My opinion : New Years celebration is not a Christian holiday, it is a celebration of a new year... We celebrated... and we did ask God for blessings... but there is time to cry and time to have fun... New Years was a time to have fun...
There was a one hour service before the whole "celebration" part started which was very blessed and where we all had a chance to thank God for the previous year and ask blessings for the new one.
I have no problem of making fun of myself... I am a simple and artistic guy... I show what really is... These videos are exaggerated but they are for entertainment... Many people were entertained... These are clean videos... nothing un-Christian about them... just a translation of our "slavic" culture here in America... I find our culture interesting and sometimes hilarious... :) But of course this is my own opinion... :)

@harikyou Your post is a great example of the problem, I never judged your lifestyle or who you are, but you on the other side stated that you exposed my lifestyle. I lived in US for almost 20 years, I came from a family of four boys, both my father and mother worked in US all the time except the first 6 month when we came here. Me and my wife both work and lived in a house that we purchased 7 years ago, our family has medical insurance, pays taxes, Eco conscious and don't drive a Honda

You took on yourself to make fun of people that have large family, wear kosinke and with a all of that representing a church. Besides the point that this is a shame for a christian church to associate them self with junk like this, we never asked you to make fun of our community, our culture, I care less how you look or what you drive. @TheKitten1220 by the way, that is my backyard... and I am proud to be a total Russian... but I am not embarrassed to show it or say it... THIS IS WHO WE ARE! We Slavic people can't hide our culture... so my group of buddies and I decided to make a couple hilarious clips about us... We are just exposing who we really are when we are not sitting with our "kasinki" and looking holy in church... We actually have a pretty chill life/culture outside of church... :)

All of the actors are humble and chill guys... We love our culture but we think Russian culture is hilarious looking from another person's point of view... My personal opinion is that showing all those comedy clips in a Christian church that claims to be Pentecostal I think is a bit too far. You guys should have set up a strong prayer and asked God for deep blessings and mercy for 2010 and not have your celebration full of laughter and comedy. It seems like there is no difference now between the world and Slavic Christians too. Secondly, look who you're making fun of. Yourself. Your own people. Yes it's a joke. I understand.America isn't any better

My opinion : New Years celebration is not a Christian holiday, it is a celebration of a new year... We celebrated... and we did ask God for blessings... but there is time to cry and time to have fun... New Years was a time to have fun...
There was a one hour service before the whole "celebration" part started which was very blessed and where we all had a chance to thank God for the previous year and ask blessings for the new one.

I have no problem of making fun of myself... I am a simple and artistic guy... I show what really is... These videos are exaggerated but they are for entertainment... Many people were entertained... These are clean videos... nothing un-Christian about them... just a translation of our "slavic" culture here in America... I find our culture interesting and sometimes hilarious... :) But of course this is my own opinion... :)
