  • Not to say your armor isn't mandalorian, but there are other styles besides the one used by Jango/Boba. No one makes then anymore.

  • @Jakekinfe1 I know, this one isn't a pure Boba. It's custom.

  • @xXBocephusXx ok then

  • @Jakekinfe1 But since the Deathwatch and the True Mandalorians it kindof became the iconic model of armor thou

  • how did u make the range finder?

  • @legofanlogan I just scratch built it out of cardboard and put a bolt through it and the helmet to make it pivot. Then I put the small ear cap over the pivot place to hide it.

  • @xXBocephusXx

Could I have the pep file for the helmet and range finder? Can't find one..

  • @zZQuickSniperZz I didn't use pep. I used cardboard and just free handed it.

  • @awpaulk Check out my weathering tutorial on my channel.

  • are you going to sell this

  • Are you gonna sell those masks?

  • i know this video is old but you wouldnt think about making one more for purchase

  • where did you get the helmet visor

  • @samwisescalf I made my visor from some clear plastic that was meant to be used as a mold for stepping stones. I bought it at JoAnne's craft shop. Then I cut it the shape I needed it and sprayed it with some VHT Niteshades black spray paint tint which I bought from their online website. Then I hot glued it in to the helmet.

  • @xXBocephusXx Thanks

  • Can you tell me more about that visor spray? I'm trying to finish up my mando and I need the visor part. I know the stuff is expensive at like 11 bucks a can, but is it worth it? Does it really work?

  • @qcandymanq3 I like the spray a lot. It is very dark looking when on a helmet visor but yet you can still see out of it quite well in lighted areas. If you're in a dark room then it may be a little hard to see. I use it because it's the easiest way I know of, but I'm sure there are other ways out there. =)

  • @xXBocephusXx Thanks. I guess I'll try a can of it.

  • Did you fiber glass you armor

  • @BundeswhrSoldier No, the armor is made from the plastic tote bins that you can find at places like Target or Walmart. I just drew up some templates and used them to make the plastic armor.

  • can some visor plastic be found at michals?

  • @OCoptimusconvoy I haven't seen any there but there might be. I usually get mine from JoAnne's craft shop.

  • @xXBocephusXx i never heard of that. is it only in us?

  • @OCoptimusconvoy I'm not sure but I live in the U.S. so maybe.

  • NOICE

  • @LordRaive I'm sorry but I don't sell my props. I suggest trying to make your own. It's really fun and rewarding. But if you want to buy armor/helmets try eBay. There are sometimes pieces posted there.

  • are you going to make gauntlets

  • @lycanboyle No, I only made some small forearm guards.

  • what was the paint called :P

  • @darthesgoobis123 It was Krylon flat forest green or something like that.

  • why did you buy three of those stepping stone things

  • @shawnmichalsHBK I bought three because if I needed them again in the future for some other visor I wouldn't have to buy them. I'm always needing plastic for visors.

  • can you make guantlets pleaz

  • @advsds I made some forearm guards.

  • hey could you use reg spraypaint to color the visor?

  • @ninjapocolypse I doubt it. The regular spray paint would probably be too thick and not transparent enough.

  • @xXBocephusXx ok thanks i might have more ? later but fornow ill leave you in peace. : )

  • id love to see you wear it awesome job. : )

  • @ninjapocolypse Thanks man. I still need some more supplies before I can do some more work on it. I'll post an update with me wearing it when I get some more done on it.

  • @xXBocephusXx awesome : )

  • Very nicely done! Kandosii!

    thinking of joining the mercs?

    is the helmet custom made?

  • @DandoVor Thanks man. I am a non-official member of the Mercs right now because I'm only 16, but maybe I'll become official sometime. And yes the helmet is totally custom made with just a little reference from WOF's templates.

  • @xXBocephusXx lol we're in the same boat (except I might be able to join this year)

do you have a "Making of Mandalorian Helmet" that you can post? because that is my biggest problem right now :(

  • @DandoVor haha, that's funny. I don't have a making of Mandalorian specific tutorial but all of my tutorials should help in a lot of the processes. Just not the pepakura parts. Sorry.

  • @DandoVor what is the mercs?

  • @Strifedragondude I would never play paintball in this. First, the visor is way to thin to be safe. Second the helmet has a chance of cracking or chipping and I wouldn't want to mess up all of my hard work.

  • @xXBocephusXx ahh! hmm...maybe reinforce the inside with some sort of shock absorbing insulator? And I would buy smoked football visors for the...visor xD but those are expensive so idk :P

  • ah! looks MUCH better with the range finder on it :D over 9000/10 xDD

  • @Strifedragondude Yeah I think so too. =) Thanks.

  • I think you put a little too much weathering. It looks like camo armor.

  • @dragonbreathstinks This is supposed to be a woodland Mandalorian that is camouflaged but still looks in-universe to Star Wars.

  • AWSOME! °o°

    Very cool!

  • @KinevKeiwan Thanks man.

  • toataly completely...AWSOME!

  • @cloverkill217 Thanks.

  • I can't wait to see the completed version of this. Are you going to try to add any little special bits, like a cape or a special weapon or something?

  • @5FSF Yeah, I will probably have a cape and I'm currently doing concept stuff for a custom blaster pistol.

  • nice armor, although i think that there is a lot of weathering on it, not that its bad im just picky lol great job keep it up

  • @Estanova Yeah sometimes I get a little carried away with weathering. lol

  • finally there is someone on world wide web telling how to make cool visor

sorry I didnt understand how to get the Visor dark coud you please tell me??

  • @RamSkirata The way I do it is I bought a can of spray on tail light tint called VHT NIteshades paint. I bought it online from the VHT website. All you do is spray a layer onto the clear plastic, let it dry, cut out the shape you want, and then glue it in the helmet. =)

  • Wow this is really cool have you ever tried it on? All you have to do is get straps arounr the m and put them around you arms and legs!

  • @Speckleyface Yeah of course I tried it on. =) Wearing it and looking awesome is the fun part! =) The straps are currently in progress.
