I really enjoy Derren Brown and I don't think he's a fake, however I need more explanation as to why he choose such a suspicious looking photo booth in the middle of a street?

I bet he was just looking for any old photo-booth and paid no attention as to where it was any different from any other photo-

booth.

This one just happened to be located where the crew knew he was going to be. So it is highly likely that if he was wanting passport photos, he would have just picked the nearest photo-booth.

In all honesty, have you ever seen a photo booth in a street? I'm not dispelling Derren because I think he is a genius of Psychology, however I find it unusual that he just so happens to choose this photo booth out of the hundreds available in London.

Yes I have actually until recently there was one smack outside Sainsburys here in Warwickshire, until they extended the shop and it had to be moved.

I know for a fact that there also used to be several near the entrance to Marylebone station, London.

So to answer you question, yes I have seen them in the street.

Why would he go and choose an alternatice photo booth instead of the one outside the railways station in which he bought his tickets from.

Thats like saying I know I will buy my train tickets at say Paddington Station and get my passport photos done at Euston Station, which is not far away but too far to walk.

Of course he wouldn't, he would choose the nearest one

@andotoldo dude he says right in the very beginning that its a fake photo booth and that he set it up. I would take this to mean that he ordered one, rigged it to play the sound and put the cameras in.

About a third ofthe population can be put into a trance quite easily. Go and read some Milton Erickson and look at the hypnosis downloads script centre. To test to see if someone can be hypnotised lookk up "suggestibilty tests". I do a bit of this sometimes myself

@Sano22n Well according to Derren, not me, he put the chap in a catatonic sleep, which is a very deep sleep. You should know tat there are different sorts of sleep.

The only thing that I have read about this is that a catatonic sleep or deep sleep is similar to the type of sleep that occurs in epileptics after an attack of epilepsy, from which I used to suffer from myself.

My mother used to spend ages trying to wake me up after an attack, so I can sort of see how this might work(ish)

@Sano22n That was probably the bit that was "organized" beforehand I would imagine, but I guess if you are Derren Brown you can pretty well "fix" difficult situations like that in advance. You would have to otherwise there would not be a show !

I think you will find if you have ever been on a film shoot that they blur the faces for either

a) advertising or b) when someone HAS NOT agreed to have their face shown on camera or c) to prevent identificarion or a person via a car number plate for example. Nothing fascist about it at all. If you were on TV and then some nutter managaged to trace you that way, you would not be best pleased.
