Us fans here should have a knife party on your face. Brostep is a made up word that disgusts all dubstep fans alike. Erase that word from your vocab. Brostep is just plain insulting and to publicly call Skrillex's genre "brostep" is a serious low blow. Skrillex has already said it himself, he doesn't have a particular genre. Yes, his songs are mainly platformed around dubstep, but dubstep isn't the only thing he does.

He doesn't have 'his own genre'. He interpretates his own sounds into all of his productions, but so does every other artist, it doesn't mean they all have 'their own genre'. The structure of his productions meet that of any other dubstep/house/whatever song. i.e. bpm, beat pattern, etc.
