i love michael emerson... hes not the biggest or toughest looking guy in the world but he manages to make the character of ben so sinister. His expressions and body language are so intimidating and imposing.. its brilliant to watch.

Michael Emerson's acting shone from the start...and he added so much more to some episodes that were seriously lacking otherwise. Love Ben! My favorite character forever <3

"Still I did not believe it to be true, so I dug up the grave". Brilliant. Anyone else would have just looked at the grave and assumed Henry Gale was telling the truth.

A great Lost fakeout. Because when they find the balloon there's no reason for you to logically think that he's lying and then Sayid just starts dropping so much knowledge and pwning everybody in the room.

Back in S2, this scene blew my mind because I thought he was really telling the truth, and I was rooting for Henry/Ben when he was trying to get through the vents and push the button. So much has changed now, I don't know rather Ben is good or bad, but either way Michael Emerson is a briliant actor and deserves an award for his performance before Lost is over.
