  • Only Russian that is in the same league as your other great posting of A.N. TY vstasov.

  • @paulostroff99 Have you heard Arkhipova sing Lyubasha's aria from Act I of The Tsar's Bride? Another consummate, unrivaled Russian singer with a gorgeous voice.

    (it's on my channel)

  • I can't thank you enough for such a marvelous transfer. I've fallen in love with this record ever since I first heard it in a miserable, echo-ridden CD transfer 10 years ago. But I've proved totally unable to find a better one anywhere, being compelled to use it in a lecture once simply because I didn't see any other around! What a difference here! Please, I'd love to know which transfer you use -- and is there more similarly expert transfer material from the same source? Many thanks.

  • what a warmth...this is singing, no affectation at all

  • Check out nina koshetz&bruno reibold CD on Amazon! Many works are on there, including many russian composers as well as many others. He had a fine ear for singers!

  • Hello I just added the flipside to this record, Prince Igor Yaroslavna's Arioso in the Video repsonse above.

    Cheers

  • Sensational out of this world singing! Brava!

  • Fabulous singing, in which tone, technique, and expression meld into one. Koshetz' training with Litvinne in France was surely of great benefit.

  • meltzerboy-Glad you enjoyed it!

  • @meltzerboy

  • Волшебно красиво. Большое спасибо Вам, что разместили!

  • Thank you for sharing this recording, with the photos of Nina Koshetz. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Nina's life through her unpublished autobiography, and have since written a screenplay of her life story, and her amazing romance with Sergei Rachmaninoff. Her story, and voice, needs to be heard!

  • Would love to hear some Antonina
