  • OMG this video was hilarious!!! I just got this washer and was totally freaked out about the water level. I spent 58 minutes watching my washer and kept wondering when the water would start showing up. Glad to know I'm not the only person watching their washing machine for 58 minutes!

  • Why don't you just use a board and a rock because you sound like technology is above and beyond your grasp..Just put your cloths in the fucking machine that you require and don't worry about the door locking..Its a fucking safety feature so any kids can't open the fucking thing...Why such a fucking big deal about the door locking??Are you upset that it keeps you out and you aren't the boss? Its go's this way and that way becuse its a superior machine to a top loader for fucks sakes.

  • @EchoEcho44 (Are you from Quebec?)

  • According to Samsung, this model goes up to 1100 RPM

  • If it makes you feel better----remember there is an outer tub inside the washer which actually holds the water. What you see spinning is the inner tub. But yes, this machine definitely uses little water--so you use less detergent, etc... Wake up and smell the savings! You should get the matching dryer and the pedestals. And I noted that the door has the inclination to close---so your washer is not necessarily poorly installed. If it wasn't level it would run very noisy.

  • @DOLRED

Thanks for your nice comments Dolred....I'm glad to know that it was installed right also! Guess what though...I took the thing apart and MADE it use a lot more water!! I also took out the blue restrictor out of the 'water IN hose' and it fills up a lot FASTER now!! If you're interested, see my video 'Modifying my Samsung WF210ANW to FILL WITH WATER!! LONG VIDEO! ' which shows me doing all that!! Now, I LOVE my washer!!

  • @ywmpg Yes I saw your follow up video! Nice work. We just bought these Samsungs and I was looking for feedback. The Mrs is content with the present low water volume. I am curious why Samsung has not put a water level selection item on this washer. I am more troubled that Samsung will care that the water set up is altered by the consumer? Could this void the warranty? I have seen front loaders with water sloshing around in the window, but is this washer designed for this over its life.

  • @DOLRED Well...I think that the way that my screw ended up it gives me a perfect amount of water, and I'm hoping that all of the components will be happy with it for a long time. I've wondered that also....and by the way, I'd almost bet money that what I did voided the warranty!!

BUT!! I feel it was well worth it!! I feel that clothes need SOME submersion to be thoroughly cleaned...and they're sloshing around in it now...

THanks for your comments! Best to you!

  • I have an LG front load washer. I absolutely am amazed by it. I have never had an issue and it cleans better than you would ever imagine.

  • I stood infront of my new washer today thinking the same things. I even tried pouring water in the soap tray and the washer stopped and emptied the water then continued the cycle....I feel like I just made clothes dirtier..

  • This doesn't look like there's enough water in it. It looks like it is only steam cleaning, and not thoroughly washing the clothes like a top loader. The front loaders in the laundry mats has a lot of water in it and cleans really well.

  • Hey I just wanted to give you a tip if you looking to get more water in the machien, I have the exact washer and I open the soap despencer up and take a 2 lt jug and pour the water in the soap despencer, doing this adds more water to ur load i did this about 3 times untill i feel theres enough water in the washer, I find this works better at getting my 2 year olds clothes clean,

  • @platinumreflex WoW!! What a GREAT idea!! THANKS so MUCH!! See what one of my commenters (TonyStone) suggests!! It seems like it just takes a turn of the screw to reset the water level.

  • Did you make the adjustments yet? Make a new video when you do it with a new review and show people how much better it works with more water.

  • @TonyStone31 Tony, I sure will, but my 86 year old mother was just admitted into the hospital yesterday, and it's a really bad time for me right now, but as soon as I can, I'll sure make another vid, and send it to you also!! Thanks again SO much for the great tip!! Terri

  • @ywmpg Sorry to hear about your mother. Can't wait to see your video and take on your new upgraded washer.

  • @ywmpg I just got the same washer 2 days ago and I do Not like it!!! I can not believe that the person in the video said the same exact thing as I said and did the same thing too by sitting there and watching it with a flashlight and waiting for the water. It was like hearing myself all over again. Well I got know if you took it back to the store or did you ajust the water thing that TonyStone31 posted???? Let me know if it works better. Thanks The other crazy person : )

  • @gofishing305 Hi 'Other Crazy Person!'

THANK YOU for your kind comment!! I'm so glad to hear that someone else feels exactly like I do! I'm helping out my 86 year old mother at the time, and I really can't wait to try TonyStone's little adjustment to change this washer to filling up a LOT more!! To see how to make this washer add MORE water, see my commenters--look for TonyStone and see his uploads!! He's the MAN!!

  • @gofishing305 Hi 'GoFishing'.....well, I'm the one in the video who made it--I haven't taken it back, but am hoping to soon adjust this dude to add more water as in TonyStone's video... I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone!!

  • Comment removed

  • @TonyStone31 EXCELLENT IDEA!! I'll just have to figure out how to get the water from the sink into the washer's soap dispenser...

    THANKS for the tip!!

  • @ywmpg Hey i fixed my machine! If you would like the info let me know how to email you and I will tell you how to remove the top and make a simple adjustment to make it use a lot more water! Mine is working great now... it fills up about 1/4 of the way up the window and you can tell it really cleans it now.

  • @TonyStone31 Maybe I will make a nice how to correct your washer not using enough water problem. These machines are so simple when you get them opened up. Total junk really... mine wasn't even fully assembled when i got it... they never connected internal hoses and my first load dumped water all over the place...

  • Just bought it at sears and it will be going back as soon as I have time to box the piece of crap back up. Does not use nearly enough water to clean the clothes of a working person.

  • to little water to wash and takes a long time to finish the cycle these things are terrible what made you waste money on this go after that top load whirlpool top loader please

  • i have a kenmore elite front loader washer it's terrible and does not clean at all so your not imaging things honey it's terrible

  • @penhouse861

I'm starting to agree a bunch with you......I've really TRIED to like this, but the grass still is sticking to the socks as they've basically only tumbled in little water, and the clothes aren't super clean as with the top loader...

Thanks for telling me I'm not crazy... maybe the people that really like these dudes have forgotten how much better their top loaders cleaned..

  • Normally you can stop them mid-cycle if you do need to add anything. As long as it isn't in the rinse cycle where the water level is above the bottom of the door. They normally make you wait for something like two minutes before it'll unlocking the door.

  • @ShokaLion

Thanks so much for that tip!! Yes...I've realized that after I'd made this video--('duh-on me!')

How many years has it been since the U.K. has been using front loaders?? Or should I say-- How long has it been since they'd used TOP loaders??

  • @ywmpg To be honest, I'm 24, and I've only ever seen two top-loading washing machines one of the two was only used because of space constraints (the washer was in the corner of a kitchen, with units either side, so you couldn't get to the front). The other was my grandfather who used to run a textiles factory, and he used one for testing dyes on fabrics; apparently they wash more vigorously than front loaders. Other than that, front loaders are pretty much everywhere here. :)

  • @ShokaLion

Well, here in the states I'd venture to say that half

the populus have top loaders, and the other half

have front loaders. Thanks for replying!!

  • @ywmpg No problem. Always interesting to note the differences. :)

  • you record this behind a plane or something?

  • i love samsung washers

  • @Photonicinduction

    Yeah...I know...

But, for some reason I still miss being able to look down into a big 30 gallon tub of filthy water (with my clothes in them) thinking that 'this is good!.'

But, I've gotten over taking baths also...

    lol...

  • fucking kill it lol photonicinduction style with a brick and a variac lol

  • WOAH! WASHING MACHINE

  • Has it got Bluetooth or WiFi?

  • @urbex2007

(just a mind of it's own.)

  • in there IS water

but the clothes sucked it up

  • You ow me 15 minutes of my life back

  • @TheToastPeople

    really??

    'Elipsis1771' watched it twice!!

(personally--I couldn't have even done that!! Thanks for posting.)

  • I heard throwing brick in the middle of the spin cycle will help .A real heavy brick.

  • @lewandlo

(look at the video response on the left that I'd gotten!! You'll see just that!!)

  • @Photonicinduction

I saw that you "favorited" this video. Did you fall in love with that washing machine xD? Is it too tempting? LOOOLL.

  • I love your video; it's laugh-out-loud funny, even the second time when I showed it to my wife. We have the same machine you do and also wondered about the low volume of water it uses, but the clothes come out clean, so no worries. I presume it will be valuable in areas of water shortage like the southwest. Maybe it's the way of the future.

  • YWMPG, You definitely have a career in comedy if you so wish; my wife and I laughed out loud at several of your comments. We have the same machine you do, and also wondered about the low volume of water it uses. But our clothes come out clean, so no worries. It will be extremely valuable in areas with water shortages like Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and California. Perhaps it's the way of the future.

  • @Ellipsis1771

awww-you are too kind my friend!

Thanks for the compliment! A lot of people don't like it-I didn't have any idea of WHAT people were thinking about this video! I figure that most people can't handle more than one minute until they switch it off! I can't believe that you managed through 15 min's of me--TWICE! WoWza!

I come from a long line of long-winded-full blooded-(hands-flailing) Italian comedians! My brother's more dry humor/seeMYvid/ Tom and Mom.....trying to eat!!

  • I just got this same model washer 2 days ago, and so far I'm pretty happy with it.. I use it on heavy duty with extra rinse, and so far everything is coming out pretty clean. I hope you are liking it better now.

  • @SilverWolf25 Yes.....I'm liking it somewhat better now. I've found that I can even load the dude up a LOT and use the NORMAL cycle, and still the clothes come out just as well, but about 30 minutes sooner!

    :)

  • omg! lol lady u are so funny haha. but any way i just got that same exact washer from best buy and im washing my first load riight now. but when it first started spinning and i didnt see no water coming out i was like what the hell!!!! lol i started checking my hoses and the knobs i tought it was like a misfunction or something but then i heard water coming out lol but it was only a lil bit hahahaha but then a lil later some more come out. but anyway how are u likeing ur washer now?

  • @CALI2TEXBOY

I'm SO SORRY--I JUST found your comment!! I'm liking it a lot better now--I'm REALLY pushing the limit on it though--I TOTALLY LOAD IT UP-and then put it on QUICK WASH sometimes, and they're coming out GREAT!!!

(ooooo---she's really living on the edge there!!!)

But, yeah.....I'm liking it better and better now!! Especially after seeing how the totally grassy tennies came out the other day!! (see the video!)

I'm becoming more dazzled and amazed at it all the time!!

  • I have a front loading washing machine too and I really like it. The only thing is that sometimes when I put in too many towels my washer won't spin it out since it's probably too heavy i guess unlike my old front loader which would spin no matter how heavy the load is. But since I work in an office and have to wear nice clothes the top loader would damage them after being washed so many times. But the front loaders are good :) they just aren't as good as the top loaders meaning they dont last

  • @Myobokuuzan

I JUST saw that you'd commented on my video! (JSorry for my late response.)

Oh man--yeah--I've had a problem when I REALLY LOAD this dude up also!!

IT TRAVELS!!! YIKES!! It moves like about 4 inches over!! I'd come in after it's all done and find it up against the wall!! hehe..... I really like to push the limit on things though...

I'm sorry to hear that you think they don't last as long--I was hoping they do!! Oh well--may our washers live long lives!! Thanks!

  • @ywmpg Lot of great discussion here! I try to load mine to about 3/4 full. Too much or too little and it'll shake like crazy. I have an older Samsung front loader that actually fills up to the bottom of the glass haha.

  • @d46512 (rub it in, why don't 'cha!!) Just kidding!!

    Definitely keep the old dude!)

  • I have the Same exact Samsung Washer WF210. This washer uses VERY little water. As the washer fills with water, you can slightly open the Detergent Compartment see the water going into the machine. The water usually gets filled just below the gasket so therefore it looks like there isnt much water, but there is water. You can open the washer anytime to add more stuff by just pressing the Pause button (the far right lower button) and the door will unlock. I usually do extra rinse option

  • @rlrx300 Thanks so much for your comment RLRX300....

Yes....I've since figured out how to add clothes...(duh on me!) I thought that when you HEARD the washer LOCK, that that was IT--no adding clothes from that point on!!

I checked out the 'extra rinse' last night....

I was doing a MONSTER load, with HEAVY settings, and it was 1 hour and 30 minutes just for that.....and with the added extra rinse it would have been 1 hour and 45 minutes!!

What do you guys thing of THAT???

    YIKES!!

  • non-HE soap cause suds if too much is used. the computer detect the suds and adds extra rinses to rinse out the residue/suds. In reality the soap isnt what clean the clothes, it the water, the soap merely 'break the water surface tension' and keeps the dirt from redeposit the clothes, if you don't believe me, try washing your clothes w/o soap and the look at the waste water.

  • @outlooker202

Thank you for your comments Outlooker!

I miss being able to open a top loader to check out how dirty the water is, if I were to wash a very dirty load for some reason.

Also, I AM stuffing the thing almost totally full now--I figure that since it has a rolling motion, instead of agitation, that it will be fine, as you'd said.

I like this feature more of course, compared to agitation.

I'm using HE det, and warm water, and things are cleaning some better, but....

    :)

  • most of the time, the water line will be right below the door seal (making it look like this is too little water in the machine

FYI, you can stuff your more clothes in the washer, as it has 4.0 IEC cu3 capacity, it takes the same amount of energy regardless of load

  • I have a different washer, I can tell that I was curious about water use as well. I did a large load (13 lbs) .... my washer is rated for 16-17 lbs. normal cycle . I collected all the waste water from the machine once it was done with each cycle

I would think it was about 7 gals (1.5 bucket full of water) for the wash cycle, keep in mind that it doesn't fully extract all the water from clothes and not to mention the cost 'suck' up water

    1st rinse cycle --- 1.5-1.75 bucket

    2nd rinse 2 buckets

  • Hey.....I think if you use another cycle like perm press or bulky it may use more water. I think the normal cycle uses the least water of all the cycles

  • @mark40511

    Thanks Mark!

I'll try the perm. press cycle!

    :)

  • @ywmpg

Thanks! Let me know if it uses more water. I'll bet it does in that cycle :) Also, good thing you're leaving the door opened ,especially if you use cold water to wash....I think always using cold water all the time will cause a sludge to build up in the washer....I don't like using cold water all the time.

  • jddb1984 has posted a really nice video response to my video....

    Thanks buddy!

  • im sorry to hear your problem with your samsung. I am unfamiliar with the lower end model. mine was 1000 for the washer alone so im not sure why the cleaning performance is not as good. the HE detergent is what you need to use though, these machines were designed for it. also the washers use very little amounts of water, usually about 4 gallons per cycle so it does take longer but your clothes should be rather clean afterwards. and the washer is feeling the load to measure the water needed

  • @mysqueeker

I think the lower end models use 1/2 gallon of water.....

    :)

    Thanks for your response!
