    no no thank,,,

i dont like this buick car

  • I'm surprised no one has mentioned that 3.6 V-6 is a joke the engine blow sup and they use them in Malibu Camaro Traverse/Acadia/Enclave and a few other vehicles. I know my dealership has replaced several of them already. 3.0 V-6 has no power at all . the 4cylinder your going no where when you floor this thing. I thought GM was going away with the push rod engine thats what I was told. I still see them...

  • Only Europeans make good cars. And I don't say that cause I'm European... =P

  • მაგარია

  • Americans need to buy American cars to put the money back in the Economy so you can stop complaining about recessions and Bail outs.

  • The interior doesn't look as well thought out as the REGAL's. I also think this car needs more power. A Car this large shouldn't roll out with anything less than 300HP.

  • @dslcobra Its a mid-size car based on the Malibu, not what I consider big lol. 280 is plenty in this thing 20hp more than the larger fwd Taurus.

  • @dslcobra Well the regal is obviously much more thought out than the lacross all together. The only thing that attracts me to the lacross is the chance at a Buick with awd. However I find the regal a much cooler fun to drive looking car that clearly puts Buick on the map. and as far a horsepower, lol.........300 horsepower? i drive a 2000 Nissan quest, 300 hp is ridiculous when i can easily get a ticket going 80 with 170 hp in a late model minivan lol

  • @deedundone

Frankly, I think American cars should be limited to 75 mph - this way, there possibility of going to 100 becomes impossible and no one could possibly face arrest or license revoke over high speeding. But no one would go for that. All these cars need is enough power to go from 0 -60 in 7 seconds or less. For highway entrance purposes.

  • @dslcobra No I disagree. 75 miles per hour? Lame.......and it would have to be 80, because of the speed limits in Texas. if people want to go 100 then let them get their license revoked, why should we care about them? Personally i think the speed limmits on certain express ways should just be raised. The one i most often drive is set as 65 but is a spotty mess because they throw up random 55s all over and state police use it as a speed trap. jst set the entire think at 70 and no problems?

  • @deedundone

Keep in mind that a more extreme method that could possibly become law - for energy efficiency- is to limit cars to 65 mph. I agree, I think speed limits in certain places should be raised.

  • @dslcobra That sounds disgusting and un-american. 65 itself is slow. I can commute safely at 75 on an open un congested expressway. I love Texas where they have 70 day 65 night and 80 mph speed limits. As far as fuel efficiency people driving Dodge Rams and giant fords dont care anyways, and capping speed will certainly piss them off more than anything. Id tell them buy a vehicle that gets 40 miles per gallon or we cap speed, better yet, tax the crap out of them? Its really just a mess lol :)

  • Is there anything on You Tube that people won't argue over? The funny thing is, the majority of these people would NEVER talk this way to each other face to face. Keyboard gladiators.

  • @Simon5005 thats why we do it over youtube

  • how does this look asian? just another sad excuse for an insult that foreigners use to take their minds off the fact that us cars beat theirs.

    soo sad

  • @Inklebonker1 lets not get silly now.

  • @Diddstarpure silly? please

who's cars mostly win on the modern race circuits? american(mostly corvette ford gt and dodge viper) whose cars will beat any other car at half the price? American once again so please YOU don't get silly

  • @Inklebonker1 half the price for half the car made out of plastic and tin, and hang on mostly american cars win modern day race circuits i think not, F1 usually mclaren or ferrari le mans usually audi, rally usually citoren or subaru even american race car drivers who compete in these circuits arnt dumb enough to use plastic fast packed shite.

  • @Diddstarpure We aren't in F1, recently le man corvette, GT racing ford gt, and did you say rally because last time i checked it was 1st ford second Citroen third Citroen forth Citroen fifth ford and i can tell you probably get most of your facts from top gear because American cars aren't any more plastic than the euro and jap cars

  • @Inklebonker1 lets have 1 good handling supercar other than the ford gt.

  • @17cusTom your kidding right? how much top gear do you watch?

Dodge viper acr, Devon GTX, Saleen S7TT competition, Corvette ZR1, Mosler mt 900, Rossion Q1, SSC ultimate aero, and there are probably more than that. So what ford gt has a chassis from europe, lotus uses toyota engines, mercedes is using parts from the dodge viper, the Ultima GTR uses a chevy big block, and i have heard of more british cars with American parts. Your point is?

  • @Inklebonker1

dodve viper acr < porsche gt2

devon gtx = a viper that looks different

    saleen s7tt < ferrari 599xx/pagani zonda r

    corvette zr1 < porsche gt3 rs

    mosler mt900 < ariel atom/caterham 7

    rossion q1 = a nobel m600 which is british

ssc aero tt < bugatti veyron ss

mercedes benz sls can handle. and the quality is better than the viper.

my point is that europeans have do everything better. and they always have done it better.

  • @17cusTom viper never competed against the gt2, saleen s7 is street legal the Zonda r and the Ferrari aren't, corvette beat the gt3rs but the gt2rs beat the corvette, mosler mt900 i haven't seen go head to head with anyone but i bet it will beat them beat them, rossion bought the rights to the design of the car it isn't an American noble, the sls cant handle better than the viper acr with 1000lbs of down force i mean r u stupid.

    Cont-

  • @Inklebonker1 And if Europeans have the best of everything then why do we have the best military, fighter planes, ships, tanks and iv seen Jeremy Clarckson try to degrade the Hummer h1 but seriously that was just stupid. And then what about the American website your commenting on or the American pc/mac your using, or the American cell phones you talk on. One thing i would really like to see Europeans do is make a good pickup truck but o you guys don't do work so you dont need one.

  • @Inklebonker1 ahaha im talking about cars dipshit

btw land rover defender > hummer h1

  • @17cusTom hahahahhahahaha by the way look up d90 vs h1 dipshit

  • @17cusTom no no no even better look up hummer h1 defender d-max "val disere 2008

  • @Inklebonker1 land rover defenders are not for the army. hummers are. land rover has a lower curb weight, are easier to fix, get better mpg (if you know anything about off roading youll know the relevance of this), they are smaller, and are more manuverable, and theyre usable in a city environment.

for the army a hummers better. for the rest of the world, a defenders better.

  • @Inklebonker1

viper < gt2 im talking about nurburgring times

    saleen s7 < pagani zonda f / ferrari 599 gto

mosler mt900 is a very good car but ariel atom, caterham 7, and radical sr8 ss all turn better (i know the sr8 isnt street legal)

look it up on wikipedia. the rossion q1 is based on the british noble m400 (i know i said m600 but i meant 400)

    dodge viper acr - watch?v=hFm7Ig2LFdA

the guy even says its hard to handle.

  • @17cusTom Please dont start with the land rover vs hummer h1 talk because its really stupid some one else is trying that crap with me and it is extremely stupid. Can the land rover tow as much as the Humvee? carry as many people? literally go under water? Pull a Russian tank like personnel carrier(vid is on youtube) and climb up rocks? i dont think so.

I still havent seen the S7TT go up against the zonda or the gto but i do know S7 has a top speed of 250, with the mosler please just use CONT-

  • @Inklebonker1 CONT- actual street legal cars, with the Rossion, Rossion bought the rights to the look of the noble m400 to appeal to European buyers, ive seen the viper acr vid the guy says the car has alot of understeer and understeer is whats supposed to help you turn corners good.

  • @Inklebonker1 the noble came first. rossion copied. end of story.

the guy also says you need to be a seriously good driver to get the most out of it. or in other words, it handles badly.

  • @17cusTom you just really wont stop will you i disprove everything you say yet you keep going wow

  • @Inklebonker1 holy fuck you stupid fucking american fucker. its a BRITISH design. NOT american. buying rights is NOT gonna change the fact that the BRITISH designed it. suck it up. america fails once again

  • @Inklebonker1 open a fucking atlas you dipshit..i guess those would be pretty rare books in america. you know there are very strange and mystical places in the world that are NOT in america. i know, for someone with a pea sized brain like your self this might be hard to wrap your head around. but you know you should really consider learning some facts you stupid little bitch.

  • @17cusTom IM THE STUPID LITTLE BITCH WHEN YOUR THE ONE WHOSE ENTIRE PARAGRAPH IS A QUOTE FROM TOP GEAR!! Stupid!!!! i mean really are you people so stupid that you have to use a TV show to learn about other countries? Yes i know its a freekin British design but the entire car isn't British is what i was trying to tell you idiot! Damb your so stupid im just done talking with someone like you everything i said came with proof and you respond with worth nothing insults. Stupid!!

  • @Inklebonker1 i KNOW IT IS. dosent change the fact that its TRUE

  • @17cusTom you are a clueless idiot and im done talking to you

  • @Inklebonker1 bahahahahahahahaaha cause im right??? thought so

  • @17cusTom No because your a stupid little top gear fan boy who obviously knows nothing of what he is talking about.

PS in every American home i have been in there is a large library with several atlas and encyclopedia books so if you haven't been here don't try and sound smart by quoting a false television show, Im done talking with you!

  • @Inklebonker1 haaahahahahaahahahahaa

  • @Inklebonker1 btw the only reason the ford gt does handle well is cause it was developed in europe

  • @Boogonomotry no. GM.

  • Comment removed

  • One way of accepting your defeat and showing your inferiority is copying your rival. Buick have done a very fatal mistake, they just given Lexus a very valuable leverage. GM people are just plain old stupid idiots, they should resign and just get a job where they would all excel...Garbage and sanitation.

    FUCK YOU GENERAL MOTORS!

  • @Blitz4000

lol i totally agree with you!

  • I like this car....I think I will try one out!!

  • Americans definetly dont know how to build nice cars!

  • @kornaire And where do u get that from?

  • @kornaire Umm. This car beats out the Lexus ES350. Perhaps not in performance, but this 3.0 was their base engine.

  • this car reminds me of the new opel insignia

  • @sexypakiboy The lexus es is just a repackaged overpriced toyota camry. It practically shares everything together. The LaCrosse is a lot cheaper than the ES and it has the option of being AWD unlike the ES. And I'm sure the safety is way better than the toyota as i wouldn't have to worry about runaway cars and non-effective brakes xP

  • @sexypakiboy

Lexus's are over rated. Hopefully, your gas pedal won't stick and get you killed you time you go out.

  • @im1greatman

buick ;acrosse/enclave look like a japanese vehicles (infiniti/lexus) with an american badge...nice idea to attract patriotic rednecks who love japanese cars but didn't want to buy it because 'the japs made it'

  • @lavakava This is the second comment I've seen from you stating something about rednecks. Just so you know, everyone that likes this new vehicle is not a redneck. You have no valid points other than the car "looks" like something else. Please, bring a solid argument with you next time.

  • If anyone had.. "any sense".. they wouldn't pay attention to your douche-bag, Kool Aid drinking ass!

  • They should put the 3.6L v6 in this thing. They're stupid not to

  • wow u ppl dont like this? why it looks like a good car

  • @TheHm3 I do, i hate Buick with a passion, but starting in 2010 2011, the face and vehicles and design have entirely changed, except on that ugly Lucerne or whatever. I saw an enclave today and thought WOW, Buick is so cool now, lol. never thought Buick would become, "Cool" in a lifetime lol

  • When better cars are built,Buick will build them.

Great American car and one that will get GM back on its feet.

  • one is a lexus, the other is a lexus imitation. too bad gm you lost it already, you greedy bastards. go to china!

  • Great car.

  • VERY GOOD LOOKING car but, too slow!

  • looks like a toyota avalon lexus cross

  • Very nice new american made production car! Got new car style.

  • This car is not real american made,

Certainly it's an Opel Insignia engineered

    in Germany.

  • well the new vw jetta is mexican made and new cadillacs are made from the saab platform

  • no it's not.

  • @RickStylus: You do realize that Opel is a GM company, right?

  • Yea, however most of GM technology is provided by Opel from Germany;

it does mean... there's not a real american technology but German.

  • @RickStylus: That's true, but personally I don't see anything wrong with Buick's using an existing design from another GM division overseas and making minor tweaks to put it into showrooms here in the USA. It's a lot cheaper, not to mention faster, for them to do that then to come up with totally new models from scratch. I think this 2010 Lacrosse and the upcoming 2011 Regal are a good start to giving Buick the boost in sales it needs here. JMO

  • 0-60 in 8.1 seconds keeps it from running with the big boys off the line. I see this beautiful dependable car as something older gentlemen would love.

  • That's only with the 3.0. Get the 3.6 and it cuts a good second off the time.

  • The problem with designing a car to resemble a high-end Lexus, BMW or Benz is you can't have knock off pricing or the luxury car owners will view your car as a budget beater. The Hyundai Genesis is badass, but it's still badged as economized luxury. You won't get the swanky restaurant premium parking the 3 cars I mentioned get. On the other hand, you can't cheapen your brand by selling " affordable high-end luxury cars. Look at what happened to Jacguar.

  • i don't agree. people will view things the way that they want. shallow, but it doesn't validate anything. lexus concept was similar when it came out. give the consumer luxury but at a much cheaper price compared to BMW, which lexus copied in style anyways. it worked. Jaguar failed because they looked like the old Ford Taurus design.

  • @lavakava lexus dose look like toyota... because they are the same cars. who remembers when they had to re-do the tundra cuz they tryed to relese a truck that looked just like the gmc

  • My bmx bike wouid beat that guy cav that made that comment. Wallbanger dropdown from Philly.Lol

  • Never seen a new Buick handle so well! I love it!!!

  • if this is smooth as it suppose to be I will buy one but if they are must mimicking jap.style ride They lost a sale,, I love buicks suspension, no matter how they say about sharp handling is good. I love soft comfy ride of Buick.. and smoooooth

  • a buick that I like!

  • Actually it's not. The 2010 Buick Lacrosse rides on the extended wheelbase Epsilon II platform, while the Opel Insignia is on the Short Wheel Base (SWB) Epsilon II, and utilizes totally different engines. However the Opel Insignia will be sold in the U.S. market as the 2011 Buick Regal, which is already being sold in China. The Regal is infact the Opel Insignia with a Buick grill. The vehicle will initially be imported from germany before production begins in Oshawa, Ontario. Check your Facts!

  • They should slap a v8 in that thing!!!

  • gross

  • It is a pretty thing tho. In an understated way.

  • Performance seems a bit lackadaisical. I'd like to see performance figures of the 3.6L with the more elaborate suspension setup. But for that money, why not buy a CTS? I think GM made a retarded move by keeping Buick instead of Saturn or Pontiac.

  • Buick is really popular in China. The worlds fastest growing car market. It does have some sense in it.

  • 0-60 for the 3.6 LaCrosse is 6.7 seconds.

  • That's pretty good.

  • I don't know... I doubt that the people who buy the Buick are that performance minded.

  • Okay all it needs is a boosted 2.8 pushing 320 hp, blacked out paint job, and you have a Grand NAtional.

  • my cavalier will beat thins thing

  • i actually like it... what the hell is wrong with me

  • Buicks are suck but supposedly they are the best in reliability

  • Buick car are suck since 1980s , where are those luxury smooth large ships?

  • My 1997 Buick Park Avenue is a decent sized boat, gets 7.5l/100km doing 110km/h on the highway, and I rarely have to repair it.

  • why is buick still around... oh wait, china likes them lol.

  • This is a lower model for sure, it doesn't even have HID active bi-xenon headlamps. But the higer class CXL or CXS is beautifulllll

  • what is with rollout?

  • I believe it has something to do with NHRA official rules or something where they don't count the one foot rollout.

  • damn.. thats yet another piece of shit from buick.

  • A class leading piece of shit you must add.

  • Government Motors rules over American Freedom.

Most truely American vehcile company = Ford, 2nd most American is Toyota.

  • I never said government ownership of GM was a good thing. Toyota is not an American company by any stretch of the imagination.

  • No replacement for displacement. 3800 is far superior.

  • can someone explain to me the whole skidpad thing, i know somewhat about cars but i dont really understand this

    thanks

  • I'm not completely sure but I'll give you the best answer I have. The skidpad measurement is lateral g's. How many g's developed while turning. The greater the g's the "stickier" the car is. So great g's means that the car is staying more flat and turning much cleaner.

    I hope that helps.

  • i thought these buicks came with projector beams, or are they optional b/c this car doesnt have them....2's....

  • This was the Buick my dad wanted to buy 9 years ago. Instead he got a Le Sabre. Rides great, but that thing's been in the shop so many damn times, got the same window motor replaced 3 times and it still makes noise, and our GM dealer charges too much for everything. So they finally make a "better", but they've already lost some of their customers who would've wanted it.

  • Comment removed

  • wat do they mean by rollout??

  • instead of spinning tires, the give the car some momentum to better transition the power to the ground...like you accelerate better from 10mph than you do from 0...

  • starting the clock @ 5mph instead of 0mph.

  • so what buick sedan looks better than this in its history? the electra 225? thats 40 years old. you stupid car review dorks dont live in the real world! the 60s are over! LET THEM GO.

  • Pretty slow. Even a Honda Accord is faster in a straight line. For that kind of money why bother with a Buick, you could by a Toyota Avalon; which is a much better car.

  • LMAO!!! are u serious...a AVALON?!?!?!?!....

  • The name of this buick is a bad marketing move.

Cuz La crosse for french canadian means A Fraud. Which means that buying that car is like getting fraud by buick...

  • It's called the Allure in Canada

  • i don't think old people are going to like this LaCrosse too much

  • Its a BUICK. What the fuck do you ppl expect? 0-60 in 5 seconds?? Its a fucking buick, which means its potential selling crowd is old ppl, not fuckin street racing teenagers.

Its meant to look good while cruising streets under speed limits, driven by old ladies going to shop at fucking macy's in the morning LMAO

  • yeah but some times old people deserve to want have some fun.

  • the drama when braking its hilarious...

  • wow that thing is slow, heavy and takes forever to break...what a peice, not to mention its a take off from like a m35 infiniti, lexus and acura tl....

  • In the last few seconds of the video, smoke is pouring out of the exhaust

  • 1. Buick isn't Mercedes.

    2. LMFAOOOOOOoooo, they COPIED Skoda Octavia mk. III, has anyone noticed?

It just looks bigger, fatter, more American.

  • I agree the numbers are completely horrible, but let's not forget;

    It's a luxury car.

  • LOL horrible performance

  • WHERE IS THE CXS 3.6L TRACK VIDEO????

  • looks abit asian to me and plz put some LED lights on it will make it look cooler i think

  • Rofl those figures are awful.

  • i actually like it. its kinda slow tho

  • I dont see why GM wants to keep granny cars like Buick and dump Pontiac. GM already has Cadilac, so why does it need another "luxury" brand.

  • The only thing that saved Buick was the China mkt. They love Buicks and buy them all day long.

  • You could say the same thing about not needing Pontiac when you have Chevy. Buick is a different kind of luxury than Cadillac. Cadillacs are built to compete against the performance-oriented imports (i.e. BMW 5 Series), while Buick is more about comfort (i.e. Lexus ES).

  • junk..?

  • Yeah, it looks nice, but its still a Buick. If they want to "fix their image", they need to work on a new Grand National. I think it would be a good idea, seeing as how turbos are more popular now, and Id LOVE to see a turbo on GMs new V6!

  • This car looks a lot better than the previous models. The numbers seem to be slightly below average. I don't judge until IIHS releases the crash ratings. Buick still only offers a limited choice of engines. I would like to see this car with a turbo diesel option. Great interior and finally a real nav system instead of that stupid on-star nav system.

  • What the hell is buick thinking. Who is going to buy their cars now, if gangsters were the only ones who bought them. And black people.....

  • Yeaaah Black people ruin the image of cars, what a moron?!!! Actually the problem with Buick is its old people car image which they are fixing with cars like the Enclave and now the Lacrosse so please don't bring race issues into a car channel.

  • Where can i get one for freeee?

Can I trade it in as cash for clunkers??

  • They should have tested the cxs with the bigger engine and active suspension. Looks nice thou

  • allround rubbish performance, really boring. at least it will be reliable, we hope

  • Looks like a honda civic. LOL.

  • WTF, It's a mixture of other cars, it looks like an Honda, BMW or Lexus

  • to me it looks more like the new Ford Taurus... I agree "WTF"

  • yea they ripped the Lexus es350 all day long

  • No, it's a Skoda Octavia

  • I cannot believe I am saying this but that Buick kinda looks good! But the Back is too much of a Honda Accord Copy

  • This car is a mixture of many other cars!!!...

  • This car reminds me of the Koreans that used to copy from the Japanese. They should be focusing on smaller, cheaper, and more fuel efficient cars, get people to ease into the GM brand again.

  • well this car was designed in GM's Korean division.

  • wonderful car, unfortunately buick is not available outside the states.

  • It's the Buick Allure if you live in Canada.

  • Incorrect. Buick is the #1 selling luxury car in China.

  • i want to see them bring back the 1983 Buick regal

  • Looks like BMW 5 Seri nathing NEW

  • It looks like Skoda Superb!

  • looks like a facelifted Chevy cruze to me.

  • WE NEED ACTUAL "REVIEWS"!!!!!!!! we know the car and we know how it looks like...this is unnecessary!

  • it's weird seeing a Buick at the track

  • this looks nothing like a Buick. and i think that's why i like it?

  • this aint got shit on the 2010 Taurus...lol

  • whats the first car in the intro??

  • i think a corvett?

  • Nissan GTR R35

  • its a silver GT-R

  • its goood

  • guys dis is a CXL model not CXS if CXS then its more sportier dummies!!!!

  • i hate the grill its just plain ugly and did you hear that noise at 0.55-0.56 it sounded like the camera guy farted. lol

  • Those pointy headlights just don't look right in my opinion.

Now I don't know what the stats were on the OG LaCrosse, but the brakes on the '10 LaCrosse don't seem too good.

  • 127 feet is impressive, considering the Brembo s
