  • was this ran off of a methane bio fuel or was this an algae bio fuel?switch grass?homemade oil?

  • it aint green bud, one big distraction

  • sorry bro you can also use mini car compressor.

  • For school, we need to do a science project....

My friend and i were thinking about a very small scale biogas generator...

Can you give us some tips? (we won't combust the gas, we'll use it as a heat source)

For example: whats the best biomaterial to use, should we use yeast,sugar,water,...

We'll start with a small scale test, just to prove the concept (2l bottle) and crank it up to a 10l tank or more.....

    Thanks anyway ;)

  • I'd really like to see this done with fermented sugar/water whiskey mash heated to 180 degrees, running generator from vapor carb... There are presently no such videos on youtube; and so this would be very unique. Tommey Reed had such a video about 2 years ago, but it's now history...

  • I'm afraid to ask.....what is the source of biogas? Is that a septic tank I see? Also how do you get the gas to go into the engine? Is there a pump somewhere?

  • Hi ..i would like to know more details on this ..can i get your email address please ..thanks

  • Yes, this can prove to be an amazing solution for decentralised power and also effective way to combat climate change. This generator burns methane, which has global warming potential of 21.

  • @ajaychandak Yea. it's transferred into water, carbondiokside(which is less evil greenhouse gas) and plenty of energy =)
