When i was in India i watched T.V. interview of Asha Prekh in Ludhiana. She was asked in which song she felt great difficulty in performing in her life. She talked about this song. and said " Being an established dancer it was hard for me to act like an inexperienced girl who knows nothing about dance."

Dear Norina i could never forget this song because of that interview. Thanks a lot for bringing back my memories of the great time i spent in India. I really miss my hometown Ludhiana.

Does anyone know what inspired the tune to this song? I'm sure I've heard some Spanish (or maybe other mediteranean country) song with the same tune. Btw mehbooba o mehbooba was not an original- it was a copy of Demis Russo "say you love me love me love me" and he was a Greek singer I think.

I doubt this song could have been hit in those days. The song has so many musical breaks that its difficult to even remember. But song has been picked by contestents of reality shows. Which shows the worth of effort of Asha Bhosle. Music perspective there is no continuity.
