@hccreekkeeper as AC Griffeth has reported, the heavy chemtrail spraying over the Southeast over the summer was deliberately done to suppress any rain over the Southeast, which is why we've seen a drought for months in those states. The government knows this stuff could cause acid rain in other parts of the country, and they have moved to suppress any rain forming in the Gulf to be deposited over the Southeast.
A little update to the shills and bullshitters on here discrediting the real dangers of this dispersant and the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons that are known carcinogens. . . A researcher at my university is conducting REAL tests on the waters of the gulf of mexico. We are also working to get some more grant funding to do further studies of the long term effects. JJRGlobal. . .you sure are quiet these days.
Thanks for posting this informative video. It is definitely in the air & rain. Keep posting. Everyone needs to open their eyes and document this kind of thing when it happens.
Have you seen the advertising for the Deepwater Horizon? The words of the oil industry do not match reality. How many wells have been shoddily capped? How many reservoirs are re-pressurising? The people whose only desire is short term gain have destroyed too much. It is time to act symbolically and peacefully.
Statutes are enforced with violence in order to generate revenue. Laws keep the peace. Its time for peaceful, lawful rebellion. Bring back the Rule of Law. THEANTITERRORIST.CO.UK TPUC.ORG
Common sense is required, not 'scientific proof'. Humanity's moment to face themself is here. I suggest self-forgiveness, self-honesty and an Equal Money System so all may face what is bestowed upon us in dignity. There comes a point when all of this is just a distraction to keep us from facing ourself within all of the inequality that exists in this world. It's all relevant.
FWIW, a pH of -5 is *NOT* good. No wonder it burns the skin. I don't even want to think about what it does to lungs.
It would be nice to know what brand of soil pH tester and/or indicator chemical was used. The results may not be accurate, depending on what indicator was used.
So first your wife's a physician and now you're a 25 year oil veteran. seems convenient if not completely bullshit. I study the innate and adaptive immune system primarily focusing on the respiratory and digestive tract. I see now why you have your big oil blinders on, because if you really DO work in the oil fields you wouldn't benefit one bit from this being discovered. As a matter of fact, there was a story on the local news about the dangers of corexit the day after i made that post.
thank you Sir for posting this video! my family & I live on the Gulf coast in west central FL. for about 2 months we have all been experiencing sore throats, persistent cough, nausea, diarrhea, muscle spasms and pain. my daughter went to the DR this morning and was told that she was healthy. i'm concerned we are being affected by Corexit. i'm curious to know if there are others in my area that have been affected as well.
Very interesting. Trusting the authorities to tell the truth is "beggers belief". I'll take my chances with the opinions of this "unlearnered man". More credible than the EPA + CDC combined. Get ready for the plagues
HERES something for you, JRR GLOBAL. Why don't you take a look at the MSDS (that's a material safety data sheet, in case you are a moron who doesn't know your *** from a hole in the ground) for Corexit and tell me if it's JUST PROPYLENE GLYCOL. and note under environmental precautions it reads DO NOT CONTAMINATE SURFACE WATER. note the required protection STANDARD PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. That means a TYVEK SUIT y o u m o r o n
Started posting Twitpics @ this on 7-4-10. Have 2 vids uploaded from pics I took in Daniel Boone National Forest. If interested, take a look at my channel, TheShortround82.
My throat is scratchy...my sinus and throat tissue are constantly burning. Any idea of who may be keeping tally on the health issues? I have head aches and so does my room mate
My god...If this were true hundreds of thousands of people would be filling of the hospitals...Not just a select few people..You think they were the only ones in the rain that day...Think again..
@64mustanggirl Every individual has a different immune system. Some more sensitive than others. By your reasoning, every person who goes to sea will get sea sick because a few do.
On that plane trip, what did you see of birds? Flying? Sick? Uneducated go by more of watching what is getting sick and dying. neighbors, pets...When it's a slow kill, it's harder to discern. I would like to know from walking the streets in those areas what people are going through, how many are sick from this? What is going on with oil on their cars, houses? 40% of gulf floor covered in a cloud of dispersed oil means toxic rain for many years. This high dosed person lives what neighborhood?
If the dispersant is making the oil vaporize into the clouds it's an argument never to use dispersant again. The Chinese have a big spill now and I'm trying to find out whether or not they use dispersant. I bet they don't. The Chinese are against chemicals used in the US, they (CIrque du Soleil performers) refuse to drink soymilk unless it's labled only in Chinese. They don't trust US food. Any1 washing their car windows can figure this out. How are the car windows in the rain out there?
I have spoken with a friend of a friend who is a chemical salesman for G.E. BP asked them to sell them dispersant and they REFUSED the sale, citing that the use of so much dispersant would be disastrous for the Gulf of Mexico. BP subsequently bought 'Corexit' from a different vendor. The recommended use of corexit is 1 ppm (part per million). BP is currently using Corexit at a ratio of *250* ppm. No, oil doesn't evaporate on its own, but when it is mixed with dispersant, it aerosolizes. BAD
@jjrglobal HAHAHA and it just 'goes away, right? It breaks the SURFACE TENSION of the oil so it disperses into smaller globules, but it's still there. It also contains 2-Butoxyethanol which causes hemolysis of red blood cells, and Organic sulfonic acid salt. If you break the surface tension of the oil enough to cause it to achieve negative buoyancy it enters the water table and thus can be aerosolized when water droplets evaporate with tiny oil/corexit droplets in suspension.
If you believe that this dispersant was evaporated and then rained down on people causing soar throats, diarrhea and vomiting then perhaps you should see a psychiatrist about your hypochondria. Like I said before people are going to blame every virus, every sickness, and every ailment for the next two years on this oil spill. Its idiots like you that got DDT banned, causing millions of unnecessary deaths worldwide
@jjrglobal First of all, learn to spell before you call someone an idiot. I'm making no claim of such at all. I don't know the people who wrote in and haven't heard any firsthand accounts of such. However, if YOU think it's so impossible for noxious chemicals to evaporate into the water table and be blown inland then you've got your head up your ass.
@jjrglobal I'd also like to know exactly what source you cite for your obviously EXTENSIVE research into this and other environmental concerns. I've brought a good bit of PROVABLE FACTUAL INFORMATION TO THE TABLE. What have you done? Save for calling a few concerned people 'idiots' and 'hypochondriacs'. There will always be people looking to profit from disasters like this (just look at Katrina victim fraud). However, to deny the reality of what is going on here is ASININE.
The reality is that somebody over in Alabama got a stomach virus that gave them diarrhea and made them nauseous, and another had a sore throat, possibly strep, but both were completely unrelated to the oil spill, just as the millions of others around the world with sore throats and the shits are completely unrelated to the oil spill. To think otherwise would be asinine.
@jjrglobal why are you still focusing on the lady who got sick? I'm talking about the negligent use of a KNOWN ACUTELY TOXIC SUBSTANCE. I'm not here to substantiate the validity of someone's injury claims. I'm saying this threat is real. If you think you know about Corexit why don't you read up on exactly HOW the chemical process works to disperse the oil and what it is doing to the water down here. Couldn't hurt to expand your mind a bit. There are less toxic dispersants that work better.
Hell thats what this video is about, is it not? What are you even arguing about then? You said that the dispersed oil could be evaporated, I assumed you were making the case for the sick people in this video. What are you trying to make a case against then? Do you know how much dispersant would have to be evaporated, form a cloud and then rain on someone or even become airborne to breathe enough to affect their health? 99% is still in the water, and its a big ass sky.
If you live down there, I would be a hell of a lot more worried about what that DOW chemical plant is spewing than this non health hazard. How many ppm of dispersant do you think is in the air down on the coast. Its not even measurable
@jjrglobal According to who the same people who said it was only about 5,000 brls a day, or the government who said the top kill was working perfectly?
@jjrglobal Go watch the video with the guy from the EPA on MSNBC he backs up everything the "Conspiracy Theorists" have been saying for weeks. He said the Govt is lying about the amount of toxins in the Water, and the Air from the Dispersant. He said that they wont tell the public because they think we cannot handle the truth. While oil cannot evaporate the dispersant sure as hell can.
@jjrglobal also BP was using Corexit, and the EPA told them to stop using it, and to use something less toxic but BP told them no. So for the past what is it 100 something days? BP has been dumping Corexit all over the Oil in the Gulf which is from what the EPA states 4 times more toxic than the Oil.
@jjrglobal You should see a doctor about your blindness and a shrink for your head.
This has been a prediction for weeks now and many scientists agree that the dispersant causes it to evaporate and cause health issues. I choose to believe men and women of science that a poster on You Tube that is obviously shilling for BP.
@hccreekkeeper My throat is scratchy...my sinus and throat tissue are constantly burning. Any idea of who may be keeping tally on the health issues? I have head aches and so does my room mate. we live a few miles north of Dauphin Island. I have smelled the fumes from the petroleum in my back yard.....from the time it took to walk from my house to my car, I developed a head ache.
@jjrglobal IT's not hypochondria on this mans airplane or on his PH testing strip now is it. Your an asshole and I hope you burn in hell along with BP, mainstream media and the U.S. and British NWO government. Prick.
@jjrglobal According to BP, it is nothing more than Dawn dishwash.
Are you saying Propylene Glycol is nontoxic and does not break down oil into the water column? If it does sink it, as you say, where does it sink to that it is no longer a toxic product?
@jjrglobal no. the MICROBE TECHNIQUE WOULD HAVE WORKED BUT THEY CHOSE NOT TO DO IT. YOU SERIOUSLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. Corexit is NOT oil eating microbes. it is a CHEMICAL.
Wrong again dipshit, the microorganisms are natural, they would have consumed the oil without anything, the dispersants speed up the process by breaking the oil down. Why dont you go to the Corexit website and see for yourself, assclown
Actually I'm using my wifes expertise as verification, shes a physician. She verified what anyone with a lick of common sense already knows, that neither the oil or the dispersant is making anyone sick from rain or by breathing it. Perhaps if you swam directly in the dispersant and oil and then got a skin rash, then I'll believe you, but to think that enough dispersant evaporated formed a cloud and produced a concentrated enough rain to effect someones health is just ridiculous
@jenovaprodigal So....can I find out who the different vendor is? And what does G.E. stand for. This is really newsworthy, is there a youtube video on this info?
@ouivalerie The different vendor is Nalco. and G.E. is General Electric. Manufacturers of electronics, appliances etc. which also has a plastics and chemical division. G.E. is huge.
@jenovaprodigal and you're gonna get a real giggle when you see what company has a stake in Nalco. That's right, you guessed it! BP!!! They bought the dispersant from their own manufacturer!
It's hard to pinpoint, but this vid reeks of someone trying to stir controversy. People vomiting from a little rain? More than likely this guy faked this by putting something on his wings. Or it's just pollution as someone noted. It reminds me of an earlier attempt where a guy said an oil spot on his street was caused by this. Yet everyone around him was fine. And he's careful to play like he's stupid, but at the same time smart enough to cover his ass. Let's just say I'm doubtful.
@pokesnoke i think wat he was trying to get a cross was pursued more research into this. i think you and i would agree that if air is polluted with oil and gas then its not a safe environment to be around.. and that was his best attempt..
@818doodooroo, thanks, but he's going further than trying to get across that it might not be a safe environment. He's claiming to have actual oil on the wings, which is pretty much impossible. It must be something else if he indeed found it on the wings. And while he doesn't claim it makes him sick, he reads letters from some nobody, to get that point across while protecting himself from liable. That way no one can say he claimed that, but he wants everyone to think it. Just my feeling..
also instead of making a video saying he thinks it's that. He should have had it tested for oil. But he didn't do anything of that. Just made a video. But oh well, it's just youtube here, lol. Never know sometimes..
@pokesnoke LEs't just say that I really don' care about your opinion. I was there, I shot the video and photos, no one placed oil on the aircraft, it was there after flying through the oil vapors evaporating up from the Gulf.
Give me one good reason why anyone would make this up?
Certainly not money. What motivation would anyone have in making things like this up. I believe you to be a BP Shill and sent to create doubt in any story that BP does not approve.
Spread oil EVENLY over every surface of the planes leading edges only. Make sure only the front of every rivet, screw, strut, wing, instrument surface, landing gear, lights and tail, no oil can be seen on the back edge. It feathers as if sprayed on with an air brush. (with none getting out of the spray pattern)
When you attempt this you will see just how stupid your comment is.
Why would I make it up? I have grandkids who are breathing this mess and I care.
@hccreekkeeper obviously a troll who doesn't live anywhere near the G.O.M. Why should he care? I don't even have kids yet. Sad part is, when I do they'll never get to see Gulf Shores like I remember it. EVER. This is going to be a disaster for lifetimes to come.
@jenovaprodigal I had to leave Gulf Shores, probably forever. Late April, after
fishing all day in the state park, got very sick the following day. ..along w/my neighbor who was with me. The dr's thought we'd both had strokes, it wasn't but the signs were exactly like that. After MRI's etc neurologists said we had multiple lesions in our white brain matter. Headaches, disorientation, gait disturbance, burning eyes, ears ringing and extreme fatigue. We could smell something noxious that day
it's also possible the build up is some other form of pollution in the atmosphere. The amount of trace elements (if any) that could leave the surface are small, and once evaporated would meet with a lot of sky etc. It's not like you will get oil on the wings. But testing to see what's on the wings would be interesting. As for "cold like symptoms" that's something that anyone could imagine and then blame it on this. The vid protects itself well and seems fishy, but testing can't hurt
@rfsent5 What is fishy is the fact that all the cleanup workers that have become ill from these toxins were asked by BP NOT to go to local hospitals, but rather let BP's health teams take a look at them. What is fishy is the lengths BP has gone to cover up every aspect of exactly just how DISASTROUS this is. The day this was filmed BP claimed to be 'having trouble finding oil'. I see these guys had no difficulty doing so. What is fishy is this video has been deleted from FB feeds a few times
@rfsent5 I totally don't think someone can imagine diarrhea, vomiting, and headache all by themselves with no chemicals unless they were hypnotized to have this happen, this person just ran out in the rain, I mean I doubt they underwent any mind conditioning to create this in their head. The symptoms sound classic chemical poisoning.
Dumbasses will blame every snotty nose on the oil spill. I work in the oil field, have for over 20 years, I've been doused in oil for most of my life and I'm healthier than most of the people I know. Stop blaming every ailment on the oil spill, lookin for your settlement.
A couple of times. Have you ever been to south LA.? There are chemical plants on every corner and one of the largest hazardous waste dumps in the world and these people are bitchin about oils toxicity?
You want to see the world slip into total chaos overnight? You want to see what happens when food isn't delivered into new york city for 3 days? Or what happens when no one can get to or from work? People will beg for martial law.
Dont make such moronic comments, they just might come true. The reason you have the standard of living that you do is because of one thing, OIL.
It's impossible for oil to simply evaporate into rain. That's why oil stains stay in your driveway after it rains. If this weren't true, the spot would eventually disappear. However, there might be some trace elements that escape. If heated up to several hundred degrees, lower molecular weight components boil off first leaving heavier ones behind. At 650 F, the oil would break down and large elements can become small. But this under 100 F, so very little trace elements can escape if any..
@rfsent5 Does your research include dispersed oil? Corexit changes the molecular structure of oil making it a part of the water column and certainly CAN be evaporated.
@josephmarkovich i gave myself a thumbs up i hope it worked damn i spent like an hour writing these comments i wish this oil would kill everyone so i can be the last person on earth and do whatever i want because i know i am going to be the last person on earth if it evers ends because im me, have u ever tried to think of what its like before you were born, thats how it is when u die, try to think about it your mind will blank and you will forever be in a state of psychosis.
Population control, The Democratic north is trying to thin out the opposition by way of letting a disaster go on this long, and not do anything about it. Kill em with their own weapons.
If you could imagine a side view of the land structure where the oil spill is. It would be Oil at the bottom, Methane ontop of the oil, then land, then water. Coreexit+The methane gas could make a nasty "Vapor." But like ou I'm not a doctor either.
@MrJCG1 haha i like how you tried to relate those too statements. But seriously man you can see what the issue is here and it has clear logic. Just look at how the modern world dealt with the oil spill in the first place. Obviously its possible this could be a problem that hasn't been mentioned yet.
Thank you for sharing, there is no doubt in my mind that this is/will continue to be a hazard to our environment for the next several to maybe even a dozen years. It is such a shame that money and greed have the ability to ruin our planet. I wish there were natural scientific laws to help prevent this kind of stuff from happening ever again. I would say that I wish that there were better GOVERNED laws from allowing this to happen again, but we all no that's not going to happen.
@brucemcdaniel1 how is it due to greed? dont u think if they were greedy they would want to fix this faster as they are losing money each second gallons of oil comes out of the ocean floor so tell me how possibly is this problem due to greed...damn people are so stupid ....
@Tackleqb Because BP had the option to use oil-eating microbes from the START to fix the problem. Instead they opted to let the well gush and HARVEST the oil. Tell me that's not greed. Because instead of letting the oil be the worst of our problems they decided (against a warning by G.E. that dispersants are worse than the oil) to use corexit to MASK the magnitude of the problem. Yes, dispersants are just a COVER UP. And a horrible one at that.
And these morons still think that drill baby drill is our solution to a good way of life. You guys have got big problems down there and if it were me living there I would move. Move away from all the stupid people who think that drilling for oil is a great way of life. My god you people are stupid.
I have an engineering degree from Stanford. SO WHAT !
Your first-hand experience is worth more than a thousand bought-and-paid-for (by BP) "scientific opinions".
You don't need a degree to be a good investigator, just Honest - which you are.
Personally I am very sensitive to air quality, I had exposure to asbestos when I was younger. Looks like I need to stay away from the SouthEast USA. Oh well, I didn't want to go to DisneyWorld anyway :-)
@yahwehufos Also, by everyone who sees this putting it on their youtube accounts so it is the first thing people see and then spreading the word to all the friends in their accounts..that's one way, and there are many others..this needs to go viral, and it is going to take not corporate media or the government, but enough everyday regular people that are concerned about this enough to want to make a difference.
@genericwannabe As it turns out, I misread the message, the symbol used was to indicate "approximately" pH 5. We are setting up better controlled tests for the next rain. Sorry for the confusion. I know that 5 is acidic to some degree.
@hccreekkeeper ya because if the acid rain had a pH of 2 then it would give you severe burns on your skin and cause extreme corrosion on any metal as well as kill every living organism in the water and on land. A pH of 5 however is not as dangerous considering that normal rain can have a pH of 5.5 or lower. If the pH goes lower than 5 there is a serious problem.
The pH scale is not limited to 0-14. since it expresses the -log [h+] and the concentration can exceed 1 mol/l . Although that only applies for VERY concentrated solutions, something not aplicable here.
Just wanted to point out, the 0 and 14 aren't "set in stone".
The EPA also said, in the aftermath of September 11th, that the air was safe to breath for cleanup workers and first responders. Years later, hundreds, maybe thousands, of cleanup workers are dying horrific deaths from rare respiratory diseases.
Although I wish you were reporting good news, you work here is unmatched. Too bad our corporate owned media can not give us the truth as you have done. Great reporting. Stay safe. They may have a bead on you now.
Hi am interested observer in England, nice to see reasoned ideas/arguments rather than the usual media hype and crap that the press try to get us to believe! are there any blogs or sites where i can be kept informed of this story rather than official news sites as they only tell us what they want us to know, this is the first intelligent thing ive watched so far about this terrible situation, many thanks
Thank you so much for standing up for the rest of us! We need you up there doing this. It means so much to all of us that you are bringing out the truth, especially when all you hear is lies from BP and the government. Keep up the good work - God bless!!
Humans could fix this in terms of fuel use and fuel production. Status hog people want this, because it gives them a chance to appear as important or better yet to be a center of attention once in their sorry lives. What's the big difficulty with doin things correctly. Are we aware that big energy is forcing us to use this kind of energy and are in collusion with legal forces or other blah blah forces? There is a better style of engine that uses less fuel and other styles of fuels.
The head of the American Association of Professors has accused BP of trying to "buy" the best scientists and academics to help its defence against litigation after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
"This is really one huge corporation trying to buy faculty silence in a comprehensive way," said Cary Nelson.
BP faces more than 300 lawsuits so far.
Some scientists approached by BP lawyers have been offered as much as $250 an hour.
Another great video,John...keep up the wonderful work you are doing...and be safe, it looks like there may be a hurricane heading your way sometime over the weekend.
"They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? ~ Patrick Henry
You don't need a PHD to kiss and cover abusive corporate ass, imagine how stupid the ones who have PHD's feel that they thought they did! You are a hero and it doesn't take a PHD to see the crap on your aircraft, PHD's are overhyped more often than not used to intimatate. You would be suprised how many peopole don't care about degrees,l care lmore about down to earth humans that care enough to be honest. Thank you! The EPA has been corrupt since and maybe before the 3 Mile Island incident.
Thank you sir for the informative video! I hope this news continues to reach people in the gulf. It has major implications not just for the gulf states, but also for the rest of the northern states as well. God bless you for trying to help everyone!
The creator of this video has done it again. I have found this video just as educational as the first video done several weeks ago. Keep up the good job.
that means EPA do the job you were hired and paid to do or get out of your chair, grab your coat and await your summons in the mail for Crimes Against Humanity and your scheduled date to pay the piper.. Lead, Follow or get out of the way..
I am repeating a comment because YT did not post mine. I just wanted to thank you for posting this video. I am posting it for others to see. I have friends and family on the Gulf coast and I am horrified of the loss of 1st Amendment Rights and the danger Corexit poses on human and animal life and damage to the environment. EPA should be honest and up front to warn the public. They are failing and avoiding the truth because they are accountable for allowing BP to use Corexit.
Thank you for posting this video. People need to realize the oil industry nor our environmental regulatory agencies will alert us to any potential danger to Corexit or the toxic stew in the Gulf. It's not in their best interest. Corporations have become our government it seems. Government inaction speak louder than words.
the Corexit breaks down the oil so it is even easier for weather systems to pick it up and rain it back down on us, this could make the population ill . I can tell you one think don't wait for them to tell you to evacuate the states that are near the gulf because it will never happen, don't get caught in the storms that are to come carrying all of the pollution from the
I want this video on my KB775 Scarlet unit.

You know the research you seek will never be done, right?
After all - if there were to be evidence of the incredibly-high numbers of people affected, then BP would be "on the hook" for taking care of them.
That's just not going to happen.
REMEMBER: This is all happening on The Anointed One's watch.
Remember how it was supposed to be Bush & Co who were in bed with the oil companies? Who were the ultimate fascists?
Yeah.

Have you seen the advertising for the Deepwater Horizon? The words of the oil industry do not match reality. How many wells have been shoddily capped? How many reservoirs are re-pressurising? The people whose only desire is short term gain have destroyed too much. It is time to act symbolically and peacefully.

This high dosed person lives what neighborhood?
ouivalerie 1 year ago
If the dispersant is making the oil vaporize into the clouds it's an argument never to use dispersant again. The Chinese have a big spill now and I'm trying to find out whether or not they use dispersant. I bet they don't. The Chinese are against chemicals used in the US, they (CIrque du Soleil performers) refuse to drink soymilk unless it's labled only in Chinese. They don't trust US food. Any1 washing their car windows can figure this out. How are the car windows in the rain out there?
ouivalerie 1 year ago
I guess people near the gulf should go about their daily business with respirators on for the next few months.
It's ok, theres cities in China, Taiwan and India where they do that as well.
fatezor 1 year ago
I have spoken with a friend of a friend who is a chemical salesman for G.E. BP asked them to sell them dispersant and they REFUSED the sale, citing that the use of so much dispersant would be disastrous for the Gulf of Mexico. BP subsequently bought 'Corexit' from a different vendor. The recommended use of corexit is 1 ppm (part per million). BP is currently using Corexit at a ratio of *250* ppm. No, oil doesn't evaporate on its own, but when it is mixed with dispersant, it aerosolizes. BAD
jenovaprodigal 1 year ago
@jenovaprodigal
No it doesnt, it breaks the oil up and it sinks. Corexit is propylene glycol.
jjrglobal 1 year ago
@jjrglobal HAHAHA and it just 'goes away, right? It breaks the SURFACE TENSION of the oil so it disperses into smaller globules, but it's still there. It also contains 2-Butoxyethanol which causes hemolysis of red blood cells, and Organic sulfonic acid salt. If you break the surface tension of the oil enough to cause it to achieve negative buoyancy it enters the water table and thus can be aerosolized when water droplets evaporate with tiny oil/corexit droplets in suspension.
jenovaprodigal 1 year ago
@jenovaprodigal
Its idiots like you that got DDT banned, causing millions of unnecessary deaths worldwide
jjrglobal 1 year ago
@jjrglobal First of all, learn to spell before you call someone an idiot. I'm making no claim of such at all. I don't know the people who wrote in and haven't heard any firsthand accounts of such. However, if YOU think it's so impossible for noxious chemicals to evaporate into the water table and be blown inland then you've got your head up your ass.
jenovaprodigal 1 year ago
@jenovaprodigal
What did I spell incorrectly?
jjrglobal 1 year ago
@jjrglobal I'd also like to know exactly what source you cite for your obviously EXTENSIVE research into this and other environmental concerns. I've brought a good bit of PROVABLE FACTUAL INFORMATION TO THE TABLE. What have you done? Save for calling a few concerned people 'idiots' and 'hypochondriacs'. There will always be people looking to profit from disasters like this (just look at Katrina victim fraud). However, to deny the reality of what is going on here is ASININE.
jenovaprodigal 1 year ago
@jenovaprodigal
To think otherwise would be asinine.
jjrglobal 1 year ago
@jjrglobal why are you still focusing on the lady who got sick? I'm talking about the negligent use of a KNOWN ACUTELY TOXIC SUBSTANCE. I'm not here to substantiate the validity of someone's injury claims. I'm saying this threat is real. If you think you know about Corexit why don't you read up on exactly HOW the chemical process works to disperse the oil and what it is doing to the water down here. Couldn't hurt to expand your mind a bit. There are less toxic dispersants that work better.
jenovaprodigal 1 year ago
@jenovaprodigal
99% is still in the water, and its a big ass sky.
jjrglobal 1 year ago
@jenovaprodigal
If you live down there, I would be a hell of a lot more worried about what that DOW chemical plant is spewing than this non health hazard. How many ppm of dispersant do you think is in the air down on the coast. Its not even measurable
jjrglobal 1 year ago
@jjrglobal According to who the same people who said it was only about 5,000 brls a day, or the government who said the top kill was working perfectly?
hccreekkeeper 1 year ago
@jjrglobal Go watch the video with the guy from the EPA on MSNBC he backs up everything the "Conspiracy Theorists" have been saying for weeks. He said the Govt is lying about the amount of toxins in the Water, and the Air from the Dispersant. He said that they wont tell the public because they think we cannot handle the truth. While oil cannot evaporate the dispersant sure as hell can.
Dt0x75 1 year ago
@jjrglobal also BP was using Corexit, and the EPA told them to stop using it, and to use something less toxic but BP told them no. So for the past what is it 100 something days? No it does break down the oil, and then its consumed by microorganisms
jjrglobal 1 year ago

Let's just say I'm doubtful.
pokesnoke 1 year ago
@pokesnoke i think wat he was trying to get a cross was pursued more research into this. i think you and i would agree that if air is polluted with oil and gas then its not a safe environment to be around.. and that was his best attempt..
818doodooroo 1 year ago
@818doodooroo, thanks, but he's going further than trying to get across that it might not be a safe environment. He's claiming to have actual oil on the wings, which is pretty much impossible. It must be something else if he indeed found it on the wings. And while he doesn't claim it makes him sick, he reads letters from some nobody, to get that point across while protecting himself from liable. That way no one can say he claimed that, but he wants everyone to think it. Just my feeling..
pokesnoke 1 year ago
also instead of making a video saying he thinks it's that. He should have had it tested for oil. But he didn't do anything of that. Just made a video. But oh well, it's just youtube here, lol. Never know sometimes..

mb1111111111 1 year ago
@pokesnoke Could it be a mix of oil and 1.8 gallons of Corexit. Just a thought.
demdame1 1 year ago
@pokesnoke LEs't just say that I really don' care about your opinion. I was there, I shot the video and photos, no one placed oil on the aircraft, it was there after flying through the oil vapors evaporating up from the Gulf.
Give me one good reason why anyone would make this up?
Certainly not money. What motivation would anyone have in making things like this up. I believe you to be a BP Shill and sent to create doubt in any story that BP does not approve.
hccreekkeeper 1 year ago
@hccreekkeeper Try this.
I have grandkids who are breathing this mess and I care.
hccreekkeeper 1 year ago
@hccreekkeeper obviously a troll who doesn't live anywhere near the G.O.M. Why should he care? I don't even have kids yet. Sad part is, when I do they'll never get to see Gulf Shores like I remember it. EVER. This is going to be a disaster for lifetimes to come.
jenovaprodigal 1 year ago

The vid protects itself well and seems fishy, but testing can't hurt
rfsent5 1 year ago
@rfsent5 Test results will be in soon.
hccreekkeeper 1 year ago
@rfsent5 What is fishy is the fact that all the cleanup workers that have become ill from these toxins were asked by BP NOT to go to local hospitals, but rather let BP's health teams take a look at them. What is fishy is the lengths BP has gone to cover up every aspect of exactly just how DISASTROUS this is. The day this was filmed BP claimed to be 'having trouble finding oil'. I see these guys had no difficulty doing so. What is fishy is this video has been deleted from FB feeds a few times
jenovaprodigal 1 year ago
@rfsent5 I totally don't think someone can imagine diarrhea, vomiting, and headache all by themselves with no chemicals unless they were hypnotized to have this happen, this person just ran out in the rain, I mean I doubt they underwent any mind conditioning to create this in their head. The symptoms sound classic chemical poisoning.

jjrglobal 1 year ago

MrXaborus 1 year ago
It's impossible for oil to simply evaporate into rain. That's why oil stains stay in your driveway after it rains. If this weren't true, the spot would eventually disappear. However, there might be some trace elements that escape. If heated up to several hundred degrees, lower molecular weight components boil off first leaving heavier ones behind. At 650 F, the oil would break down and large elements can become small. But this under 100 F, so very little trace elements can escape if any..
rfsent5 1 year ago
@rfsent5 Does your research include dispersed oil? Corexit changes the molecular structure of oil making it a part of the water column and certainly CAN be evaporated.

It is such a shame that money and greed have the ability to ruin our planet. I wish there were natural scientific laws to help prevent this kind of stuff from happening ever again. I would say that I wish that there were better GOVERNED laws from allowing this to happen again, but we all no that's not going to happen.
Thanks again.

@brucemcdaniel1 how is it due to greed? dont u think if they were greedy they would want to fix this faster as they are losing money each second gallons of oil comes out of the ocean floor so tell me how possibly is this problem due to greed...damn people are so stupid ....
Tackleqb 1 year ago
@Tackleqb Because BP had the option to use oil-eating microbes from the START to fix the problem. Instead they opted to let the well gush and HARVEST the oil. Tell me that's not greed. Because instead of letting the oil be the worst of our problems they decided (against a warning by G.E. that dispersants are worse than the oil) to use corexit to MASK the magnitude of the problem. Yes, dispersants are just a COVER UP. And a horrible one at that.

A pH of 5 however is not as dangerous considering that normal rain can have a pH of 5.5 or lower. If the pH goes lower than 5 there is a serious problem.
isrichards 1 year ago
@genericwannabe actually negative ph is possible. however, something with a ph of -5 would likely burn through your skin upon contact.

@genericwannabe
just a reminder:
The pH scale is not limited to 0-14. since it expresses the -log [h+] and the concentration can exceed 1 mol/l . Although that only applies for VERY concentrated solutions, something not aplicable here.
Just wanted to point out, the 0 and 14 aren't "set in stone".

The EPA also said, in the aftermath of September 11th, that the air was safe to breath for cleanup workers and first responders. Years later, hundreds, maybe thousands, of cleanup workers are dying horrific deaths from rare respiratory diseases.
The EPA is just a political toolbag.

Im happy to see you doing this sir, the people need individuals who are willing to report the truth.
Cormierguy121 1 year ago
Although I wish you were reporting good news, you work here is unmatched. Too bad our corporate owned media can not give us the truth as you have done. Great reporting. Stay safe. They may have a bead on you now.

Everyone should see this video. The main stream media won't touch this because BP and the AP / Reuters are all owned by the same family.

Tuscaloosa looks to be 200 miles north of the gulf. If the symptoms are a result of the gulf spill then oh my is this trouble.

Time to evacuate the gulf... sorry to say

BBC News
The head of the American Association of Professors has accused BP of trying to "buy" the best scientists and academics to help its defence against litigation after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
"This is really one huge corporation trying to buy faculty silence in a comprehensive way," said Cary Nelson.
BP faces more than 300 lawsuits so far.
Some scientists approached by BP lawyers have been offered as much as $250 an hour.

They are failing and avoiding the truth because they are accountable for allowing BP to use Corexit.
whatis1111 1 year ago
Thank you for posting this video. People need to realize the oil industry nor our environmental regulatory agencies will alert us to any potential danger to Corexit or the toxic stew in the Gulf. It's not in their best interest. Corporations have become our government it seems. Government inaction speak louder than words.
whatis1111 1 year ago 2
epa will lie, they have #$%* us big time!
get this on CNN like your other.
mrcartoonmusicvideo 1 year ago
the Corexit breaks down the oil so it is even easier for weather systems to pick it up and rain it back down on us, this could make the population ill . I can tell you one think don't wait for them to tell you to evacuate the states that are near the gulf because it will never happen, don't get caught in the storms that are to come carrying all of the pollution from the
