Now so it is a lot of advice on cleaning the house and became Cleaning Services even more. And here I like to do cleaning independently. It brings to me weight of pleasure.
since using an oven cleaner will take off the manufacturer's "stuff" they put in self-cleaning ovens, what can I use to clean the oven without harming it, something a little more natural?

mabey you should let your pets fuck eachother ontop of it then kill them and use there nice warm blood to cover up the nasty pet fucking smell. it works for me
1. You should never use foil in your oven to protect it. This is a fire hazard.
2. There was no mention of wearing gloves to protect your hands as most domestic cleaners can severly burn your skin.
3. If you do use a domestic cleaner make sure that you wash the oven afterwards with clean water and kitchen tissue to ensure that all chemicals are removed from the oven.
@HappyLarry1979 to back up your claims I did have a fire hazard when grilling a steak and covering the bottom of the pan with tin foil. After over 20 minutes it caught fire. Fortunately it was limited to the pan only but fyi flames can shot out. Neutralized the fire with baking soda. Lesson learned, keeping baking soda or an extinguisher around.
@HappyLarry1979 about oven cleaner I wouldn't even use one in the future because of the spots it can leave behind. I tried rubbing mine down with 7% vinegar and then rinsing yet again with a wet sponge to try and get rid of the remainder of the spots. I think the vienegar had a positive reaction to the walls of the overn as I could smell the vinegar so that might be a good sign.

You can not use ovn cleaner on sel cleaning oven...They do make a drip liner for ovens. Or use heavy duty foil. The thin foil can fly up an burn.
I agree with HappyLarry1979

Yes yes I agree with you. They do have liners just for oven drips.
I have been cleaning for over 20 years an I never use oven cleaner on self cleaning ovens. Thank you for adding your comment :)
