or 3 series, Thats where the IS competes with, but in terms of space, features and comfort the Lexus ES is hard to beat at that price.
People dont understand this car for what it is. Only Luxury and comfort its not supposed to be a sports sedan! That is the Lexus IS!
Love Lexus... but also love how the BMW in the video was a 3 series, not the 5 series. Also loved how the Audi had no LEDs, and even if it did, it had the lights covered almost the whole time. haha
To those people that say it is just a dressed up Camry are wrong, I've rented a Camry and I drive the Japanese car's when they come of the car ship's into Canada (check out my car ship vid's) . It may be built on the same platform but it doesn't drive the same and it isn't as comfortable...when you drive the ES everything is soft, and it is so quite inside and it smells nice. I've wanted to buy one for a few years but I've been waiting for a new design.
@markn1937 Hey buddy, why don't you stop gawking over Lexus commercials and get back to NASCAR. You don't even have an excuse because there's no American cars with a high enough level of refinement to even be mentioned in this commercial. So, pick up your beer and get back to watching your American cars die a quick death.
@92CamryLE HAVEN'T WATCHED NASCAR SINCE THEY LET TOYOTA IN AS THEY ARE NOT A NORTH AMERICAN COMPANY REGARDLESS IF THEY AVOID THE TARIFFS BY ASSEMBLING THEM HERE. THE ONLY THING TO DIE A QUICK DEATH IS OUR MANUFACTURING CAPACITY AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE TO BLAME...THIS IS WHY PEOPLE LIKE YOU DRIVE CARS WITH A LOSER SYMBOL IN THE GRILL SO EVERY ONE KNOWS WHAT KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE
@markn1937 Can you tell me what the two most american cars are according to Cars? Well with 80% American parts, and being built in America it's the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Can you believe that the only truck that follows the true definition of a domestic, is a Toyota? Which is why it's the only truck to make the top ten. Honestly, you should stay away from the Lexus videos you seem to have such a strong desire for, they are messing with your head. Make some tea, and lay down ok?
@djeminescu really? it still does not even look a quarter as good as the others, bmw, mercedes, audi. i love lexus, but this is the ugliest car they have by FAR
@djeminescu are they going to or have they already? doesnt really look anything like it in this video. looks almost EXACTLY like the toyota camry. If i wanted to buy a car thats 40k id rather not have it look like a 20k car.
@adamY2K search up Camry and search up ES, in the same colour. You do know this was originally based of the Camry design and they use the same chassis.
@iNad3r Yes I do know that but it is so heavily revised, that they are completely different. The ES is quiter and smoother than the original LS as said by Lexus, The Camry isnt though. You do know an Audi A3 is the same as a VW GOLF, and you do know a VW toureg has the same chassis as a porsche cayenne. It applies to many cars.
@iNad3r What? If you were referring to the GS in the link I posted then you must be blind to think it looks like a camry. It's about as far away as you could get and this new design language makes newer Lexus models stand out more then any Audi, BMW, and a few Mercs. Have you seen the LF-LC? That's what they're headed for now and I thing the 2013 GS F Sport does a good job in adopting the new design elements.
This commercial is stupid. Why is the ES, a midsized luxury car, being compare to entry-level luxury cars like the BMW 3 series Merc C class and Audi A4? And why did they leave out the G37? Oh yea that's right because if they added the G in the mix they'd have no claim.
92CamryLE 3 weeks ago
@92CamryLE one would wonder if there were sooo many recalls why would these publications give them good ratings????? MONEY! ps most inteligent people hate asian cars. go back to your sales desk and figure out how you might be able to step up to selling good american cars instead!
markn1937 3 weeks ago
@markn1937 According to you: Majority of American citizens are not intelligent because majority of citizens have Toyoa/Honda marked very well in perception. (they think well of those companies.) According to Consumer Reports who surveyed adults via phone call. I guess they just ignored anybody who said American cars were good right? Where are you getting your statistic? Tell me. Enlighten me. I'd like to think of my teachers as smart people right? Well, two of them will never drive American.
92CamryLE 3 weeks ago
@92CamryLE personal experiance! used to think like you then I owned one let me tell you never again, 3 alternators, rotted core support and rocker panels at 5 years plus what I consider excessive repairs. Just pointing out as consumer reports gave this car good ratings. More importantly, regardless of quality, I prefer to help american companys employing americans, this means all the way from the top jot just the assembly line workers . quit sending money crapan! we need it here!
markn1937 3 weeks ago
@markn1937 Why would you replace the alternator three times within 5 years? That is under warranty. And you've only owned 1? My immediate family has owned 7, and my extended family has dozens more. All of them have been more than reliable, BUT, why would you believe me? I'm just trying to support myself, and for all you know, I could be lying which is what I think of you. Which is why, you should use reputable facts and statistics. You do realize that somebody has to make the cars,

You do realize somebody is paid to bring these cars to dealers? You do realize that people own and operate these dealers, and work at selling these cars? Guess who these people are?

@92CamryLE where does the profit go? who designed them? who styled them? enough said BUY AMERICAN!
markn1937 2 weeks ago
@markn1937 The profit goes to Toyota, who spends it on R&D for cars to be made in America. They use that money to open new factories here, to do all the things I listed. And actually, plenty of Toyota's new vehicles are being designed in California. Fremont, I believe. I don't think you realize how ridiculous you sound. What's so special about Subaru that makes gay people like them? How are they marketed specifically to gays? I think all cars are marketed towards gays, most of us have TV's.
92CamryLE 2 weeks ago
@92CamryLE for the last time as I have stated over and over the profit goes to crapan! you see the corporate offices are in crapan. the people who design the cars are in crapan, the engineers when they are not stealing ideas are in guess what crapan and you promote americans to send money to their economy? why would you do that? do you not like america? perhaps you should move there! me I believe in america and will continue to defend her!
markn1937 2 weeks ago

@92CamryLE WHERE DOES THE PROFIT GO? HERE? NO TO CRAPAN! BUY AMERICAN!
markn1937 2 weeks ago
@markn1937 most of its data from us, the consumers. I didn't realize only gays drive Japanese cars? If that was true, how are my parents my parents? What exactly am I looking up? If Americans are so stupid, why are they building cars? Maybe that's why we are buying Japanese cars... And Toyota sells cars because they have a rep for being reliable, fuel efficient, high quality, and comfortable. That's why they sell cars. Majority of people don't even realize how "American" they are.

@92CamryLE NO GAYS PREFER SUBARUS! LOOK IT UP THEY ARE MARKETED TO THEM!
markn1937 2 weeks ago
@markn1937 And 70% of my faculty parking lot is filled with Subaru, Honda and Toyota vehicles. (A lot of Subarus) I honestly, don't know what you mean by your last statement, but the Japanese sell A LOT of cars, so I dont know what you're getting at. Americans make good cars, they price them well, they are appealing and most importantly they have history. Something the Japanese are developing which is only bringing them success.
92CamryLE 3 weeks ago
A SOCIALIST COUNTRY THAT SELLS CARS HERE FOR LESS THAN IT COST THEM TO MANUFACTURE JUST TO KEEP THEIR PEOPLE WORKING
markn1937 3 weeks ago
@markn1937 Please, tell me where you're getting your facts. I'd love to know. And, is there something wrong with being gay? Actually, if you go back to 2007, domestics were worse. That's near the end of their worst period of manufacturing awful cars, when they realized that they need to turn around. That's when they finally started making cars in America again. And I think your shift key is stuck again. If you love American cars so much, why don't you watch any videos of them, all I see is Lexus

92CamryLE 3 weeks ago
@92CamryLE 15 million....that's the number of autos recalled by toyota! quit tring to defend a purely bad auto company and have some pride in your countrys industry. ps if you want to know what stupid looks like stand in front of a mirror

@UFCextra me wrong, but the prices for the same features that lexus gives as standard were ridiculous. And when i had to get it repaired quite a few times, it cost a fortune. Lexus has very reliable cars that have a smooth ride and great interior. Thats why I switched and haven't regretted a thing.

People who bash Lexus, obviously has nevered owned one. The ES may not be the sportiest car but sure is a very smooth and luxurious ride. The interior is amazing and includes features stamdard that BMW you would have to pay extra. Just cause its German, doesn't make it good.

drishi 1 month ago
@drishi a Lexus are for old boring people. Clearly you never drove a BMW that is stiff. Infiniti has a more on the stiff ride because its a sports car. Never been there with anything huh? G37x is the same category as a ES. It has 328 HP which ES has wayyy less. All wheel drive which ES doesnt have. The only two most important things that a car should have. Then u say they never been there with anything. Clearly Lexus is cheap because it wont put AWD because it is more money than FWD.
allenNYinfiniti 4 weeks ago
those cars arent even in the ES's class it would be the IS.
sphenct15 1 month ago
I think the Lexus ES is one of the sleekest luxury cars out there. Its not a sports sedan like the A4, C class or 3 series, Thats where the IS competes with, but in terms of space, features and comfort the Lexus ES is hard to beat at that price.
People dont understand this car for what it is. Only Luxury and comfort its not supposed to be a sports sedan! That is the Lexus IS!

92CamryLE 3 weeks ago
@92CamryLE HAVEN'T WATCHED NASCAR SINCE THEY LET TOYOTA IN AS THEY ARE NOT A NORTH AMERICAN COMPANY REGARDLESS IF THEY AVOID THE TARIFFS BY ASSEMBLING THEM HERE. THE ONLY THING TO DIE A QUICK DEATH IS OUR MANUFACTURING CAPACITY AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE TO BLAME...THIS IS WHY PEOPLE LIKE YOU DRIVE CARS WITH A LOSER SYMBOL IN THE GRILL SO EVERY ONE KNOWS WHAT KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE
markn1937 3 weeks ago
@markn1937 Can you tell me what the two most american cars are according to Cars? Well with 80% American parts, and being built in America it's the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Can you believe that the only truck that follows the true definition of a domestic, is a Toyota? Which is why it's the only truck to make the top ten. Honestly, you should stay away from the Lexus videos you seem to have such a strong desire for, they are messing with your head. Make some tea, and lay down ok?
92CamryLE 3 weeks ago
You really need to give this hideous car a new design. The interior is amazing but almost all competitors look better.

But if you don't like the styling then whatever because all of this is perceptual anyway.
djeminescu 1 month ago
@djeminescu are they going to or have they already? doesnt really look anything like it in this video. looks almost EXACTLY like the toyota camry. If i wanted to buy a car thats 40k id rather not have it look like a 20k car.
iNad3r 1 month ago
@iNad3r How does it look anything like a camry :S
adamY2K 1 month ago
@adamY2K search up Camry and search up ES, in the same colour. You do know this was originally based of the Camry design and they use the same chassis.
iNad3r 1 month ago
@iNad3r Yes I do know that but it is so heavily revised, that they are completely different. The ES is quiter and smoother than the original LS as said by Lexus, The Camry isnt though. You do know an Audi A3 is the same as a VW GOLF, and you do know a VW toureg has the same chassis as a porsche cayenne. It applies to many cars.
adamY2K 1 month ago
@adamY2K I mean the look of ES and Camry. Their exterior is almost the same.
iNad3r 1 month ago
@iNad3r What? If you were referring to the GS in the link I posted then you must be blind to think it looks like a camry. It's about as far away as you could get and this new design language makes newer Lexus models stand out more then any Audi, BMW, and a few Mercs. Have you seen the LF-LC? That's what they're headed for now and I thing the 2013 GS F Sport does a good job in adopting the new design elements.
