My Snail always does that to me.. so I don't order it anymore.. I have a hard hand too- Im a SU Demo.. but I prefer my Thermo-web adhesive runner... it doesn't tear on me. Only problem is, I can only find the refills at Michaels.

They sell it at Hobby Lobby or Oriental Trade Company... I really want one, but I can't afford it. (it runs around $45, and the refills aren't cheap either) :o) Even after a coupon- I still can't bring myself to buying it. But I sure do love it!
