  • Yeah, biceps don't throw your punches, but they bring your hand back and bringing your hand back quickly is VERY important in a fight.

  • thank you, namaste

  • so like what if your a chick and you have some big ass boobs?

  • my chest got huge from doing tons of push ups!, i thought push ups were a martial arts friendly exercise, but i guess to much of anything is bad.

  • Aww this is dissapointing, having a bigger chest is not good but it looks better

  • any one else wanna see him in action lol

  • @ShowYourWorking This grandpa could probably kick your ass. Don't doubt what he has to say just because of his age.

  • The triceps are more important, for the reason that biceps are the muscles that pull the arm in, and triceps are the ones that push the arm out, improving punching speed and power.

  • 1 guy had big chest

  • you helped all of my bullying problems, thanks

  • This one wasn't as funny as the other ones from this guy. Frankly, I'm disappointed.

  • what are weight exersies that help build punching power?

  • Strength is important, learning explosive power, and endurance.

However, for martial arts it really isn't stressed a lot. If anything i wouldn't do weights as serious as bodybuilders. We mainly do calisthetics and lots of cardio to prevent us from bulking up.

A good martial arts school will teach you how to use your muscles as one rather than individually, that's the key to more powerful techniques.

  • Rofl, i tried putting my front arms togheter and it failed. :S

  • This is very good advice. God bless him.

  • Abs, legs and arms I find are the most vital for strength training although I still do weight training for strength and cosmetic purposes.

  • i love this guy! In any video this is reallllyy Informational all of his vids

  • good point on the chest thing, but, like it would make too much of a difference. your chest is a bunch of muscle, it kindof absorbs a punch. good point, but really it doesn't matter.

  • bull shit you need an equal amount of muscle across the entire body you need your bis and pecks if the fight goes to the ground. =3

  • @saf3r or maybe just good tecnique.....

  • awesome thank you!

  • nice

  • wow thats a good way 2 be stronger i just tought it was about muscles but it looks like i had it all wrong wow.

    thanks a ton

  • lol expert village sucks

  • what about mike tyson . in fight night round 4 theres a whole diffrent body type called mike tyson and they r all tripple the size of all the others

  • @Boxingkid15 fight night round 4? is that a video game? if so i think the answer to ur question should come easilly

  • Very informative thanks.

  • ya biceps are not important the triceps are, they improve your hitting power, plus the biceps only make up 33% of your upper arm

  • ya biceps are only good to show of to checks i never heard someone say hey baby look at my buff triceps rofl but ya triceps help your punching power.

  • @blax18js how to you work those out ? push ups ? should i even do push ups ?

  • @thecomputerist im sure those are okay i mean to get a big chest u ahve to lift heavy and eat a lot

  • Since I like working on my punches... I work on my legs, abs, lats, shoulder, and triceps...I also do forearms though ...this guy knows his stuff

  • GOD DAM JEWS!!!

  • thanks
