I have always said to myself and my friends that there are 2 things that pretty much define longboarding - commitment. And progression. Good job trying out new tricks, thats what keeps me committed...
@CTLongboarding yes and no. I've been sliding that long, but i only have time to skate on weekends and when i do I usually just mess around and do a bunch of heelside pendys. Now I'm trying to learn new stuff though
don't push into the slide until you're already carving hard toeside. so a long heelside carve with speed into a short toeside carve, THEN into the toeside slide. and just commit. you'll get it with practice never give up!
Love the bentleys

that pavement looks really sticky, aka not good for sliding. better pavement will help you learn it easier.

@merks91 it actually is quite sticky! I just noticed that because I was riding on a rougher road earlier today and got like 10 perfect toeside 180s!

@LongboardATL Yeah I only get to skate on like 2 days during the weekend. You should take advantage of it like we are during break

the are super tricky to learn. keep trying!

ya you just need some more speed, that will help your wheels loose friction more easily.
